00:01In Portugal, thousands rally against labour reforms promoted by the government of Prime

00:06Minister Luís Montenegro.

00:08The National Workers' Union called for the withdrawal of the labour reform package on

00:12the grounds that it violates the rights of the sector.

00:15Furthermore, they demand improvements in the minimum wage and announced that the law will

00:20facilitate dismissal of workers.

00:23If the government's proposal is approved, it will be sent to Parliament where it is

00:27expected to be approved with the boast of the far-right.

00:30The organisers of the demonstration announced a general strike for December 11th.
