00:00There's a lot of crap in Hef's in my room.
00:15It's just packed full of everything from every stuffed animal Hef has ever received as a gift,
00:20to unclaimed underwears, to pictures and books everywhere,
00:26to piles of things that we're working on.
00:29I mean, it's not organized in any way.
00:33Okay.
00:34As far as me having any room, it's a joke.
00:38I mean, Bridget and Kendra both have bedrooms the size of a damn condo,
00:43and then I, like, live in a corner of Hef's closet,
00:46and he has so much stuff.
00:48There's, like, no room for anything of mine.
00:50That's why my side of the room is always a mess, too,
00:52is because all my stuff, it just has to go in a damn pile in the middle of the room,
00:56because there's nowhere to put it.
00:59Hef always does scrapbook upstairs, and he works on different projects.
01:09Mary tells me that there are two desks up there, and one of them was designed for a woman.
01:15However, it is now totally, completely taken over by Hef.
01:19So I've hinted around for that desk.
01:22Those are my favorite pictures.
01:27I know you've been editing downstairs in the dining room, and if you would like,
01:32I don't really use the desk in the corner except for odds and ends.
01:37Would you like to have that desk?
01:39Yeah, I'd love to.
01:40Okay.
01:41Then we'll clear off the stuff I've got there, and then you can do your editing there.
01:46Cool.
01:47Thank you, honey.
01:48That's awesome.
01:49You are welcome.
01:50You guys don't even know what a huge deal it is that Hef gave me the office space,
01:54and I think this could be a gateway to bigger things.
01:57I can show you my stuff.
01:59I've seen your stuff, and I love it.
02:02Come on to my house, my house, I'm gonna give you candy.
02:09Come on to my house, my house, I'm gonna give you figs and bits and grips and things.
02:18Hey!
02:19Come on to my house, my house, come on.
02:22I've heard a thing about Fourth of July is food, fireworks, and fucking the three F's.
02:29There's a lot of preparation that a lot of different people on the staff do for Fourth of July.
02:34They have to go around and decorate, set out all the lawn chairs and pool toys,
02:38make sure the volleyball net are set up.
02:40It's a lot of work.
02:41We're testing it to make sure it's okay for the girls!
02:46Oh, crap!
02:49For the past two years, we have had these awesome slip and slides that go down our front hill,
02:55which is my idea because ever since I've lived here, I've seen those hills and said we have to slip and slide down them.
03:01Am I ready, Hank?
03:10This year, Hank decided that we needed safer slip and slides,
03:14so he hired a company to design custom blow-up slip and slides that fit our hill perfectly.
03:20And can we fit two so we can have races?
03:22Yes, that's exactly what I want to do.
03:24Yeah, we should do it!
03:25This is awesome!
03:29No one can top our slip and slides.
03:31They were awesome!
03:33They had these dolphins that squirted water on you.
03:36They had Playboy Bunny logos.
03:38We're like pimp with these now.
03:40I had to test the slip and slide out before 4th of July just so, you know, I knew everything about it.
03:55That looks like so much fun.
03:56Let's see that booty.
03:58I want to do it.
03:59What if I just did it in my dress?
04:00Do it!
04:01Why not?
04:02Take off your shoes and do it.
04:03All right.
04:04Woo!
04:05I'm going to freeze my butt off, huh?
04:08Oh my God!
04:09It's cold!
04:10Woo!
04:11Woo!
04:12Woo!
04:13Woo!
04:14Woo!
04:15Woo!
04:16Woo!
04:17Woo!
04:18Woo!
04:19Woo!
04:20Woo!
04:21Woo!
04:22Oh my God!
04:23It's so good!
04:24Honey!
04:25Puffin!
04:26Woo!
04:27Want to see me go down?
04:28I'd love to.
04:29Uh huh.
04:30You'll love to open up a good question at first, Ollie.
04:33Anything that I really need.
04:34I'll wait to!
04:35I'll wait you!
04:36On your mark.
