Olympian Kirt Sinnette has been appointed Chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago Boxing Board of Control.

00:05As Olympian Kurt Sennett has been appointed chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago Boxing Board of Control.
00:11The announcement came as Minister Sport Philip Watts officially presented instruments of appointment to five board members.
00:19Well, joining Sennett is former boxer Kim Kwashi, who takes up the role of deputy chairman.
00:23And the other members include former rugby player Quinise John, business administrator Hemraj Rampasad, and attorney at law Brian Bazio.
00:33The board will serve a two-year term with a mandate to modernize the sport, create pathways for young athletes, and develop coaching standards across the country.
