Sacred Clan opens store in Tynwald Mills

An online business has made the leap from screen to storefront with the opening of a brand-new base in the west of the Isle of Man. It offers a witchy, magical vibe with plenty of stock.

00:00So here we are at the amazing, fabulous opening of Sacred Clan.

00:04I'm not sure if you can see behind me right now, but it is amazing in here.

00:09So Claire, do you want to tell me a little bit then about the process of opening Sacred

00:14Clan and how it's been born?

00:16Yeah, so Sacred Clan is something that we started as an idea coming up two years ago,

00:21I think.

00:22And a year ago, literally a year ago, we launched online and we're an online brand only.

00:28It's kind of a spin-off from Element Isle.

00:30It's a slightly witchier, darker vibe or a bit more magic and a bit more, yeah,

00:36it captures something a little bit more different to Element Isle.

00:39And so over the year, we found it's been so popular.

00:43We knew it needed a home of its own and we wanted to create something completely unique

00:48and completely special, an immersive experience, really.

00:51So we've kind of gone to town and this is what we've created.

00:54What can people expect from Sacred Clan?

00:57Because obviously you've got Element Isle, even though they share similarities, don't

01:01they?

01:01But they are completely different in what they are.

01:04I mean, if you're next door in that shop and then you're here, it's two completely

01:07different worlds, is it?

01:08What can we expect from Sacred Clan?

01:10So Element Isle, obviously most people are familiar with Element Isle, but with Sacred

01:15Clan, the jewellery and the designs are kind of ten talismans for the modern world.

01:22It's like trying to step back into another time and reconnect with something older and

01:27something primal, I guess, that's also in all of us and trying to reconnect to an older,

01:32simpler time.

01:33And I think that's where part of the spin-off from the shop came from and wanting to feel

01:38like an old apothecary or something that you find down an alleyway in the 1800s and it's

01:44like a mad curiosity shop.

01:46So yeah, that's the kind of feel we wanted to go for.

01:49And it's not just jewellery, we're doing clothing, we're doing homeware and other gifts as well.
