00:009-1-1
00:06I just got home and I opened the door and my husband's dead on the floor.
00:13Is he awake?
00:16I don't know. I can't do it. I can't look.
00:20Okay. Can you take a deep breath for me and go in there and see if he's awake?
00:25Do you feel like that's something you'd be able to do?
00:32I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it.
00:35Okay.
00:46Every suspect accused of a crime has the right to remain silent.
00:50Many agree to be interrogated anyway, but they can stop the interview at any moment, making it a race against time.
01:00Justice hangs in the balance.
01:02That morning, I was dispatched to a call of what's called an investigated death.
01:19That's where someone dies outside of a doctor's care.
01:21And when I showed up at the house, Kelly Baker was sitting on the front step side of the house.
01:29Kelly told me that she had come over to the house expecting her husband, Randy, not to be home and at work.
01:38She had gone in the house and had found her husband on the floor.
01:44And he was deceased.
01:46When I went into the home, I found Randy.
01:54He had a little puddle of blood underneath him.
01:58I could see Randy's phone and he had some fast food bag and a drink cup that had spilled from a local restaurant.
02:08He had purchased a meal, it appears, and then fallen on the ground and hit his head.
02:13Kelly told me that Randy was suffering from some serious health conditions and she thought Randy might have passed away due to some cardio issues.
02:23They announced that there were two bullets in Randy's body.
02:40One was in his skull and another had been shot into his chest.
02:44Once we found out that was a homicide, we were really in the dark at this point in time as to who had shot Randy Baker.
03:00I always described him as like a big teddy bear because he was 6'5", like 260 pounds.
03:08So to everyone, he seemed very intimidating, but to me, he was so loving.
03:16Every night, my entire childhood, we would write notes to each other before bed.
03:22So I would leave it on my nightstand and he would switch it.
03:27Most of them were about how proud he was of me and I'm going to love you no matter what.
03:32My dad was actually very quiet about his past, but what I do know is once his mom died, he was 18 years old, and that led him down the road of alcohol and drugs.
03:47My aunt, Carol, told me she's the one who took him to rehab and he finally got clean before I was born.
03:55And that's when he decided to become a drug alcohol addiction counselor.
04:00He graduated with his master's when I was four or five.
04:03So growing up, you saw the light in him helping other men, and you could tell it was a huge validation for him and love and passion.
04:25Kelly revealed that they had been married for many years, but now they were separated, and that she was living with a lady named Terry Lager in a town just south of Greeley.
04:38But that she would come to the home during the day and operate her hairstylist business that she ran out of the basement.
04:45We walked through the house and asked Kelly if anything looked out of place or if anything was missing.
04:54She said there was nothing else in the house that seemed out of place.
04:59But she pointed out that she couldn't find Randy's car that he would have driven home in when he returned home from work.
05:05I contacted his co-workers to see if possibly someone had given Randy a ride home, but was told no that he hadn't.
05:15They collected video from the treatment center he worked at and found what time he left work.
05:33And then I found the drive-thru video from the fast food restaurant, and that showed that Randy had driven himself home.
05:41The restaurant's about a 10-15 minute drive from his house on the other side of Greeley.
05:45And based on the evidence that we have, that Randy likely drove home, went into the home, and was shot and killed.
05:53The restaurant's about a 10-15 minute drive from his home, and was shot and killed all the way.
06:15What's always important is when that occasion comes to reveal how he died, to observe and
06:29document the reactions of the person you're talking to.
06:45Okay.
06:46And what time did you get out of there?
06:495.30?
06:51Okay.
06:525.45 at the latest, and I walked out with my client.
06:58Did you go anywhere, did you go out at all, or anywhere else?
07:01I stopped and knocked out before I went.
07:03Before you went home?
07:05To Terry's house.
07:06Okay.
07:07Alright.
07:08So you're separated, what was the reason for the separation?
07:12And he was very sick, and he'd been very sick for a long time.
07:17He had cardiomyopathy, and he was diagnosed in 03.
