00:00Strap yourselves in.
00:02Don't you feel it?
00:04Healthy Wealthy and Wise is back.
00:06Bigger and better than ever.
00:08Pack your bags, you're going to heaven.
00:10Lifestyle inspiration at its best.
00:12Sorry, I just can't do it.
00:14Such a beautiful family.
00:16Incredible transformations.
00:18You just look so gorgeous.
00:20Look at you. I can do this.
00:22You look amazing. I'm so proud of you.
00:24Mouth-watering recipes.
00:26American-style down-and-out burgers.
00:29My signature honey chicken.
00:31My wok-style fish and chips.
00:33Unforgettable gifts.
00:35Oh, in your eye!
00:37Hey, Chrissie, this doesn't feel healthy, wealthy or was.
00:39Ha-ha! Hey!
00:41Hey, look relaxed, you're on national television show.
00:44And your chance to win the trip of a lifetime.
00:48And it's my mission to find as many ways to relax as possible.
00:51And I take my job very seriously.
00:53You never know what you're going to get.
00:56Oh, oh, oh, oh.
00:57But what you get, you'll never forget.
01:00Oh, my God.
01:02I'm in love for the moment, and I can't hold it.
01:07Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
01:10If you go, go back, go back to this moment.
01:15Yay!
01:16Hello and welcome back to Healthy, Wellbeing and Wise.
01:20This is the show where we find the smart, fun and practical ways
01:25just to live better, feel brighter and have more time
01:29for super important stuff like ignoring emails.
01:34That is the current situation for me.
01:39So the panic is real.
01:41And here, keeping me updated on all the super pertinent facts
01:45has it going, beautiful Ash Wicks.
01:47Hey!
01:49And joining us in the studio is our DIY dynamo plumber,
01:54tiny house builder, baby grower and Swiss army knife
01:57brought to life the inimitable Amy Stanton.
02:02Hello, gorgeous.
02:02Hey!
02:05Please.
02:06Oh, look.
02:09Tales.
02:09Oh, thank you.
02:10I've had two kids, so I know what I'm doing.
02:12If you finish that, I'll bring you a sweet treat.
02:14Awesome.
02:14I'm out of here.
02:15She's here for a chat, not an epidural.
02:17I'll take one.
02:18You want to like an epidural?
02:19Yeah.
02:20Straight after this.
02:21Now, Amy, you have shown us time and time again,
02:25it's not about massive overhauls.
02:28It's about making the spaces we're in work better
02:32for the people that are in them.
02:34Yeah, and this week, really walking into the space,
02:38I was thinking, OK, what am I going to do here?
02:40And I realised it was tiny.
02:42The space was tiny and that's very hard.
02:44So far, you've been breezing through these transformations.
02:48This one sounds like it might be a little bit more of a challenge for you.
02:51I'm so curious to see how you've come up trumps again.
02:57Let's have a look.
02:57Wayne, Hayley and son Levi love living on their 100-acre farm in country Victoria.
03:06While their surroundings are tranquil, their lives are quite the opposite.
03:10I work as an admin assistant for a towing company.
03:14I'm a concreter.
03:15I start early in the morning, usually finish mid-afternoon.
03:19We love to get home and relax.
03:21Well, try to.
03:22Try to.
03:23We've got border collie dogs, chooks, cows, sheep.
03:28So, keep busy.
03:29Yeah, not much relax time.
03:30And our lounge room really needs new carpets, new couch, maybe a bit of storage as well,
03:38because we use it for our son's toys.
03:40New blinds.
03:42New everything.
03:42New everything.
03:46OK.
03:47I've got some work to do in here.
03:51Oh, golly.
03:51Firstly, the size.
03:54It's tiny in here.
03:56Carpets.
03:57Oh, God.
03:58I reckon Flooring Extra can hook us up with some fresh new wool carpet.
04:04There was a big couch here that took up half the room, blocking this door.
04:09And Hayley and Wayne said they want to go out this door.
04:13So, we've got to figure that out where there's still enough seating, enough room to play, enough
04:19storage, and then looking at this paint job, we're going to need a lot of prep work.
04:27Yay!
04:28It's a bit of rot.
04:29Just what we want for a quick reno.
04:31Can't even do your best in silicon the rest with that one.
04:34That's a bit...
04:35Definitely got our work cut out for us, but love a challenge.
04:40Let's get started.
04:42Before we can begin the painting, there's a ton of prep work to do to ensure a smooth and
04:47even finish.
04:48The window frames are very worn out, so we're using a strong wood filler that will give
04:53them a whole new lease on life.
04:55So, I want to paint it kind of a very soft, greenish sage colour, and I've got myself
05:02four paint samples.
05:03And the trick is, don't paint it on the walls in there, because it leaves patches after you
05:08paint it, and then you don't get the true effect of what it looks like in the different
05:11lights.
05:12I'm putting the paint samples on some cards, going to bring them in.
05:15The point is, testing them on different walls, because they look completely different next
05:19to a window than they do over there on the ceiling.
05:21It's all about figuring out what it looks like in different spaces at different times of
05:26the day.
05:27I've got myself eucalyptus green, bringing a bit of nature back inside.
05:32I love it.
05:33We're colour drenching the whole room.
05:35What is colour drenching?
05:37It's literally when you paint everything, the skirting, the arcs, the ceiling, the same
05:41colour.
05:42It makes the space look bigger, and this room definitely needed that.
05:46The only thing we haven't gone green is this fireplace brick wall.
05:50We're doing it in a warm white.
