Could Belichick be back in NFL?? Sounds like there could be some suitors that want to interview Bill. New York seems logical..-What other teams will be in the mix?
Transcript
00:00From several NFL exec sources that there will be not one, not two, but three NFL teams that are interested in interviewing Bill Belichick for head coaching openings that are coming.
00:20Three teams. Now, I wish Curtis were here because Curtis's point, Curtis's narrative is that Jordan has ruined it for Bill. Bill has ruined his legacy. Nobody's interested in Bill, but it seems like at least three teams will interview him.
00:37And why wouldn't you? Like, I don't chime. I mean, I, you know, it's difficult. Look at what, look at what Bill O'Brien was able to do his first year. And then look at the disaster that is this year in college football. Like, I don't, if you're an NFL owner and you're looking at this year in a, in a, in a, in a bubble when it comes to Bill Belichick.
00:58Yeah. It hasn't been a successful year from him, but also it's, it takes a while to get a college program going the way you want it to go as a head coach. Cause don't, you can tell me that Mac had that team. They were, they were bowl teams and they were, you know, they were playoff teams. And I understand that, but I would, I, if I were the giants or, or I were whomever, I, maybe the Raiders, I would absolutely be interested in Bill Belichick as my head coach.
01:28I just, I, I look at the, the possible jobs across the NFL. I don't know. Like, I guess maybe the giants, but like, I don't think the giants will be interested. That leaves the Titans is the only current open job. And then like, I don't know what other jobs are really going to become available. I guess maybe Arizona might be an opportunity. I don't know if Vegas would want to go from Pete Carroll to Bill Belichick. Like, I don't know if you want to stay in the old category.
01:56It depends somewhat on how you think Tom Brady feels about Bill Belichick. Don't you think? Yeah. Also true. Tom Brady's going to have input into who the head coach of that football team is. I would assume. Yeah. I just, I don't know what other job opportunities there are. So like, if you want to go coach Tennessee, Bill, like by all means, you're going to be a terrible football team. Like, I think that's a terrible idea for him personally. Do we all agree that Miami's off the table? Yeah. I don't think they're firing Mike McDaniel.
02:26The giants or Tennessee are the three that the giants seem to be the only logical one because like, I don't, if I'm Bill, I don't leave UNC for Tennessee. Right. Well, Curtis brings up the bills all the time. Like that. The bills ought to make a change there. Yeah. I guess Sean McDermott could get fired, especially if the bills don't make it deep into the playoffs.
02:43But are they going to be interested in Bill Belichick or are they going to be interested in the offensive guy to help Josh Allen for