07:21The doctor just gave him five years to live and make the best of it, and that was in 2003.
07:28So we're in 2017.
07:30Uh-huh.
07:31He'd been in and out of the hospital several times, just very weak, very tired, very grouchy.
07:41And I go tell him, don't call me a bitch.
07:46You know, I'm taking care of you, I'm feeding you, I'm taking care of your clothes, your house, your car.
07:53And then I just said at that point, I'm done.
07:58Initially, you're thinking, well, maybe he is grumpy because he's sick or something like that, but she's basically putting her dead husband in a bad light, which is the last thing I think someone in that situation would do.
08:14And I was really surprised by that.
08:21Did you have any kind of weapons in the house, firearms or anything like that?
08:27No.
08:28No.
08:29Do you own any kind of firearm?
08:30No.
08:31Okay.
08:32So I take that back there.
08:35I have two 90 millimeters and a shotgun, and it's a chariot, and I took them out because I was afraid that Randy would do something to hurt me.
08:50Okay.
08:51Why, I'm not trying to be rude, why would you answer that you didn't have any if you had three?
09:00Well, you're kind of freaking me out.
09:03I guess I didn't realize there'd be a lot of questions about my personal life and stuff.
09:13Did Randy pass away from a heart?
09:16Probably.
09:17There are a lot of questions, and that's why I'm asking so many.
09:21Yeah.
09:22Because stuff has come to light since then.
09:28Do I live in a train?
09:30Am I in trouble?
09:32Right now, that's what I'm saying.
09:33I'm just trying to get information about this, okay?
09:36Okay.
09:37In this county, it's more often than not expected that you have guns, and so a question like that is innocuous.
09:54And yet, for some reason, Kelly opted to initially deny that there were any firearms.
10:00And you said you took them because you were concerned that he would do something to you, or him, or both, or what do you think?
10:07Both.
10:08That made me make a statement that if you ever found out I was with somebody, he would kill me, them, and himself.
10:17Okay.
10:21And since the split up, have you started seeing anybody or anything?
10:25No.
10:26Do you know if Randy started seeing anybody?
10:28No.
10:29Okay.
10:33Can I just wait in here for a second?
10:34Sure.
10:35Do you need a bathroom, or coffee, or water, or anything?
10:37No.
10:38All right.
10:49Kelly?
10:50Hi, I'm John.
10:51How are you?
10:52How are you?
10:53Good job.
10:54Just a quick introduction.
10:55I'm a detective at the police department.
10:58Just have a bunch of stuff to follow up on.
11:01Were the car missing and those types of things?
11:03His phone can offer some answers to us.
11:07And what I'm asking you as the person who pays the bill on this phone and kind of the owner of this phone is if you would consent for us to go through this phone.
11:16Yeah.
11:17Okay.
11:18Would you allow us to do the same with your phone?
11:20I have a question.
11:21I have a question.
11:22I don't know if you're dead on my wife.
11:26Are you under arresting us?
11:28No, you're not under arrest.
11:29We're doing an investigation.
11:31Okay.
11:32Okay.
11:33You're not under arrest.
11:34I'm just sorry, I don't...
11:37I understand.
11:38But you...
11:39Okay.
11:40And I want to explain to you.
11:41The coroner has ruled that the manner of Randy's death is a homicide.
11:52To me, he was my protector.
11:56He always tried to tell me, like, I am proud of you.
11:59And I just remember he would call me at least once a week and be like, life's hard, Betty, but you're amazing.
12:06Like, I am so proud of you.
12:10Ugh.
12:11In days when my husband and I are fighting and arguing about something stupid, I would call him and he'd be like, well, this is marriage.
12:20He just always spoke to my heart.
12:22And that's what I miss.
12:24Being a mom and a wife's really hard, but...
12:33He made me feel like I could do anything.
12:54Okay, your husband is a victim of a homicide.
13:01Okay?
13:02So that is why I'm asking a lot of tough questions right now.
13:05And that is why I'm going to ask you for your phone.