05:51It's going to bring contrast from everywhere, and it's going to match the couch as well.
05:57While the painters continue, it's time I nut out a new and better layout.
06:01We've got this huge couch, a door they want to get out, so we're going to cut that massive
06:08couch out.
06:09I think if we put a three-seater, big, comfortable couch at the back wall, I'd love to do recliners
06:18here, but they need to get out.
06:20I loved those swivel chairs at OzDesign.
06:23Chair, chair, then you can face the fireplace, face the TV, face the couch.
06:36Yes.
06:37And then that will be the TV unit.
06:40Ottomans, storage, they can come in the kitchen, and bam, out that other door.
06:48Easy.
06:49This is exciting.
06:51But what do the animals think?
06:53I'm here to reno your lounge room.
06:56Oh, nice.
06:58Old mate Moo over there.
07:01Oh, I loved watching your brain tick over there.
07:08When you walk into a place like that that's clearly small and desperately in need of some
07:14help, where do you start?
07:17Chat GPT.
07:18No, I walk in and I stare at the space for a good 20 minutes, like what am I going to
07:25do here?
07:26But then the first thing I think of is the family and who I'm creating it for.
07:29Functionality first and then think of the styling after.
07:32I can't wait to see how this all turns out, and we know you do too.
07:35The full reveal is coming up later in the episode, so stick around.
07:40After the break, Chica's back with a wardrobe makeover that's guaranteed to inspire joy and
07:45jealousy.
07:46Oh my God.
07:48Good kind.
07:50Good kind.
07:51Good kind.
07:52See you soon.
07:56This segment is brought to you by Prime 100.
07:59Vet recommended single protein diets.
08:04Welcome back to Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.
08:06Our next makeover is for a mum who has spent years surrounded by testosterone,
08:12footy boots and BMX bikes.
08:15Now, it is finally her turn to put herself first
08:20after a pretty rough trot
08:21and rediscover a little feminine spark.
08:24Let's join Chica as the journey begins.
08:39Hi, Teagan, how are you?
08:41Good, thank you.
08:42It is so lovely to meet you.
08:44I've been so looking forward to coming today.
08:46Thank you for coming.
08:46I need your help.
08:47I can't wait to see.
08:48Let's have a look in your wardrobe.
08:49Come through.
08:50Hi, my name's Teagan.
08:52I'm 38 years old.
08:53I'm married and a mum of four boys.
08:55I wanted to get a style makeover
08:57because I'm feeling a little bit lost at the moment
08:59with the kids, not sure what to wear on a day-to-day basis.
09:03My style is the mum's style, exercise gear,
09:07black tights, jumpers, runners and dry shampoo, probably.
09:11So I am a big sports mum.
09:15They race BMX.
09:17I was secretary of the local club for five years.
09:20They love it.
09:21I love giving them that support.
09:24I definitely want to make more time for myself,
09:26not much girly time in the household.
09:29As a mum, four boys, I literally have 10 minutes per day,
09:32jump out of bed, put some clothes on,
09:34maybe whack on a little bit of make-up.
09:35So I definitely want to take back my identity.
09:39Definitely want to bring back the old Teagan.
09:41Let's have a look in here.
09:42Welcome.
09:43God, it's a big room.
09:44Very big.
09:44How exciting.
09:45OK, well, what I'm seeing here is a lot of comfortable clothing.
09:48If you were to go out and you were to put an outfit together,
09:50what would you actually choose
09:52from what you've got here at the moment?
09:53I've got some jeans and probably just like one of these basic tops.
09:57OK, so you're a jeans girl,
09:58but we're going to get you into dresses.
10:00Yes.
10:00Skirts.
10:01I've got lots of dresses here that I hardly wear.
10:03Don't have the time.
10:04I think, oh, that's all too hard.
10:06Just go with the, what I know.
10:08Top like this.
10:09When was the last time you wore that?
10:10That is when I used to work in an office.
10:12Back in 2020, my husband got really sick.
10:16He was having seizures.
10:17It started off as, you know, one seizure every couple of months,
10:21but he deteriorated really quickly.
10:23Having multiple seizures a week.
10:26Declared unfit to work and to drive.
10:28Had his licence removed from him.
10:30He ended up having brain surgery two years later to actually fix the issue.
10:35And thankfully he's been seizure free ever since that surgery.
10:38He was our main provider of the household.
10:41So therefore we had to roll reverse.
10:43I went to work full time.
10:45That time of our life was really hard.
10:47It took a toll mentally, financially.
10:50It was traumatic for all of us.
10:51I feel like from him being sick to then having children,
10:55there has just been no recovery time for myself.
10:58So I definitely want to start putting myself first.
11:02Filling my own bucket up.
11:03My husband's very supportive of this.
11:05He thinks it's fabulous.
11:06The kids, I think this is so exciting.
11:09And I think we make a rule now that exercise gear is just for exercise.
11:12Yeah.
11:13So we don't wear it because it's easy to wear all day long.
11:15We have to sometimes make a bit of an effort.
11:17Come home and I'm going to put my jeans on and a nice shirt and whatever else.
11:20Because the only way this changes is if you change it.
11:23Yeah.
11:23I feel like we've got a good starting point here.
11:25I'm so excited that we can take you into Blue Illusion.
11:28We're going to try on a whole lot of different outfits,
11:30dresses, pants, jackets, everything.
11:32But we're going to have so much fun making you feel beautiful and gorgeous.
11:35Lovely.
11:35I can't wait.
11:36I'm so excited.
11:37I feel like a fairy godmother.
