00:00Good evening. Cloudy skies to come for many of us through this evening if you are heading out for a fireworks display.
00:06And we could see some rain as well. But wherever you are, it will be another mild evening.
00:11We've got southwesterly winds bringing in that mild air, but they're also bringing in a series of weather fronts through the next few days.
00:17So further spells of rain to come, but also some drier weather.
00:21And we have seen some pretty clear skies across northern areas and eastern areas of the country through today.
00:26But as I said, the skies will turn much cloudier through this evening as this weather front brings a spell of wet weather and a lot of low cloud across northern and eastern areas in particular.
00:36Further south and west, it will turn much clearer as the night goes on.
00:40And that will allow for some mist and fog to develop and also for temperatures to fall away a little bit lower this evening or by tomorrow morning than they have done lately.
00:47Down into the single figures, but still a little above average for this point in November.
00:53And there will be plenty of clear skies across western areas through first thing on Saturday.
00:58Further north and east, though, still a bit of a drizzly, murky start, but it should brighten up here as well as the day goes on.
01:03So plenty of sunny spells to come.
01:05The winds are still relatively light, but we do have slightly fresher air.
01:09So temperatures are not going to be quite as high as they have been lately, but still reaching 14 or 15 degrees in the best of any sunshine,
01:16particularly across eastern areas where the winds were that much lighter.
01:19But it's across the west, particularly northern Ireland, where the winds will really pick up through Saturday evening.
01:24We've got some wet weather arriving across parts of Scotland as well as potentially into southwestern areas of England.
01:31And that wet weather will become a little bit more widespread as we head into the start of next week.
01:36But the eastern areas of the country, particularly eastern areas of England, should stay clear of that wet weather through Sunday.
01:42And with clear skies overnight, there's potential for a touch of grass frost across eastern areas.
01:47But many areas just falling down into the slightly lower single figures.
01:51So a little bit of a colder night to come on Saturday night than we have been used to lately.
01:57As I said, western areas likely to see some spells, potentially quite heavy rain through Sunday, particularly across north and western areas of Scotland into the southwest as well.
02:05There's a little bit of uncertainty in where exactly we'll see the heaviest rain, but it will likely linger across south and eastern areas of England through Sunday afternoon.
02:16And northwestern areas could become that much brighter.
02:18But it will be quite a blustery afternoon with temperatures still around 11 or 12 degrees.
02:24But wherever you are, it's still relatively mild for the time of year, just not quite as mild as it has been lately.
02:30So further spells of wet weather to come, it's important to keep up to date with your forecast.
