00:00Let's start on the men's side at MSG.
00:02It's going to be rocking as Nate Oates and the Alabama Crimson Tide
00:06head to Gotham to take on Rick Pitino and the St. John's Red Storm.
00:12If you want a game that's going to have offense, folks, look no further.
00:23You have dynamic play from Nate Oates and how Alabama is going to play.
00:28I know you realize that Sears is gone.
00:31Grant Nelson is gone.
00:32Omurari is gone at the center position.
00:35But Fillion is back.
00:37He flirted with the NBA draft.
00:39He came back 22 points opening night.
00:42And obviously with him not sharing the backcourt with Sears,
00:47you're going to see someone that's going to be extremely dynamic offensively.
00:52Millett is someone that missed some time last year, only played in six games.
00:58really can do some things at about six for five as a rugged guard.
01:05But then you go to the other side and you've got St. John's.
01:09And this team is going to be the St. John's team that we've been accustomed to
01:16in a little bit of a mix of the running gun Kentucky style along with the gritty defense of his Louisville years.
01:28And when you look at opening night and you look at this team,
01:32you get Jackson to transfer from UNC who comes back home as a dynamic score.
01:38Got to remember, Bryce Hopkins, folks, is one of the best players in the Big East, right?
01:43At Providence, so he dealt with injuries.
01:45You got, obviously, Zuby Echefor, who was the most improved player in the Big East this past year.
01:51Then you have Dylan Mitchell, who is a 6'8", 210-pound, rugged forward.
01:57This is going to be exciting basketball.
02:00I will be at attendance Saturday at the Garden as a spectator, but that's all right.
02:06You'll get Coach's scouting report.
02:08Be on the lookout.
02:09Follow me at CoachYoungNJ as I will be giving updates and my takes real time in that big-time matchup.
02:16Now, I wish I could go to two games because if I went to the second game, that's going to be this one.
02:20This is Arkansas-Michigan State.
02:23And I just love this matchup for both teams.
02:29We talked a little bit about Michigan State and what we expect out of them,
02:34and I think they could be a team that could really make a deep run in March.
02:38But when you really look at Arkansas with Cal, he's got, you know, a dynamic freshman in the cup that's a great scorer.
02:47You got Brazil, who's one of the best big men in the country.
02:49A big man that's been in school for five years, which is something we don't see.
02:53Remember, he tore his ACL, got a medical record.
02:55That's why he's back.
02:57If we say game one offense, I think game number two is defense,
03:01as you have two experienced teams, two really good coaches who have a ton of respect for each other.
03:07That's going to be a great matchup this weekend between Arkansas and Michigan State.
