00:003.30 p.m. Eastern, Coach, let's get into the SEC.
00:03It's Texas A&M on the road taking on Missouri.
00:05This game is right around a touchdown favorite, 6.5 to 7,
00:07depending where you're shopping at, and a total of 48.5.
00:10A&M is unbeaten in the SEC right now, but every game still matters.
00:14You can't slip up.
00:14You'll find yourself out of the SEC championship game
00:16and out of the college football playoff.
00:18Talk about A&M going on the road and their chances against Missouri today.
00:22Well, and I don't think you can ever feel really good picking against Missouri.
00:26Great coaching staff, a very good football team,
00:29but they're down to their third quarterback,
00:31a true freshman quarterback starting his very first game.
00:35And so there's something to be said for that
00:37because I know that you can do a lot of things against a team like Texas A&M,
00:43the number one team in sacks in the country.
00:45They can put pressure on the quarterback.
00:47They can score over 40 points five times.
00:51I think Ahmaud Hardy has to get the ball a ton of times for Missouri,
00:55but this is a game of odds,
00:57and the odds of a third-string quarterback beating the number one team in the SEC
01:02are slim to none.
01:03So I got Texas A&M to cover the points.
01:07Coach, you could talk about maybe the bye week,
01:10you know, disrupting the timing of this team.
01:13You know, they were on a heater,
01:15and they knocked off LSU a couple of weeks ago.
01:18What can he do coming out of this bye week
01:20to make sure the consistency is there offensively,
01:23especially on the road?
01:24Well, you know what?
01:26I'm going to say this.
01:26Every coach needs to understand where they are
01:29in the progression of their team.
01:32Bye weeks late in the season like this,
01:35they're mostly recovery weeks.
01:36Get well.
01:37Get people that are hurt back on the field.
01:39You've had so much repetition over the weeks of football,
01:43you're not worried about taking a few days off.
01:45So the biggest thing was get your kids well,
01:49make sure you got fresh legs,
01:50and don't go out there in the off week and practice too much
01:54because the big thing is to have a great game plan,
01:57and that's what the key was for Texas A&M.