13:08Okay?
13:09So...
13:11I'm sorry to be the person that has to tell you that.
13:14However, uh...
13:16It's sometimes, it's just, it's not the fun part of my job, but it's what we do.
13:26I love you.
13:28She appeared to start crying.
13:32However, Detective John Kinney would notice no tears.
13:36I was extremely suspicious of her at that point.
13:42Do I have to continue? Do I have to keep going?
13:50I can't force you to do anything.
13:53Okay?
13:54Okay?
14:11Kelly, the reason that I want to ask you these questions is because I think that you could provide some insight to who did this to him.
14:19Hey, take as many as you need to remember.
14:24Take as many as you need and wait a little more.
14:34I will try.
14:38So, I know you don't want to answer the question about if you've been seeing anyone or doing anything like that.
14:49eventually someone says something and we figure out who it is. So is there someone?
14:59We have Terry's brother, you want to break her?
15:12Okay, so it's kind of part of the reason for your breakup. So it happened after. I'll be right back.
15:29It just seemed like she was telling a lot of small lies that she didn't need to.
15:36That raises big red flags when you're investigating a case.
15:40It leads one to think, what else hasn't she been truthful about?
15:59Do you want to answer some of the follow-up questions that I have?
16:09Okay? Okay.
16:12All right, well, we can certainly follow up. We can certainly do that.
16:16I will tell you this. As part of the investigation, I'm going to seize your cell phone.
16:20If you can't have it, all right, we'll be taking it.
16:23And we'll ask her to get us a little else into it.
16:27She's really apprehensive about Detective Kenny taking her cell phone.
16:31She essentially just shoved it across the table.
16:39There are things that aren't adding up. We were all wondering if she was, in fact, involved.
16:44It's a long day, and then we've done the line on you. Okay? I'll be in touch, and once we get the phone done, I'll be able to do that here.
17:10It may pan out down the road that Kelly has nothing to do with this.
17:15But she's raising her hand saying, look at me as a suspect, and we need to clear her of any wrongdoing.
17:22Carol said that she had been in the house the night before, as she cared for the dog while Randy was at work, but had left prior to Randy coming in.
17:40We were hoping Carol Baker gives us insight into what happened to Randy Baker.
17:56I'm going to shake your hand, but my name's Mike.
18:00The reason we asked you to come down is, one, we just started to check in, let me see how things are going.
18:06But for the most part, it's kind of a...
18:08It's a wuton, quite honestly.
18:12Mitchell, the evening of Tuesday, August 15th. Do you have any recollection of what time you left the house?
18:21I went over there at 6.30, and I was there five minutes at the most.
18:25I just went in there, got the laundry, put the dog away, and then that was it.
18:28I always helped out with everything, with my new brother being sick, and...
18:32And it's at 6.35, 6.40. Where'd you go from there?
18:36I went over to my aunt's house, not very far from there.
18:40I met my handicapped, and I spent the night with her.
18:43Did you see anybody suspicious in the neighborhood? Did you see any cars?
18:47No.
18:48Okay.
18:49But I was in a hurry to get back, because, you know, I didn't want to leave her too long.
18:54Alright. Did the door stay open while you were in the house?
18:57No. I'm not positive.
19:00But since I got older, I can't remember things.
19:03Part of this investigation is looking at cell phones, so I'm going to have to take a cell phone.
19:08Yeah.
19:09I'm sure Kelly told you we took her just for a little while.
19:11It's next in line, it's all.
19:13Yeah.
19:14Carol was, by all appearances, extremely helpful in answering any questions with law enforcement.
19:20At this point, we have no indication that she was involved.
19:23But let's not turn our backs on anyone.
19:26At this point in time, the entire city of Greeley is a potential suspect.
19:31Do you have a card?
19:32Yeah.
19:33They learned that both Carol and Kelly deleted their cell phone text history the day that Randy Bakers murdered.
19:34Randy Bakers murdered.
19:35But even if it's deleted, a lot of times things are going to happen.