11:41Well, you cannot tell me that you didn't immediately fall in love
11:46with the magical Tegan.
11:47What a legend.
11:48Been through so much.
11:51We're going to catch up with her a little later.
11:53But first, let's talk about the other family members who need looking after.
11:59The four-legged ones, of course.
12:01Because if we want our pets to live long, happy, zoomy-filled lives,
12:06their health matters just as much as ours.
12:09Everybody loves a cuddly puppy.
12:14But, you know, those few extra kilos make a massive difference to their health.
12:19One in three Aussie dogs are overweight.
12:22And the worst part is owners don't even know.
12:25While their beach bod is not that important, their health is.
12:29Do you think she's overweight?
12:33I think just a little bit.
12:35He's bang on, apparently.
12:37We are careful with her because she will eat anything.
12:40Yeah.
12:40She's got a bit broad.
12:43I think he's a little overweight.
12:44Yeah.
12:45Why do you think that?
12:46Because that's what our vet tells us.
12:50Just like us, dogs thrive when their diet matches their lifestyle.
12:55Good food in the right portions, coupled with the right amount of exercise,
12:59is the secret to a healthy and a happy dog.
13:02When you check their weight, you put your hands over their ribs.
13:06And you just run them back and forth.
13:08You want to feel a little bit of chub over the ribs,
13:11but you need to still be able to feel the ribs.
13:14Yeah, okay.
13:14So you are perfect.
13:16All right.
13:17Just like this.
13:18Yep.
13:18I can feel his ribs.
13:20There's definitely a bit of chub there.
13:22No, that's a microphone.
13:23What do you think?
13:25I think it looks pretty good, yeah.
13:26Yeah, best on beach.
13:27Great.
13:28Grief made.
13:29High five.
13:32Even a really small amount of extra weight on your dog
13:35can have a real massive health impact.
13:37At my vet hospital, I often see that spinal issues,
13:41just bad legs and serious arthritis is a real problem for our overweight dogs.
13:47What do you guys feed your dogs?
13:49He eats kibble and he eats some fresh meat.
13:53We're giving fresh carrot.
13:55Carrots.
13:55Love carrots.
13:56Do you love biscuits?
13:58What you really have to concentrate on is portion control.
14:03Control their meal size.
14:05Are you ready, Bodie?
14:07How much to feed your dog depends on what you're actually feeding them.
14:11If we're feeding this fresh food, this is how much Bodie needs for one whole meal.
14:17When it comes to dry food, this is Bodie's whole meal.
14:23Bodie loves both of these.
14:24One is not better than the other.
14:26They're just different.
14:29If you're unsure how much to feed your dog,
14:32Prime 100 have this really great online calculator
14:34and you can input age, breed, lifestyle
14:37and it just takes the guesswork out of how much to feed your dog.
14:40Just like us, keeping your dogs in the healthy weight range
14:44can really contribute to a longer and happier life for your pets.
14:48Keep an eye on their weight
14:49and do something about it when it starts to creep up.
14:53Don't be ashamed if your dog is carrying a few extra kilos.
14:57It can happen to the best of us.
14:59My challenge to you dog owners is do the rib test.
15:02It's really easy and if they are carrying a few extra kilos
15:06by using portion control and the right type of food,
15:10it can make a massive difference.
15:13Oh dear.
15:16Don't go anywhere.
15:18After the break, we are hitting the ways with Dr Mike.
15:21Quick tips to keep you safe in the sun.
15:24And we sit down with our favourite crook
15:27turned comedian, turned quiz show contestant,
15:30Guyton Grantley.
15:31Let's see how tough he is while holding python or spider
15:37or whatever's in the box of death.
15:40See you soon.
15:40Healthy, Wealthy and Wise is brought to you by Specsavers.
15:55Welcome back to Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.
15:58Australians love the beach.
16:00Gosh, don't we?
16:01But the sun can be so brutal if you're not super careful.
16:05Now this might be a dark question, but Ash,
16:10how long does it take to get sunburnt under the Australian sun?
16:15I thought you'd never ask, Chrissie.
16:17Because we've got clearer skies, less ozone and much higher UV,
16:21exactly, than most places, about 11 minutes you're at risk.
16:2511 minutes?
16:28That hat, perfection.
16:30You can't be too careful.
16:31You can never be too careful.
16:32I'm inside and I look like this.
16:34That puts it into perspective.
16:35Let's see what Dr Michael has to say about keeping safe under the Aussie sun.
16:42Welcome to one of Australia's iconic beaches.
16:55Now, if you haven't noticed, I'm from Scotland,
16:58where the only thing you need to worry about when you get in the water
17:00is getting eaten by the Loch Desk Monster.
17:03But here in Australia, you have to worry about the sun and the surf.
17:07Now, I've never been a natural surfer and I haven't been on a board in 20 years
17:11and I wasn't even that good back then.
17:12But Aussies are a really friendly bunch, so I'm going to get out of the waves.
17:16I'm going to go and have a chat with them
17:17and see how they stay safe in the surf and the sun.
17:28So, as you can see from me flapping about in the water,
17:31we like to have fun on this programme.
17:33But being safe at the beach is really important.
17:35There was over 8,000 surf rescues last year in Australia
17:39and unfortunately, 80 people lost their lives.
17:42So, we're going to speak to Kai, who's a surf lifesaver
17:44and he's going to tell us all the important things to keep safe.
17:49Hey Kai, how you doing? All right, how are you?
17:51Good, thanks.
17:52You got time for a chat?