04:37Yes, sir.
04:38Go!
04:49Definitely.
04:50I'm begging Lou and it flew.
04:52I don't know how it...
04:53It looks like it's almost a wilder ride.
04:55It is!
04:56I don't know how they managed to do that.
04:58Because it's steeper.
04:59It's your turn, honey.
05:00Are you going to go down, honey?
05:02Maybe I will if your dad does.
05:04We'll see.
05:07Did you say maybe tomorrow?
05:11When Heft said maybe, I was like...
05:13Maybe?
05:14Maybe it's a big baby.
05:17We'll see, we'll see.
05:19Do you think he would have went down in silk pajamas and a smoking jacket?
05:22Now that would have been something to see.
05:25Stay there.
05:26Stay right there.
05:27Good dead dog.
05:28That's not staying.
05:29Fourth of July at the mansion is an awesome party.
05:31But it's always a little bittersweet because it reminds me so much of my brother, Eddie.
05:32Eddie is my younger brother.
05:33Him and I have always been very, very close.
05:38My parents got divorced when I was like nine.
05:39And then my mom remarried.
05:40My stepdad, Jeff.
05:41And later they had my sister, Anastasia.
05:42My brother went to mortuary college and was a mortician.
05:45But after September 11th, my brother made the choice to join the army.
05:46And he's now an army ranger, airborne.
05:47And I'm so proud of him.
05:48It's been, well, after the last year's last year, my brother went to the army ranger,
05:55airborne.
05:56And I'm so proud of him.
06:00And after September 11th, my brother made the choice to join the army.
06:07And he's now an army ranger, airborne.
06:09And I'm so proud of him.
06:13of him. It's been well over a year since I've seen my brother last and almost that
06:21entire time he's been in Iraq.
06:24Lanny!
06:25Hey Bridget, how you doing? Happy 4th of July. It's about 1230 in the afternoon and
06:31100 and holy shit degrees out here. I can't really think of much to say but I want to
06:36be able to show you something. I figured I would answer a couple of the questions
06:41everybody always asks here. This is the IDA. It's a Kevlar vest reinforced with plates in
06:50the front and in the back. Lovely and heavy. Hand grenades. They're a lot of fun. I'll show
06:58you what it does here. Well, maybe later.
07:02I was going to say.
07:06It's weird seeing my brother with a real gun and the grenade and it just feels like
07:11I still remember him playing with those kind of things as toys as a little kid so it's
07:16really weird to think that that's real and that he's really in danger there. So I call
07:20my mom and her voice is all crackly and like ready to cry the minute I told her I got a tape
07:25from Eddie. How does he look? Good. He looks so. Don't you start crying now. I know.
07:34Oh, he's going to come home soon. I hope so. I'll get to see him hopefully. I definitely worry about my brother being over there every single day so every time you get an email or a phone call you're like just so relieved. It's very scary over there. It's a war situation and a lot of people are dying and you just never know.
07:53Come in. Shut up. Hey, girl. This is cute. I like it. Yeah, I think it'll be perfect. I love it. We're just waiting for the car. What's up? One night some of the playmates and Bridget and I went down to this Marine base and we went to go say bye to all the Marines before they went to Iraq.
07:58Thanks for coming. Thanks for coming. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome.
08:04This is cute. I like it.
08:07Yeah, I think it'll be perfect.
08:09I love it.
08:10We're just waiting for the car.
08:12What's up?
08:13One night, some of the playmates, and Bridget and I,
08:16went down to this Marine base, and we went to go say bye
08:21to all the Marines before they went to Iraq.
08:23Thanks for coming. Thanks for coming.
08:25You're welcome. You're welcome.
08:27We just had to go down and thank them for, like,
08:29going and fighting for us.
08:31I had a whole vision that we were going to be next to a ship.
08:36And we were going to say bye.
08:39And they were going to take off their hats and be like, bye.
08:43And we were going to be like.
08:45We're not saying goodbye to sailors. They're Marines.