19:37They learned that both Carol and Kelly deleted their cell phone text history the day that Randy Bakers murdered.
19:41Randy Bakers murdered.
19:42But even if it's deleted, a lot of times things are still on there.
19:48In the coming days, we would recover a lot of cell phone data.
19:49What I'm finding is Carol and Kelly had an extremely close connection.
19:55It was astronomical.
19:56The number of text messages exchanged between the two people.
19:57It was astronomical.
19:58The number of text messages exchanged between the two people.
19:59It was astronomical.
20:00The number of text messages exchanged between the two in any given day.
20:01It was astronomical.
20:02It was astronomical.
20:03The number of text messages exchanged between the two in any given day.
20:07And they would disparage Randy.
20:08Carol helped support Kelly's hatred.
20:09As soon as we would recover a lot of cell phone data.
20:11What I'm finding is Carol and Kelly had an extremely close connection.
20:22It was astronomical.
20:23The number of text messages exchanged between the two in any given day.
20:32And they would disparage Randy.
20:34Carol helped support Kelly's hatred and these two little hens would just bicker about Randy and it was upsetting.
20:45I was struck by a couple of their text messages.
20:49Around the end of July, Carol sent a phone number to Kelly and that phone number comes back to a person named Kelly Raisley, who goes by the moniker Grizz.
21:00And it turns out Kelly Raisley is Carol Baker's son.
21:08I learned that he had recently ended a prison sentence in Greeley and was out of custody living in the Denver metro area.
21:19There was conversations just outright without hiding his name.
21:23There's comments like, yes, he'll do it. I promise you he'll do it.
21:32Talks of he'll do it for $10,000 or a Harley Davidson.
21:37There was discussions showing that Grizz was coming up to Greeley to collect the motorcycle after Randy was killed.
21:46There's a ton of evidence pointing towards his involvement in the conspiracy to commit murder.
21:51It appears he was intimately involved in this homicide and Kelly and Carol were behind all this.
21:56I've never seen anything like it where someone's own sister and wife conspire to kill him and get his nephew to do it.
22:14It was huge, but I was still lacking in certain evidence that Grizz was our actual trigger man.
22:25It was frustrating at that point.
22:44Finding Randy's car was one of the top priorities for the investigation to see where we would go to next.
22:50We tracked those individuals down and spoke with them,
23:12and they revealed to us that a guy named Mark Raisley had given them the car on the night of the murder.
23:21And when they discovered through media accounts that the car was connected to a homicide,
23:26they dumped it in the location where we recovered it.
23:30So they looked into him, and it turns out Mark Raisley, when you look at his family lines, is Carol Baker's nephew.
23:38It was a big break in the case.
23:45When we learned Mark Raisley had it, we were trying to link, well, how did Mark Raisley get it?
23:50Well, what can I imagine if I did in this incidentimana?
23:53I think too hard can do to win this.
23:54I was like, well, how do you know what I can do?
23:55Yes.
23:55Have a great drink, but do you know what I can do?
23:57Mark Raisley said that the night of the murder, Randy's car was parked in front of Carol Baker's
24:22house, and Carol Baker was texting Mark Raisley, get rid of it either on Facebook or at a chop shop,
24:29but you just needed to get rid of the car. And Mark Raisley said Grizz wanted Randy's car burnt.
24:35I believed him when he said it. Mark Raisley was helpful in answering any questions. At this point,
24:41I believe Grizz murdered Randy at the direction of Kelly and then took the car. His mom and Carol
24:46Baker helped get rid of all the evidence. Now I had to prove this.
24:50Remember Mike, right? Hi, Carol. Hi. Couldn't have a seat.
25:17I devised the plan and I created a fake photo array. In this photo array, her son has been placed in
25:27position number two. We're hoping Carol would think that Kelly Baker came in and said her son did it.
25:34If she felt like Kelly Baker double-crossed her, then she's going to just give up the whole story
25:40then and probably blame Kelly Baker more than anyone else. We went into the interview room
25:46and I'm orchestrating this puppet show and unfortunately forgot to turn on the video
25:51in the room, but I had my redundant backup audio recording going the entire time.