17:53100%.
17:54Nice to meet you.
17:55So, obviously, when we come to the beach,
17:58we're here to relax and enjoy time with our family,
18:00but you've got a different purpose here.
18:02You've got to keep people safe.
18:04You must see some people doing some pretty stupid things down at the beach.
18:07So, what is your advice for staying safe in the water and out of the water?
18:11One of the main things is the red and yellow flags
18:13that the lifesavers set up at the start of the day.
18:16That is the marked safest place at the beach.
18:19The lifesavers do a risk assessment every day
18:21when they set up flags and they know their beach as well.
18:25In terms of staying safe outside of the red and yellow flags,
18:29just be conscious of your own abilities,
18:31how confident you are in the surf,
18:34how confident you are in the water.
18:35We always hear about rips and people getting pulled out by rips.
18:39How do you navigate that situation?
18:41Because it must be pretty scary.
18:42Sometimes on a beach like Tokay, we can have snap ribs.
18:46So, what we have to do with managing that
18:47is we'll either relocate the red and yellow flags
18:50or we'll close the beach.
18:53Our job is sort of to prevent incidents and rescues
18:55before they actually happen.
19:03I see the effect that sun has on people on a daily basis.
19:07I work in the emergency department
19:08and I work in a skin cancer clinic.
19:10I see people coming in with the worst sunburns
19:13that you would not believe.
19:15And here's a trap that people fall into all the time
19:17and I want to make sure that you guys at home
19:19know about it so it doesn't happen to you.
19:22The UV is not related to the temperature.
19:25You're just as likely to get fried on a cloudy, windy day
19:28as you are on a 35 degree scorcher.
19:31The way around this is to check your phone,
19:33look at the weather app
19:34and look at what the UV is doing
19:36before you go to the beach.
19:38Don't get caught out.
19:39Skin cancer rates are still rising,
19:42but it's no surprise.
19:44We look at sunscreen as being some sort of magic shield,
19:46but in reality,
19:48we're not good at putting it on,
19:49we're not good at reapplying
19:51and it lulls us into this false security
19:53that we're really looking after our skin
19:55when we're probably not.
19:57So here's my quick tips to keep you safe in the sun.
20:01Always use Factor 50
20:03and try to reapply ideally every two hours if you can.
20:07And don't just use sunscreen.
20:10If the UV is extremely high,
20:12maybe don't go out in the sun,
20:13but use hats, use rashes, use sunglasses.
20:17All of these things will keep you safe when you're in the sun.
20:22Protecting your eyes from that big fireball in the sky
20:25is as important as anything else.
20:27UV damage to the front of the eye
20:29can lead to things like cataracts
20:30and damage to the back of the eye
20:32can lead to permanent vision changes.
20:34Kids are more susceptible to damage
20:36because their lenses are clearer
20:38and that lets in more UV light
20:40to the back of the eye.
20:43So remember, when you're in the sun,
20:45you need glasses
20:46that meet the Australian standards for UV.
20:48Here you go, Dean.
20:50So those have UV 400,
20:52which are the best of the best lenses
20:54and they give you 100% protection
20:55against UVA and UVB rays.
20:58Ah!
20:59It's very easy.
21:01Designer sunglasses,
21:03you'll be cool,
21:03but your eyeballs won't be.
21:05Get something with proper UV protection.
21:10So these silly glasses that we put on kids
21:12can actually do more harm than good.
21:15The reason is,
21:15the lenses don't have the UV protection
21:17and they do cause dilation of the pupils,
21:20which makes more light go to the back of the eye
21:23and can cause more damage.
21:25So put them in the bin.
21:26I'm just parked over here, Kai.
21:29Cheers.
21:29Really appreciate it.
21:30In Australia, we've done a really good job
21:34in making rashies, hats and sunscreen
21:36part of our routine before we go to the beach.
21:39But we need to do the same thing for our eyes.
21:42If it's bright enough to wear sunscreen,
21:44it's bright enough to wear sunglasses.
21:47After all, you're going to want to see
21:48if there's a mad Scotsman
21:49about to come off his surfboard.
21:51Oh, I can feel the warmth on my skin.
21:58If you want to feel the warmth on your skin,
22:00spending more time by the ocean waves,
22:03Princess Cruises is giving you the chance
22:05to win a luxury cruise holiday.
22:10You could win the ultimate escape
22:12thanks to Princess Cruises.
22:14Imagine making memories on a 15-night cruise
22:16for two around the stunning South Pacific
22:18and New Zealand.
22:20There's plenty of time to relax
22:21on the elegant crown princess.
22:23Every day brings something new
22:25from tropical islands
22:26to world-class dining and entertainment.
22:29This incredible opportunity
22:30is just a few clicks away.
22:32Don't miss your chance to win.
22:34Terms and conditions apply.
22:36I'm so excited.
22:37It is that time again
22:38where one of Australia's most recognisable
22:40and, dare I say it, beloved faces
22:42tries not to lose their cool.
22:45Yes, it's time for The Box of Death.
22:54Tonight's brave soul has run crime syndicates,
22:58raised families and even suffered through buzzarounds.
23:02Only on TV, of course.
23:03Please welcome Guyton Grantley.
23:05Yeah.
23:05You know, I've got to say,
23:12I've always thought that you and I
23:14look like brother and sister.
23:16I agree with you.
23:17Yes.
23:18We should do some AI
23:19and just morph our faces together.
23:20Exactly.
23:24Normally this would be just a catch-up.
23:26I've got so much to talk to you about.