08:48So aren't they the same?
08:54Where's the ship?
08:56It was such an honor to be invited to the U.S. Marines
09:00Corps farewell party.
09:01I want to go there and just give them a hug or, you know,
09:04take pictures or sign autographs, whatever they want.
09:07I just want to go there and tell them that I support them
09:09and that we're thinking of them.
09:12Do you like the shirt?
09:13I like that.
09:14Okay, Joe says I just wear this lacy.
09:17I was so excited that I got to dress up in the bunny costume
09:20for the party.
09:21This is always the fun part.
09:23The Marine Bunny costume is kind of a very sexy version
09:27of the Marines outfit.
09:29It's like navy blue and it has like the little stripes
09:33and stuff on it.
09:34I'm getting booby colored.
09:36Kendra, are you going to wear an outfit?
09:39Yeah, you see it right now, girl.
09:41All right.
09:43Wearing the bunny suit is not my favorite thing because,
09:46first of all, I don't know how to stand in it.
09:48I always look like a fucking camel toe.
09:50Second of all, I can't breathe in it.
09:51Third of all, you know, I like to drink beer
09:53and that's what I wanted to do with the Marines
09:55before they went to Iraq.
09:56So I'd rather drink a beer than wear a bunny suit
09:59with the Marines, you know?
10:01So Kendra will stand next to you.
10:03Do you have a whole speech prepared?
10:05See ya.
10:06Okay.
10:07See ya.
10:08I didn't know you were speaking.
10:09Oh, shit.
10:10You're straight.
10:11You're straight.
10:12And it goes here and I'll be like,
10:13Good luck, you guys.
10:14Love you.
10:15Okay.
10:16Ready?
10:17Christine.
10:18I'm gonna say something so right behind Christine.
10:19Here we go.
10:20All right.
10:29All the way from Beverly Hills, California,
10:33the girls next door in our clay make bunnies.
10:38Hey, guys.
10:39How is everyone tonight?
10:42I just wanted to let you know,
10:43it is an honor for me and all of us to be here tonight.
10:46We're very excited to be a part of this.
10:48And I basically just have two words for you guys,
10:51and that's thank you.
10:52Thank you so much for all you're doing.
10:54I really, really appreciate it.
10:56And I just want to share a little story with you.
10:58My brother is in the Army,
11:00and he's over in Baghdad right now.
11:02And I'm hoping to come visit y'all in Baghdad.
11:04Maybe I can bring a few friends.
11:06Well, my mom and my stepdad and my sister were in town,
11:10and they were able to go with me to that.
11:12And just being there and seeing the families
11:15of all these Marines that were getting ready to leave
11:17was really emotional for my mom
11:19because it's so close to home.
11:21Good luck, you guys.
11:22Come home safe.
11:23I love you.
11:24Party on tonight.
11:25Woo!
11:26And last but not least, we salute you.
11:43I had so much fun that night.
11:45I think I took pictures with every single person there.
11:48Thank you so much.
11:49You're welcome.
11:50We were taking pictures for so long
11:52that Kendra was like,
11:53my cheeks hurt, my cheeks hurt.
11:54And I was like,
11:55this is their last night here,
11:56and I'm not going anywhere.
12:04It's very, very special,
12:05and I'm sure we, you know,
12:07definitely made them happy before they left.
12:09I don't think their wives were too happy, though.
12:13I'm just kidding.
12:18Yay, it's just me.
12:33Fourth of July is definitely my favorite party,
12:37and I think it's one of Hef's too.
12:39Hef invites all his close friends,
12:41and we invite all the playmates,
12:43but there's a lot of other people too that I don't know,
12:45so it's fun to people watch.
12:47When I get married, I want to have fireworks,
12:50but I want to have a tent at the same time.
12:52Well, everyone just has to move over
12:54to the area where the fireworks will be.
12:56Yeah.
12:59Come in.
13:00Hi, Dad.
13:01Hey.
13:02Oh, I have to see your shirt.
