00:00As the governor of California once said, who was Arnold Schwarzenegger,
00:03go, Chargers, go.
00:0620-9 victory last night over the Las Vegas Raiders on the road to take control of the AFC West.
00:12And it was over early.
00:13It felt like Geno Smith throwing an early interception, cashing in for some points,
00:1710-3 at the end of the first quarter, 17-6 at the break.
00:20And then just like in game number one,
00:22the offenses really fell apart in the second half as the Chargers just waited out the Vegas Raiders.
00:26Why? Geno Smith was 24-43 for 180 yards, no touchdowns, and three costly interceptions.
00:35You can't do that against a hardball team.
00:36They win going away 20-9 last night.
00:40Yeah, and it wasn't a great game by Herbert or that offense in any stretch here.
00:46I mean, he had some decent numbers when it was all said and done.
00:50But, I mean, the Chargers only scored three points in the second half, Donnie.
00:54They did a lot of that damage in the first half, and they didn't exactly run the ball well either.
01:01I mean, Harris and Hampton, I think they only had 52 yards rushing on 16 carries total.
01:07So, they only went, I think, three of 10 on third down.
01:11It was not a, you know, it wasn't a great offensive performance.
01:15But when you're playing against Geno Smith and you have a legit defense, Geno can't figure out what color jerseys his teammates wear.
01:25And he usually ends up throwing the ball to the other team, which he did not only on the first possession,
01:30but then did it twice more there before it was all said and done.
01:34You don't have to do a lot when Geno Smith is playing for you as well.
01:37You don't have to do a lot when Geno Smith is playing for you as well.
