US President Donald Trump delivered a sweeping account of what he called historic global peace efforts, claiming his leadership helped end or de-escalate multiple long-running conflicts across the world. Speaking about trade deals and security initiatives, Trump said the world is now richer, safer, and more peaceful than it was a year ago, crediting his administration with stopping wars involving nuclear-armed India and Pakistan, easing tensions between Kosovo and Serbia, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Armenia and Azerbaijan, and pushing negotiations in the Middle East.

Trump also claimed responsibility for halting major escalations in Gaza, weakening Hamas and Hezbollah, crushing a renewed ISIS presence in Syria, and obliterating Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity through what he called Operation Midnight Hammer. He said Iran was just months away from acquiring a nuclear weapon and added that talks with Tehran may follow. Trump further spoke about mediation efforts over the Nile dam dispute involving Egypt and Ethiopia, the removal of sanctions on Syria, and renewed diplomatic engagement with multiple global leaders, framing his second term as even more impactful than his first.

00:00And scientific trade deals with nations from all over the globe.
00:06Today the world is richer, safer, and much more peaceful than it was just one year ago.
00:12We put out all those fires.
00:13A lot of people didn't know, including me, that some of those wars were going on.
00:19And some of them were going on for, in one case, 32 years, in another case, 35 years,
00:23and another one, 37 years.
00:27We were very happy to stop the war that had started with India and Pakistan, two nuclear
00:33nations.
00:34And I was very honored when the Prime Minister of Pakistan said President Trump saved 10 and
00:41maybe 20 million lives by getting that stopped just before bad things were going to happen.
00:49As President, I ended those eight wars in nine months, including Cambodia and Thailand.
00:56And by the way, many of the leaders are here, Kosovo and Serbia, the Democratic Republic of
01:03the Congo and Rwanda, Pakistan and India, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia.
01:13We're working on that right now.
01:15I met yesterday with a very good general and a very good leader of Egypt.
01:22We're working on a dam that was built, which precludes the Nile River from getting water.
01:29It's a little tough situation, but we'll get that settled.
01:34I really had it just about settled in my first term and then we had a rigged election.
01:41It took me out of commission for a little while, but here I am back, we'll get it settled.
01:46But it's a pretty tough situation.
01:48A dam was built and the water doesn't come down to the Nile.
01:51When I think of Egypt, I think of the Nile, but I think of the Nile with water in it.
01:57Armenia and Azerbaijan, who, I mean, a lot of these leaders, they've become my friends.
02:03They've become my friends.
02:04They're here.
02:05And of course, the war in Gaza, which is really coming to an end.
02:12We have little fires that we'll put out, but they're little.
02:15They were giant, giant, massive fires and now they're down to little fires and we can put
02:22them out very easily.
02:23The 59 countries that are involved in peace in the Middle East, many of them not in the
02:28Middle East, they're near the Middle East, but they're not in the Middle East.
02:32And many have said that if Hamas doesn't do what they promised they would do, and I think
02:37they probably will, but they were born with rifles in their hands, literally born the first
02:44day they had a rifle put into their hands, but they have to give up their weapons.
02:49And if they don't do that, it's going to be the end of them.
02:53But many countries have told me, we want to go in and do it.
02:58And they really aren't countries that you traditionally think of as being involved in that.
03:04But that's the fire.
03:06Hezbollah in Lebanon, we have to do something about that.
03:10But these are, I call them remnants, they're small remnants compared to what it was before
03:15it was massive, large, powerful countries fighting each other.
03:20In another great victory for the ultimate goal of peace in June, we obliterated Iran's
03:26nuclear enrichment capacity with Operation, we call it Operation Midnight Hammer.
03:32It was midnight, it was dark, no moon, and every single one of those bombs from the B-2 bombers
03:38hit the air shafts and went deep into the earth and totally obliterated everything that
03:44they were doing.
03:44They were two months away from having a nuclear weapon, can't let that happen.
03:50And Iran does want to talk, and we'll talk.
03:54We've also hit ISIS in Syria, and very strongly, as you know, in my first administration, I
04:03took out al-Baghdadi, the founder of ISIS, and he was trying to start it up again, because
04:09due to the tremendous talent of General Raisin Cain, as I call him, he wiped out ISIS in a
04:16period of three weeks of my first term.
04:18You know, we had a great first term, but the second term is, I think, blowing it away,
04:22actually.
04:24But we took out ISIS, and we had, it was gone, but during the Biden administration, it formed
04:32again a little bit.
04:33We hit it very hard in Syria, and Syria, by the way, I spoke with the president, is making
04:38a lot of progress, tremendous progress, actually, we're very happy about that.
04:42We took off all sanctions, which gives them a chance to breathe.
04:46And he is working very, very hard, and I think he's going to put it all together.
04:52So, many things.