23:28Italy, for example,
23:30your incredible career,
23:31but we can do that later
23:33because we've got a few guests
23:37to introduce to you.
23:39I've heard.
23:40This is, of course, The Box of Death.
23:42There's something in there.
23:42We don't know what it is.
23:43You can go with it
23:44or you can hold Lara.
23:48Please turn around, Guyton Grantley,
23:49and be introduced
23:51to our gorgeous friend, Lara.
23:53She is the snake on the right.
23:55Oh, hi, Lara.
23:57Oh, wow.
23:58She's gorgeous.
23:59Oh, God.
24:01Guyton's going to be one of those.
24:03Yeah, I grew up in Queensland.
24:05Like, I grew up with a spider
24:06on my face one night.
24:07That's happened to me as well.
24:10And he didn't even ask for my number.
24:12Here.
24:12Oh, there it is.
24:13This is Henrietta.
24:15I actually want to make a feature film
24:16called Huntsman.
24:18Do you know they're the only spider
24:19that actually hunts?
24:21Every other spider sets up a web
24:22or a trap or some sort.
24:24Now, you have a huge choice on your hands.
24:29You can go with either of those
24:30or you can risk it all
24:33for the Box of Death.
24:35It's like a good heavy metal name.
24:42Like, Box of Death.
24:45I know.
24:46Hmm.
24:46It seems Guyton Grantley
24:48is not scared of spiders.
24:50He's not scared of snakes.
24:52So hopefully there's something
24:53terrifying in the Box of Death
24:56back after the break.
24:57This segment is brought to you
25:06by Bob Jane T-Mart's
25:07Best Tire Price Guarantee.
25:11Welcome back to Healthy, Wellbeing and Wise.
25:14Just before the break,
25:15we left legendary Australian actor
25:18Guyton Grantley
25:18staring down three unsavoury options.
25:22The snake, the spider
25:23or the mystery box of death.
25:27But don't worry, Guyton.
25:33This is a very professional outfit here.
25:35OK, yeah.
25:35We have ticked all the boxes
25:37and taken some precautions
25:38just in case things get
25:40a little bit dangerous.
25:41Maybe a little bit dirty.
25:43We've got a sanitation expert.
25:44Great.
25:45Yep.
25:46Yeah.
25:46OK.
25:47What's it going to be?
25:49Lara the python,
25:51Henrietta the spider
25:52or whatever is lurking
25:55beneath the box?
25:56Oh.
25:57Look, I don't think
26:01it's any surprise
26:02that I'm pretty keen
26:03for a surprise.
26:05Yes.
26:05So let's go
26:06the Box of Death.
26:07Yes, I love this.
26:11I'll get this for you.
26:12Ash, Ash.
26:14Oh.
26:15There's nothing there.
26:16The same thing is
26:17what we've got in store
26:18for you is too big
26:19for the box.
26:20Oh, wow.
26:20Too big for the box.
26:23Hey.
26:25Oh, cute.
26:27But its mouth is tied up
26:29so that means it is dangerous.
26:31Can I get a bit of cuddle?
26:32Yeah, absolutely.
26:33What's his name?
26:34This is Snappy Tom.
26:36Snappy.
26:37Just before we go on,
26:38you're so relaxed.
26:39The whole point of this
26:40is that you're freaking out
26:41and you can't even
26:42understand what I'm saying.
26:44Why don't we put
26:45all three of them on him
26:46and just see what happens?
26:47Well, the crew says
26:48we can do it.
26:49I suppose I'd better get
26:49your permission.
26:51Do you want to do all three?
26:52Let's do all three.
26:54What could possibly go wrong?
26:57Can you just sign here for us?
26:58Right.
26:59So everything goes to Chrissy?
27:01Is that what happens?
27:01I whispered at 50-50.
27:05Actually, that says
27:0590-10 in your favour.
27:07Okay, I'm getting
27:08a little nervous now.
27:08Oh, okay.
27:09It is actually happening
27:10right here in front of us.
27:11No, I'm actually
27:12getting really nervous now.
27:13Okay, we are going
27:14to start the call.
27:15It's on my head.
27:16It's on my head.
27:18Oh!
27:19Oh, my God.
27:19I have a line.
27:20Oh, my God.
27:21It's going to go at least.
27:21I don't know.
27:22Oh, in your eye.
27:24It's the stuff of nightmares.
27:26No, it's working.
27:27I am...
27:27You're panicking.
27:29Okay, this is...
27:29Yeah, no, okay.
27:30I'm good again.
27:31Can you please perform
27:32a Ron Weasley line
27:33from the stage play?
27:37Sunshine, daisies,
27:39marshmallow,
27:40turn this stupid,
27:41fat, yellow.
27:42You have been living
27:44in Italy until recently.
27:45It's a travesty
27:47that there is no such thing
27:48as pineapple on pizza
27:49in the entire country.
27:51There are Italian chefs,
27:53pizziolas,
27:54who are...
27:54You've got to, like,
27:55barbecue the pineapple.
27:57You've got to use prosciutto
27:58instead of, you know,
27:59crap ham.
28:00Like, it's done.
28:01Check it out.
28:02Look it up.
28:03When you order a coffee
28:04and they say,
28:05what name am I writing
28:06on the cup,
28:07do you just say John?
28:09James.
28:09Actually, I do say James.
28:10That's my middle name.
28:17It's real.
28:18It's real.
28:19It's whispering sweet nothings to me.
28:23Time is up.
28:24Ladies and gentlemen,
28:25put your hands together
28:26for the incredible guy,
28:27Grantley.