25:57So like Chris told you, we wanted to show you a photo array. We talked with Kelly quite a while.
26:06So I want to see if you recognize anyone in this array.
26:14My son.
26:27Okay. And what position is he in?
26:30Two.
26:30Okay. And what's his name?
26:34Kelly.
26:36So when Carol looks at this array, she sees her son. She was clearly shocked. Her eyes
26:41grew wider. Her mouth twitched. Did you see him at all the day Randy was killed?
26:49No. He was going to work in Wyoming the last I heard.
26:53What time did he have to get to Wyoming on August 15th?
26:57I don't pay attention to that stuff.
26:59The day Randy died. Didn't call you, text you, anything like that?
27:02No.
27:03What's his relationship with Randy?
27:06Nephew.
27:07But I mean, what's it like?
27:09They were really close.
27:12I mean, his whole life, Randy was his idol.
27:14Did he come to the funeral?
27:15No.
27:16I don't even know if he knows it.
27:18Oh, really? You haven't, you never reached out to him to tell him that a guy he loved
27:23died?
27:23I couldn't find him.
27:25You know, there's no number, I have no number, no nothing.
27:27Okay. How long had Randy on that Pontiac, the car?
27:32Quite a while.
27:33Why was it at your house an hour after he died?
27:37It was?
27:39So it would have been, what, 15 minutes, five, zero minutes after Randy probably died?
27:46No.
27:46Who's Mark Raisley?
27:51My ex's brother's son.
27:53Do you talk to Mark?
27:55Not very often.
27:57Mark Raisley said you texted him the night Randy was murdered and asked him to come pick
28:01up the car and get rid of it.
28:03No.
28:04You didn't tell him too bad you don't know where a chop shop is.
28:08Now, there's a lot of stuff we know, quite honestly, Carol, so I'm just hoping that you're
28:12telling me the truth instead of being scared and not wanting to tell me the truth.
28:17Did Kelly Raisley come to your house in that car?
28:19She doesn't respond, but she nodded her head.
28:24And now I'm just going to keep throwing the questions as quick as I can to see how far
28:28she'll go.
28:29And so what did he say exactly?
28:31Kelly.
28:32He goes, I took this car, but I don't want it.
28:35Did Kelly tell you that they wanted the car burned?
28:40He might have.
28:41And did you ask him, why do you have Randy's car?
28:44Mm-hmm.
28:45I said, how'd you get this?
28:46Why wouldn't you tell me all this?
28:49Kid.
28:51Your kid?
28:52You know, trying to protect him.
28:53Mama bear.
28:54I get it.
28:55I've done it for his whole life.
28:57But he killed your brother.
28:59But I didn't know it.
29:01Suspected everything.
29:01And when she started to confess, I just wanted to keep it going for as long as she's willing
29:07to let me, to get evidence further implicating Kelly and Grizz and exploiting just how deep
29:14she was in this conspiracy.
29:17Why did you wipe your phone clean?
29:19I don't even know.
29:20You know, the funny thing about cell phones, even though you press delete, a lot of stuff
29:26stays inside of them.
29:27And in Kelly's, Kelly Baker's phone, a lot of the stuff she deleted stayed there.
29:36She's your best friend.
29:37She tells you everything.
29:40You exchanged 4,500 text messages with Kelly Baker from June 1st up to the murder.
29:48She discussed murdering Randy with you.
29:52Why would she do this?
29:54Why would she kill him?
29:55Wait for him to die.
29:57She has been for 14 years.
30:01And she just didn't want to wait any longer?
30:04He was unbelievable to live with.
30:07So in July, when she's planning this murder, is she meeting with Kelly Raisley?
30:12Is she?
30:13Not in front of me.
30:16When we were in the room watching it live, one of the other officers looked up and said,
30:21the light's not on.
30:22It's recording sound, but not picture.
