00:00Thursday games can always be interesting and specifically Thursday night football games where
00:04it's between two division rivals. That's what you got last night in the Mile High City. The Denver
00:08Broncos, a 10-7 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Sure, the Denver Broncos will take that 8-2 now
00:14in the season, 5-0 at home. The Las Vegas Raiders just playing out the string at this point, but it
00:19was ugly all the way through. Bo Nix, 16 of 28 for only 150 yards and two interceptions, a passer
00:25rating of 54.2 and a QBR of 27.2. Geno Smith, 16 completions, 26 passing attempts, 143, no
00:36touchdowns and an interception, a QBR of 13 and a passer rating of 60. This is the guy last week
00:42that threw four touchdown passes, three to Brock Bowers. Watching this game, I'm like, yeah, Brock
00:46Bowers is probably going to have a pretty good game. How about three targets, one catch for 31 yards,
00:50and that's it. You had no offense last night. And by the way, the Denver Broncos defense,
00:55they are sack masters out there. They got after Geno Smith six times. They got him yesterday. An ugly
01:01performance, but the Raiders did cover that spread, Joe. That's all that matters, Donnie. And quite
01:09honestly, if it wasn't for the blocked punt that ricocheted off a guy's helmet and set, of course,
01:17them up at the Broncos at the 12-yard line, which is ultimately where they got the final three points
01:22of the game. They might still be playing this game, Donnie, right now, this morning. That is how
01:27bad both of these offenses looked last night in this spot here. And of course, the Raiders had a
01:34chance to tie it up there in their final possession. And yeah, well, their kicker couldn't make a field
01:40goal. So game over. And thank goodness for that, because otherwise we would have to stay up later and
01:44watch that thing.