28:30That.
28:30Yeah, like,
28:34I mean,
28:34as tough as I pretend to be,
28:35like, it's...
28:36Yeah, you're shaking.
28:38It's scary, man.
28:39Yeah.
28:39These are the most dangerous
28:40spider in Australia
28:41through car accidents
28:42and heart attacks.
28:43Yes.
28:44Now, from facing fears
28:45to finding flair,
28:47up next,
28:48Chica is taking
28:49makeover nominee
28:50Tegan
28:51to pull together
28:52a wardrobe
28:53that lets her celebrate
28:55and enjoy
28:57her femininity.
28:58Hello, gorgeous Tegan.
29:01How are you?
29:02Now, we're going to go in here
29:03and do some shopping,
29:04but before we go in,

29:10feminine and gorgeous again.

29:12Okay, fantastic.
29:13Well, let's go inside
29:14and start shopping.
29:15Let's do it.
29:15Okay.
29:16Tegan, I would absolutely love
29:18you to meet Donna

29:45on the colours
29:46and the pattern.

29:48classic piece for you.
29:49Cute T-shirt underneath it
29:50or with a dress.
29:51I love that.
29:52Is there anything else here
29:52that's jumping out at you?
29:53I do like this top.
29:55I mean, that's the kind of top
29:56you could tie back
29:56with a cute pair of jeans.
29:58Do you like those pink
29:58bubblegum jeans?
29:59I'm willing to give them a go.
30:01Tegan?
30:01I don't know if I'd wear them.
30:02We can do another colour.
30:03It doesn't have to be pink.
30:04You could do blue
30:05or just denim.
30:06The linen pant.
30:07Or the linen pant.
30:07They'd look great
30:08with a linen pant.

30:11because I saw it
30:12and thought of you straight away

30:20Let's do it.
30:26Come on out, Tegan.
30:27Oh my gosh.
30:28Look at you.
30:30Do you feel beautiful?
30:31I do.
30:32I love the looseness.
30:33Do you like this bag?
30:34Yes, I do.
30:34I think it's a real cutie.
30:35Yeah, love the colour.
30:37Oh, and the denim jacket
30:38of course over the shoulders.
30:40Perfect.
30:41And the last thing
30:42I wanted to show you
30:43because I really think
30:44the versatility of this dress
30:45is going to be perfect for you.
30:47Yeah, that's very cute.
30:48I like that.
30:49I think that's
30:50a brilliant look on you.
30:51And you know,
30:51it's a good dress.
30:52You could still wear that
30:53to the BMX track
30:54and not feel out of place.
30:55But you could also dress it up
30:56for your girlfriends.
30:57How do you feel?
30:58Yeah, I love it.
30:59You're sexy?
30:59You're rocking it.
31:00Okay, Tegan,

31:01which is the one
31:02I am hoping you love.
31:05Ooh.
31:06Okay, what are we thinking?
31:07Now, I still don't like it.
31:09No, just the pattern.
31:10I like the cut.
31:11Let's take that off then.

31:20Yeah, I think we need to add.
31:20Something's missing, earrings.
31:22I mean, you have stolen my look.
31:23You've done the reverse of me.
31:25Love.
31:26I love that.
31:27Time for you to get changed.
31:29We're going to whip you off
31:29to hair and makeup.
31:30We're going to put together
31:31a reveal outfit for you.
31:32So, watch this face.
31:33I can't wait.
31:34It's so lovely to meet you, Sheridan.
31:43My pleasure.
31:44So, how long have you
31:44known Tegan for?
31:46Tegan and Gary moved in next door.
31:49When she moved there,
31:49she only had the two bigger boys
31:51and since then,
31:52she's had the two little boys.
31:53I claim there's a little bit
31:54of a daughter next door.
31:55Oh, I love that.
31:56And I am a little bit of a G-mart
31:58to her children.
32:00She's a wonderful mother.
32:01Life was very challenging for them.
32:03It's why it's special
32:03that we've been able
32:04to do this for her.
32:05And I have to say,
32:06when she walked in the door today,
32:07she had a smile already
32:08before we even began.
32:09I know.
32:10Should we have a look at her now?
32:12Yes, please.
32:12Okay, let's do it.
32:13Tegan, are you ready for us
32:14to see you?
32:15I sure am.
32:16Oh, look at you.
32:25You look amazing.
32:27I love this outfit.

32:33Oh, my God.
32:34You look beautiful.
32:37All right, let's do a little cheers
32:39to our gorgeous girl.
32:40Cheers.

32:46Thank you so much.
32:49You're welcome.
32:50It has been such a treat.
32:52You look amazing.
32:53It has been so lovely.
32:54To meet you too.
32:55Please go and enjoy
32:56your gorgeous, hot new look.
32:58Bye.
32:59See you.
33:00Bye.
33:03Oh, wow.
33:05Never underestimate
33:06the power of therapy.
33:07And by that, I mean retail therapy.
33:10We're going to let everyone
33:11have a little bit of a breather.
33:13And after the break,
33:14I'm going to be rolling up
33:16my sleeves
33:17for another
33:18Shortcut Queen recipe.
33:20You are going to make this.
33:22This is how easy it is.
33:23Hope you like fritters.
33:30This segment is brought to you
33:31by the Amy Driving Test.
33:34Lucky you're with Amy.
33:38Welcome back to Healthy,
33:39Welly and Wise.
33:40Now, insurance.
33:42It is not glamorous,
33:44but it is essential.
