U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that he “gets along well” with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and is confident in his leadership, despite the Syrian leader’s controversial past as a former al-Qaeda commander. Trump said his administration was working with Israel to “get along” with Syria after hosting al-Sharaa at the White House. The President also criticized ally Marjorie Taylor Greene for “losing her way” over his global strategy.
