00:00They're not a good football team, Ted.

00:01They certainly are not a good defense.

00:04Good Lord, the numbers are bad on defense.

00:06Pretty much all of them.

00:08They're awful.

00:10They're clearly far and away the worst defense.

00:13However you want to kind of quantify it, 32nd in yards.

00:18They give up over 400 yards per game on average.

00:21That's ridiculous.

00:22They're ranked 32nd, dead last, and TDs allowed at 41.

00:27They're 31st in passing defense.

00:30They give up almost 260 yards per game.

00:32They're dead last in rushing defense.

00:34They give up an average of 160 yards.

00:37They're dead last in points, giving them points per game.

00:40You can average 33.4 points on them.

00:42The only thing, there are two categories that they do rank better than the Patriots defense,

00:48and that is red zone defense.

00:50They're just one slot ahead of the Patriots, ranked 30th in red zone defense.

00:55And then also, they are better at getting interceptions in the Patriots.

01:00The Patriots have six on the season, and the Bengals have eight, so they're ranked a little bit higher there.

01:06But everything else, they're just terrible.

01:11They're awful.

01:12They don't get to the quarterback.

01:13They only have 14 sacks.

01:14So as far as the defense goes, it's an awful, awful defense.

01:19And to kind of put it in perspective, over the last two years, they have had four games in which they've scored 38 points or more

01:26and still lost in the last two years.

01:28That's amazing.

01:29So this year, they had two games.

01:31They scored 38 points against the Jets, lost 39-38.

01:34They scored 42 points against the Bears, but lost 42-47.

01:40Last year, against the Ravens, they lost in overtime, 38-41.

01:44And last year, against the Steelers, they lost 38-44.

01:49So they can score a lot of points, but it still doesn't matter.

01:54Their defense is so bad, you'll probably still win a game.