33:47Oh, my God, have I?
33:48I haven't paid my car insurance.
33:50Today, we are cutting through
33:51the fine print.
33:53Home, car, life.
33:55We've put all of your questions
33:57to an expert
33:57and you're going to want
33:59and you're going to want
33:59these answers
34:00before the next fender bender,
34:02leaky roof
34:03or, heaven forbid,
34:05meteor shower.
34:11Hi, I'm Stephen Hussey
34:12from Amy Insurance
34:13and there are no dumb questions.
34:17Jemima H. asks,
34:18If someone is driving my car
34:19and they crash it,
34:20whose insurance pays?
34:22Well, I'd firstly start by saying
34:24don't lend them your car again.
34:27Most insurers will cover
34:28all drivers that you give permission
34:30to drive your vehicle.
34:31There sometimes can be
34:32some exclusions.
34:33That's where it's really important
34:34just to make sure
34:35that you understand
34:36the terms and conditions
34:36that come with that insurance.
34:38But generally,
34:38the policyholder is the one
34:39that's responsible
34:40for paying the excess
34:41for that claim.
34:42Isabella M. asks,
34:43I don't really have much stuff
34:45that's worth anything.
34:46Why would it be worth me insuring?
34:48Isabella, you might say
34:49you don't have a lot of things
34:50that are worth insuring,
34:51but, you know,
34:52I can assure you
34:53if you had to go
34:54and replace all of those items,
34:55it can very quickly add up.
34:57Eliza G. asks,
34:58What's the most memorable thing
34:59you've ever seen someone claim for?
35:01One just recently
35:02that really sticks out
35:04where a young couple
35:05had just purchased
35:05a new property
35:06before they even had a chance
35:08to move in,
35:09had a burst flexi hose,
35:10which pumped hot water
35:11through their property
35:12for about four or five days
35:14while there was no one there.
35:15There was water streaming
35:16out the front door
35:17and steam everywhere.
35:19The place had already started
35:20filling with mould.
35:21Not a great experience for them
35:23and took us quite a while
35:24to get them back on their feet
35:25and get all those repairs completed.
35:27Grace M. asks,
35:28If I have solar panels,
35:29do they automatically fall
35:31under the protection
35:31of my house insurance?
35:33Most insurers
35:34will cover solar panels
35:35as part of the home.
35:36They are a fixed outdoor item
35:38to your property,
35:38so they do fall under
35:40your home building
35:41insurance cover.
35:42Ravi M. asks,
35:43If my car is hit
35:44by an uninsured driver,
35:45am I just out of luck?
35:47There are definitely
35:47car insurance policies
35:49that will cover you
35:49for not-at-fault accidents.
35:51Make sure you get
35:52as many details
35:53of the other driver
35:54as possible.
35:55Take photos
35:56of the accident scene.
35:58If you are unlucky enough
35:59to have an accident,
36:00hopefully you'll have insurance
36:01and you're lucky
36:02you're with Amy.
36:05Is it too much?
36:08Welcome back
36:09into our little kitchen.
36:10I'm so thrilled
36:10to be here with you, Ash.
36:12As am I.
36:13Now, have you bought this yet?
36:14I'm a shortcut queen.
36:15My book is now available.
36:17We're doing a recipe out of it.
36:18Take your mind back
36:19to COVID times.
36:20I mean, I know
36:21that it's the C word,
36:22but I'm going to use it.
36:23We all lost our minds,
36:24but we all gained
36:25a waffle maker.
36:26There's only so many
36:27sweet things you can have.
36:28I am going to resurrect
36:30those waffle makers
36:32that are sitting
36:33in your cupboard.
36:34I know they are,
36:34that you used once
36:35on a Sunday
36:36and then never used again.
36:38Corn fritters
36:39in the waffle maker.
36:42We did waffle
36:42a bit yesterday.
36:44Hey!
36:46I like my fritters
36:47to be very, very corny,
36:48like I like my men.
36:50There is a lot
36:51of corn in here.
36:52You're not a cook.
36:52Are you confident?
36:54Absolutely not.
36:55Yeah, great.
36:55You are going to make this.
36:56This is how easy it is.
36:57Crack an egg.
36:58In there?
36:59Normally I would do it
37:00separately,
37:00but we're not.
37:00We're going to do it
37:01exactly like you would
37:02do it at home
37:02with a hangover
37:03and two kids going,
37:05I'm hungry!
37:06Go!
37:06Is there a shell in there?
37:07Yeah, that's why
37:08I like to do it
37:09in a separate bowl.
37:11Spring onion.
37:12In.
37:13Save some
37:13for a little bit of garnish.
37:15Self-raising flour
37:16to give it that
37:17in, in.
37:19Go.
37:19This in too?
37:20Yep.
37:20Corn flour gives it
37:21the crunch.
37:22Yes!
37:23Bicarb soda,
37:24which also adds
37:25the puff.
37:26Some salt
37:27because we love salt.
37:29What's this, milk?
37:30Yes.
37:31Pour that in as well.
37:32Yep.
37:32Give that a good mix.
37:34Go for it, Ash.
37:34This is going to end up
37:35everywhere.
37:35Go.
37:36Dad, will you play
37:36Lego with me later?
37:38I've got a sore head.
37:39My head is hot.
37:41You know, you can do it.
37:42I can do it.
37:42Even when you're being harassed.
37:43I know.
37:44Okay, that's good?
37:45That's it.
37:45Okay, great.
37:46This is hot.
37:47All right, now spoon that in.