13:04Bridget was telling me that her dad had a T-shirt
13:07with a couple of army guys on the back,
13:09and I had to see this shirt
13:10because it looks exactly like Eddie.
13:13I think your brother's better looking than either of those guys.
13:16I think they were just excited to feel like they had Eddie close to them,
13:21so they really wanted to think that this guy looked like Eddie.
13:23Hi, honey.
13:24Hello.
13:25Are you ready to slip and slide?
13:28Just about.
13:29Very good.
13:30Everybody is dressed for slip and slide today, sort of.
13:33Yeah, I told Bridget, I don't care about looking cute.
13:36I just want to be aerodynamic.
13:38You'll be cute going down the hill.
13:40Happy Fourth of July.
13:53I love the Fourth of July.
13:54I had fun.
13:55I played volleyball with my fantasy daughter, Tatiana.
14:01Tatiana is Tina Jordan's daughter.
14:05And, man, I want a daughter just like her.
14:08Do I like playing soccer?
14:09Love it.
14:10That's my sport.
14:11That's my sport.
14:12That's my sport.
14:13That's my sport.
14:15We have trampoline and the volleyball and the picnic and hula hoopie and swimming and playing
14:27and everything all day long.
14:28Not to mention, oh, the food.
14:30It's awesome.
14:32Fourth of July is a mecca for junk food.
14:35They always have hot dogs and hamburgers and chicken strips and ice cream.
14:40I don't play around.
14:42It's like all the good, all-American food.
14:45Very dangerous to my healthy eating if that exists in my life.
14:51All right.
14:54Yay!
14:55What's the strategy, Holly?
14:57I just push myself off.
14:58I have to make sure that people enjoy the slip and slides because it's a thing I started
15:03and it's a thing I love.
15:05And I have to share the love with everybody and make sure they do it, even if they're scared.
15:10I'm going.
15:11I'm racing John.

16:33Woo!
16:34Woo!
16:35Woo!
16:36The fireworks show at the mansion is absolutely amazing.
16:42It's extra touching too, like, when you're sitting there like your loved ones, I get
16:47thankful.
16:48You know, I'm actually really thankful for Hef, like, you know, he's my hero.
16:53The most important thing to me about Fourth of July is remembering the troops and the
16:57people that are over there giving us our independence here every day.
17:00And of course when the fireworks go off that night, that totally made me think of my brother
17:04and I always get a little teary-eyed at the end.
17:08It was really cool to have my dad there this year because I know that he's feeling the same
17:11way I am and I'm not just the only crybaby in the group.
17:17Every year I love our Fourth of July party more and more and this year was definitely no exception.
17:34You look cute.
17:35It's my patriotic colors.
17:38Look at your little shoes.
17:39That's terrible.
17:40Because Eddie's coming home today, I'm super excited because I just found out that my brother
17:46is getting leave and he's flying into Los Angeles and coming straight to the mansion.
17:50You've been waiting for this day for a long time.
17:52I know.
17:53So I asked him, what's the first thing you want to do?
17:54And he said, take a shower.
17:55I imagine.
17:56I imagine.
17:57I imagine.
17:58I said, what's the second thing?
17:59And he said, have dinner and cocktails.
18:01Yeah.
18:02Take a shower and get drunk.
18:03It's such a big deal that he's coming home and I want to make a big deal of it and he's
18:07coming to the mansion and we need to celebrate.
18:13I'm glad we have posters and stuff we can do though because otherwise I'd just be like
18:18going crazy waiting for the time to pass.
18:20Yeah.
18:21I called Sprinkles to see if they could send Sprinkles cupcakes.
18:24Can they send them in red, white, and blue?
18:27I asked.
18:28We'll see.
18:29I don't know.
18:30My brother's schedule is really unpredictable because it's the army and they like make changes
18:37all the time.
18:38I just feel like there's no way of telling for sure whether they're actually coming home
18:42or not.
18:43But I just decided I'm going to keep decorating because if he comes home I want to be prepared.
