00:00What happened to those Pittsburgh Steelers last night?
00:02It was only a week ago that we were saying, you know what?
00:04Pittsburgh might have resurrected their season, now sitting again at 5-3.
00:07Big win over the AFC-leading Indianapolis Colts.
00:10Could this be the start of something great where they really pressured Daniel Jones,
00:14got them, and forced a lot of turnovers?
00:16Fast forward to Sunday night football, taking on the Chargers.
00:18Now, granted, also, the Steelers were getting two and a half to three points,
00:22depending where you're shopping at game time.
00:23You thought this game might be close, and it was early,
00:253-2 at the end of the first quarter.
00:27But the one thing that you should have a major advantage of is
00:30the offensive line for the Los Angeles Chargers is banged up.
00:34You have hundreds of millions of dollars on that defensive line for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
00:38You should be able to attack and get to the quarterback.
00:40And technically, Joe, they did.
00:42They got five sacks.
00:43But the Pittsburgh Steelers' offense was so abysmal, it didn't matter.
00:4725-10 was the final score, and quite frankly, Joe, it was worse than that.
00:51After the first quarter, I don't know what the heck the Steelers were doing,
00:54and they got hammered by two touchdowns last night.
00:58Yeah, I mean, just not good.
01:00I mean, Aaron Rodgers was not good.
01:02The defense, to the Steelers' credit, wasn't terrible.
01:06Like you said, they got home plenty of times.
01:09But the problem was, they were on the field for the majority of that game.
01:14I mean, if it wasn't a three and out, it was Aaron Rodgers fumbling the ball in the end zone for a safety.
01:19Or, I mean, he single-handedly gave and was responsible for the Chargers scoring at least nine points because that interception in the second quarter that sailed on him,
01:30they turned around and hit McConkie for a 15-yard touchdown, and that was the end of that.
01:35So they scored on his turnovers twice in that game, and that was really the difference in it.
01:41They couldn't get anything offensively.
01:43By the way, it was 25-3.
01:45That was an empty netter with about two minutes left in a game when it was already over that Pittsburgh ends up scoring.
01:51But it was just dominating performance by the Chargers' offensive line that, while they couldn't protect them the whole night,
02:01they did more than enough to get over 100 yards rushing, which I don't think anybody saw coming, Donnie.