30:24So one of the other officers quickly turned on the video.
30:27Who was with Kelly in the house when he murdered Randy?
30:32Nobody was there.
30:34Just Kelly?
30:35It had to be just Kelly.
30:36Well, you know.
30:38You know.
30:39When we've been talking, you know that they planned this out.
30:42You said that, right?
30:43You didn't shoot your brother?
30:47No.
30:48But how do you know Kelly Raisley was alone in the house when you murdered Randy?
30:53Just was.
30:54Was he in the house, Randy Baker's house, when you left?
30:59No.
31:00He was.
31:00I didn't see him.
31:02Remember one time in a text message you sent to Kelly Baker that you fantasized about Randy
31:07sitting in his home alone when somebody broke into the house through the back door?
31:12And he would just sit there and scream like a little girl?
31:14Remember saying that?
31:15I guess my questions now are kind of, what role did you play in Randy's work?
31:22When you passed messages from Kelly Raisley and Kelly Baker, you knew they were planning
31:46the murders, right?
31:47I think I need an attorney.
31:55You do?
31:56Okay.
31:59Well, you're under arrest for first-degree murder and conspiracy first-degree murder.
32:02You're going to be processed, transported, to the World County Jail, booked in.
32:05You have a no-bond warrant.
32:07You'll be seeing a judge, I would assume, sometime tomorrow.
32:12And we'll move on from there.
32:14Thanks for your time.
32:17I had some concerns that Carol might not give up as much information as she did, but Detective
32:28Prill's interview techniques led to her talking, and she gave us a lot of information that helped
32:36the case.
32:36When Kelly was transported back to the police department, I wanted Kelly to actually walk
32:50past Carol in the interview room.
32:52We wanted to see what Kelly's reaction would be.
32:55They locked eyes.
33:05They both saw each other and realized now that both of them are in custody for this.
33:10So I'm leaving both sides to believe that the other gave them up.
33:15Now we switch Carol out and put Kelly in the room.
33:23Hi, Kelly.
33:27Spoke with Carol for quite a while.
33:29I advise her of her legal rights just to see if she's willing to talk.
33:34She had two options, give me more lies or confess.
33:37Having these rights in mind, do you wish to speak with me now?
33:41I'm an attorney president.
33:43Okay.
33:45You want an attorney president?
33:46That's what you said.
33:47Okay.
33:47You're under arrest for a degree murder.
33:49And a conspiracy you commit for a degree murder.
33:52You're going to murder Randy Baker, your husband.
33:55I didn't do anything.
33:56Okay.
33:57Well, you prove that court.
34:01I didn't care.
34:02It didn't hurt the case.
34:03You don't have anything to say.
34:06See you later.
34:33So now we have Kelly Baker, Carol Baker, and Kelly Raisley in custody for this.
34:48But an arrest does by no means halt the investigation.
34:53We are seeking justice, and we continue to collect vast amounts of evidence proving their
34:58guilt.
34:58Months later, Kelly Raisley ended up sending me a few letters.
35:14And it's clear, he wants to talk to me and provide information on what happened.
35:22And so we arranged with his attorney that if he tells the truth, the only benefit he would
35:27receive is that we would not pursue the death penalty.
35:30He's a big guy.
35:40He's a killer.
35:41My concern is this entire setup is a means for him to either attack Chris or I or hoping
35:49for a chance to escape.
35:51So I laid out the room in such a way to put barriers up in case that was something he did.
35:57But I'm laid back and casual with him because he asked for this.
36:04It was an opportunity for me to have a lot of unanswered questions finally answered.
36:09Were you approached ultimately and talked about what you'd get paid for doing this?
36:18Yeah, I mean, it was, uh, I was approached through my mom, but it was via, so I gave you
36:25the $10,000.
36:27Okay.
36:28And ran these motorcycles.
36:29And so how do you know specifically that Kelly Baker wanted your help in killing Brandon?
36:35Paraphrasing.
36:36It would be, uh, that she couldn't take it anymore.