18:50Yeah.
18:51Eddie gave me another excuse to theme out something.
19:00He's going to love it.
19:036.03.
19:04Oh my God.
19:05Why do I feel nervous?
19:06It's the anticipation.
19:07Winnie, are you excited to see Uncle Eddie?
19:10He's excited to see Uncle Eddie.
19:13Oh my God.
19:14Why do I feel nervous?
19:15It's the anticipation.
19:16Winnie, are you excited to see Uncle Eddie?
19:19He should be here any minute.
19:20Where is he?
19:21Where is he?
19:22Where are you?
19:23Where are you?
19:24Call Mom.
19:26Hello?
19:27Mom?
19:28Yes?
19:29We're waiting on pins and needles.
19:30Oh, he's not there yet?
19:31No.
19:32Oh my gosh.
19:33I thought he'd be there by now.
19:34I'm waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting.
19:35I think he's off the plane.
19:36He's on his way.
19:37Oh, there's this.
19:38Hold on.
19:39Hold on.
19:40Hello?
19:41Yeah, Bridget?
19:42Yeah?
19:43Yeah, I've received a phone call from the limo driver bringing your brother that they're
19:48near the front gate of the mansion.
19:49Yay!
19:50Thank you!
19:51Mom?
19:52Hello?
19:53He's like a minute outside the front gate, so I gotta go.
19:54Oh, okay, okay.
19:55Bye.
19:56Bye.
19:57Let's go, let's go, let's go.
19:58Come on, Winnie.
19:59Come on, Winnie.
20:00Hurry up.
20:01How are you going to hold the sign and hold Winnie?
20:02I don't know.
20:03It was cool to have everyone out front ready to greet Eddie when he came up.
20:18It was Crystal and Kendra and Holly and Anastasia and of course myself and Wednesday.
20:23I'm kind of nervous.
20:24It's the anticipation.
20:25I just got like butterflies.
20:30As soon as I saw the limo start coming around the corner, there's just so much emotion and
20:37excitement and anticipation.
20:38It just felt like kind of time stopped before the door actually opened.
20:42I was like, get out of the car.
20:45Yay!
20:46Hello, so good to be home.
20:53Seeing my sisters cry, it's not hard to deal with because I grew up around that kind of
21:03emotion.
21:04My mom's bad about it.
21:05It's tears of joy, you know, I just was happy to see them too.
21:08Hi, Kendra.
21:09Hi, good to see you.
21:10Good to see you.
21:11Welcome back.
21:12We missed you.
21:13Hi, Crystal.
21:14Hi.
21:15Come inside.
21:16We got everybody waiting for you too.
21:17Okay.
21:18So I'll go get you a beer.
21:19Oh God.
21:20Oh God, bless your heart.
21:21It was definitely an emotional moment to see Eddie again, especially it was such a dramatic
21:25entrance.
21:26Kendra came out and gave Eddie a beer immediately because he needed to unwind.
21:29Oh, thank you so much.
21:30Hey, how you doing, Hef?
21:31Congratulations and welcome.
21:32Welcome.
21:33Thank you so much.
21:34It's so awesome that Hef is having Eddie stay at the mansion because it's not that often
21:43that guys get to stay at the mansion, so Eddie's really lucky.
21:47Kendra already got him a beer.
21:48Yep.
21:49She's already playing hostess.
21:50I learned the first thing he wanted to do was take a shower and that's probably the
21:55second thing.
21:56Well, actually I like this order better.
21:58The thing I love so much about Bridget is the fact that she's a real person.
22:04You know, what you see is what you get and you get a whole hell of a lot.
22:08She's an awesome person.
22:10This is like the best 4th of July ever.
22:13It was so good to have Eddie home and couldn't ask for anything more.
22:17Let's get one with the rest of the gang in here.
22:19Everybody back up.
22:20Just think centerfold here.
22:21Yeah.
22:22One, two, and here we go.
22:25God bless America.
