Trump vows to support Syrian leadership after White House meeting with President al-Sharaa

Trump welcomed Syria's President Ahmad al-Sharaa into a US-led global coalition to fight the Islamic State group and later said he plans to meet with the Syrian leader again.

00:04following a first-of-its-kind White House meeting with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharah on Monday.
00:11After the closed-door Oval Office meeting, Trump expressed support for al-Sharah