36:41That, you know, she basically used her, him or her, and she was willing to do anything.
36:47To kill her.
36:49To get her in here.
36:50He said that he was very, very close to Randy growing up.
37:20He was the only father figure, uh, Grizz ever had.
37:23But these two women convinced him that Randy was abusive.
37:27And then with eerie, almost fascinating detail in this quiet room,
37:35Grizz detailed the murder of Randy from start to finish.
37:39How did you get to the Baker house that day?
37:44Okay.
37:45Did she accompany you into the house?
37:50No.
37:51So she was leaving?
37:52Yeah.
37:53What were you going to do?
37:55Uh, just try and then make it look like a suicide.
38:01But I didn't hear the garage door open.
38:03Because it's raining, and I, some, my peripheral vision cut.
38:07Um, and what happened?
38:10I got a little .2 in my hand, all right.
38:13And just from the film, the way I was feeling there.
38:16And I spun and fired.
38:19You said in the letter, it's important to you to relate, I think, through me, that whether or not he suffered.
38:26No, he, he, when he fell, when he collapsed, he was, I mean, to my knowledge, he was unconscious.
38:32Just, my mom became trapped in the middle of whatever she was being said from Kelly.
38:42Like, I feel like I got played.
38:45Did these ladies think they were going to get away with this?
38:50Apparently, yeah.
38:51I was like, I just, I'm just going to get out of here.
39:10And so then I, uh, took the car over to my mom.
39:14And then, uh, she goes, well, how did, how did, how did, how did you do it?
39:18So I know what to tell her.
39:19And I said, you want to f***ing know him?
39:21Because I'm, honestly, I'm, I'm kind of pissed.
39:24Because I've been putting this, like, I feel like I've been putting this f***ing bad spot anyway.
39:28Sure.
39:29And then she says, uh, or, and then I tell her.
39:34Exactly.
39:36And what's her response to that?
39:38I think I'm going to be sick.
39:41Which, that's why I left pissed off.
39:43You know, she makes a sound like you did something.
39:45They turn me into the animal, but you're the one that's pushing it.
39:49Because I, I could have just taken G6 and left completely.
39:54And just came back from the stolen line.
39:57Um, but it was more of a, kind of a f***ing year.
40:02You're getting your hands dirty.
40:04So you made that decision from the house.
40:06And you get your mom involved.
40:11Interesting.
40:11So, ultimately, how much were you paid?
40:18And then, uh, 13.
40:20And a bike.
40:22And a bike.
40:22And a bike.
40:22Obviously, Grizz's confession was massive.
40:33But I think every interview, especially in this case, big or small, produced evidence that was necessary for the ultimate arrest and conviction.
40:41Kelly Raisley pled guilty to first-degree murder and got sentenced to life without parole.
41:03Carole Baker pled guilty to first-degree murder and is serving life without parole in the prison.
41:21Anybody who could orchestrate another person's death, especially utilizing, uh, somebody's own family member, is, is a psychopath.
41:40I'm thrilled to know that Kelly Baker will never see daylight again as a free person, nor her nephew, and nor will Carole.
41:52Justice has definitely been found in the realm of, of crime and punishment.
41:57But Randy Baker's daughter woke up this morning without her dad.
42:03So, in that sense, there is no such thing as justice.
42:06But, ultimately, we, we recovered Randy's motorcycle.
42:14And we were able to bring that bike back to Betty.
42:17And that was huge for me.
42:21It was almost like the book was closed.
42:23They were all in prison, but he was coming home with me a little bit.
42:28It's in a garage, and I'll go when I miss him and just sit on it and talk to him.
42:33My youngest was sitting on his motorcycle the other day.
42:36And I'm like, God, he would have been so happy to see, like, one of his grandchildren on his motorcycle just loving life.
42:44And I found, like, peace in it.
42:47Like, Dad, you, like, raised me, and now I'm raising four, almost five other little kids, like, that might not have got to know you, but they know you.
42:59Like, Dad, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you, like, you
