00:28When we talk about the climate, we have to have young people in our minds because you
00:57have to live with our decisions, how long do we do? And so feel free to tell me your thoughts
01:02on what the next generation wants out of their leaders.
01:05Yes, we can make a difference and we must make a difference. Climate damage is one of the
01:24defining issues of our time and it's not going to go away. It clearly impacts all of us. Look
01:30at the flooding that we've had in Sussex or the wildfires in Scotland, more generally of
01:35course Jamaica and the terrible hurricane just in recent weeks. So it's not going away
01:39and we've got a duty to step up and show leadership on this. I strongly believe that by acting
01:46together as countries we can do far more than we do on our own and that's proven by what
01:52we've already achieved in the last 10 years. I don't just see it as a challenge either.
01:57There are huge opportunities here. Today I've been able to announce that at Great Yarmouth
02:04port we're expanding the port. There's going to be assembling of turbines to go out to sea
02:09for offshore wind farms. Same in Belfast and of course a battery operation in Manchester.
02:15So there's real opportunities here but only if we step up to the plate. And those that say,
02:21now is the time to look away, pretend climate change isn't happening, I think are just fundamentally
02:26wrong. Those that say we shouldn't go after green jobs of the future need to go and talk
02:31to those who are doing these jobs and tell them that they don't really value their jobs.
02:35I do value their jobs and I respect their jobs.
02:39And they map that 7% of youth living there actually face climate related issues.
02:51So it's this youth in the Amazon? Yes, exactly.
02:53Oh, okay. So this is really useful study. So interesting. And this for young people, did you say climate change is number one issue or number two, number three?
03:05I think it's really useful.
03:09I think the most important is that we need to invest in a right transition,
03:12an adaptation of climate change and an adaptation of climate change.
03:16So, you're interested in investing on climate justice,
03:22just transition and some people and things like this.
03:24So now, I told you, you may not have to be affected.
03:26The result of climate change and the Amazon.