37:48You're a good boy.
37:49Keep on piling.
37:50Not too much though
37:51because it'll all come out.
37:52You said that after
37:53I do a big lump.
37:53No, no, it's okay.
37:54Yeah, push it.
37:55Go.
37:56We're going to do
37:56a bit of magic of television.
37:58That's what they look like.
37:59Look.
38:00Beautiful.
38:00Died and gone to heaven.
38:02Bang.
38:05I'm going to make you
38:06the perfect bite.
38:07Yes, please.
38:07Look at that.
38:09All right, you ready?
38:10I'm so ready.
38:11Come on.
38:12Oh my goodness.
38:14Okay.
38:14You did that.
38:16That is today's
38:17Short Cut Queen hack.
38:19Oh my God.
38:19Here's my book.
38:20Everything in here
38:22is in here.
38:23Next up,
38:24we see the final reveal
38:26of Amy's room rescue.
38:28Oh my goodness.
38:30It doesn't even look
38:30like the same layout room.
38:32It's good, isn't it?
38:32Oh my God.
38:33I'm so happy.
38:34See you soon.
38:43This segment is brought
38:45to you by
38:46Oz Design.
38:47Furniture for life.
38:51Welcome back to
38:52Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.
38:53We have reached
38:54the finale
38:55of today's
38:56DIY project.
38:58And once again,
38:59I'm joined by
38:59our titan on the tools.
39:01Amy, you are
39:02helping a family
39:03make a tiny
39:05little room
39:06useful and beautiful again.
39:07You must get
39:08such a buzz from it.
39:09I do because
39:09it is such a privilege
39:11that they let me
39:12into their home
39:13some random
39:14and just to
39:15take everything out
39:16and completely
39:17redo the space.
39:18And there was
39:19a lot of challenges
39:20with this one.
39:21A, it was tiny.
39:22Their couch
39:23was in front of a door.
39:24The mantelpiece
39:25was rotted
39:25and we only had
39:26a couple of days.
39:27I can't wait
39:28to see
39:29how you've
39:30resuscitated
39:31this room.
39:32Let's have a look.
39:34Back at the farm,
39:35there's been
39:36tremendous progress.
39:38Colour
39:39drenched
39:40this whole room.
39:42It actually
39:43feels bigger now
39:43and it's
39:45kind of
39:45the in thing
39:46at the moment
39:46but what else
39:47is coming in
39:48is timber beading
39:49and moulding
39:50like this
39:51and it's come
39:51back in fashion.
39:52That's why
39:53I'm still
39:54keeping my skinny
39:55jeans
39:55because I know
39:56in another 10 years
39:57I'll be back.
39:59The next job
40:00is ripping out
40:01the old stained carpet
40:02then installing
40:02a new one.
40:05I know
40:06this family
40:06needs this place
40:07to relax
40:07and carpet
40:08is hard
40:09to beat
40:09when it comes
40:10to warmth
40:10and comfort.
40:12I'm installing
40:13a wool carpet
40:14because it's
40:14fire resistant
40:15and a natural
40:16beige colour
40:17will complement
40:18the eucalyptus walls
40:19perfectly.
40:26So the current
40:27mantelpiece
40:28has seen better days.
40:29It's got a fair bit
40:30of rot in it.
40:31I could have
40:32taken it off
40:33and replaced it
40:33with a new one
40:34but I thought
40:34it would be
40:35easier,
40:36faster
40:36and look
40:37a lot better
40:37if I actually
40:39box out
40:39some pine
40:40and frame
40:41over the top
40:41and paint it
40:42a beautiful
40:43stained walnut colour.
40:46Because pine
40:47is naturally
40:48quite bright
40:49I like to do
40:50three coats
40:50to achieve
40:51a rich
40:52and even colour.
40:54I feel like
40:55I'm under
40:55a bit of pressure
40:56here.
40:56I've got an audience
40:57they're definitely
40:58judging me.
40:59Apart from the
41:04fireplace
41:04I'm really
41:05going for
41:06softness
41:06all round
41:07including the
41:08windows.
41:09This is my
41:10secret weapon.
41:11The shears
41:11bring so much
41:12softness to the
41:13room
41:13and running them
41:15on the entire
41:16wall
41:16look at that
41:18look at that.
41:20Finally
41:21it's time to get
41:22the furniture in.
41:24Ah
41:24look at that
41:25beautiful mirror
41:26nice.
41:27These are another
41:28secret weapon
41:29they're an ottoman
41:31but because we're
41:32in such a small
41:33space
41:34they're also full
41:35of storage
41:36how good
41:38just because we've
41:39got another
41:40cabinet going
41:41there
41:42I'm sticking to
41:48warm wood tones
41:49soft white
41:51and green
41:51so all the beauty
41:53of outside
41:53is reflected
41:54on the inside
41:55it's actually
41:56fitting quite well
41:57sometimes I think
41:58to myself
41:59I actually know
42:01what I'm doing
42:01but we'll see
42:02last but not least
42:04my own custom
42:06made creation
42:06all right
42:08mantelpiece is
42:09done
42:10I'm super stoked
42:11with how the space
42:11turned out
42:12but really the only
42:13opinion that matters
42:14is the homeowners
42:15so let's bring them in
42:16no peeking
42:18keep your eyes
42:19closed
42:20and just
42:20remember what
42:21this space
42:22looked like
42:22before
42:23couple of stains
42:24on the carpet
42:25there was a huge
42:27couch
42:27blocking a door
42:28to your beautiful
42:29outside
42:30the paint job
