00:00Our former head coach, Bill Belichick, he was on the Let's Go pod with Scratchy,
00:05and they were talking about the top teams in the AFC. Here was Bill Belichick.
00:10On everybody's bingo card was not. Denver, Indianapolis, and your former team, the Patriots, at 7-2.
00:17What do you make of those teams as they now move forward?
00:20They're leading their divisions in the catbird seat.
00:23Competitively, most everyone who's been in strong competition will tell you that it's a little bit easier to get to the top
00:28than to stay on top. An organization like Washington could see that this year.
00:32They had a great year last year. Things fell right for them, and this year, everybody's gunning for them,
00:36and it's a lot tougher. All those teams deserve a lot of credit.
00:38Certainly, Drake Mays had an outstanding year for the Patriots.
00:41They've won a couple of close games, and that's really changed their record, I'd say.
00:47All right.
00:48A couple of close games.
00:49He had some issues with Drake and his footwork.
00:52Yeah. Cleaned it up, though.
00:54He's famously leading into the draft, but now appears to have perhaps pivoted a little bit on that.
00:59Yeah. Evaluation, and then, you know, the guy works on it, and they say,
01:02okay, when he first came in, he had some issues, but now it looks like his footwork is good.
01:06He needs to focus on his own quarterback and give himself a – he's going to need a quarterback
01:10going forward down there at UNC.
01:12I think they paid that kid, you know, maybe $4 or $5 million,
01:14so I think they're stuck with him for maybe one more year unless they want to just pull the plug on him.
01:20I didn't know that Jim Gray podcast was still going.
01:23Well, it's because, honestly, he uses terms that are very relative to the Youngs, like catbird seat.
01:29That's the reason why it's still –
01:30That's great. Great word.
01:32That's really the reason why it's so popular.
01:34He should throw in a 6.7 every once in a while.
01:37Should do that, though.
