00:00Gemma, he's also proposed an Arc de Trump to commemorate the country's 250th anniversary next year.
00:08Arc de Trump might take longer than a year to build, maybe?
00:12I think this, you know, obviously they're celebrating their 250th anniversary,
00:16so we'll see how long the Arc de Trump takes to build.
00:18This is being done, evidently, with the leftover cash from the donors from the ballroom.
00:25So again, it's privately funded.
00:26There's so much being privately funded right now, you know, it sets alarm bells ringing.
00:32Yes, he wants to build a triumphal arch across from the Lincoln Memorial in Washington.
00:37Now it's been dubbed the Arc de Trump, obviously,
00:40and it's to commemorate the 250th anniversary next year, being privately funded.
00:44And it's based on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
00:48And I found this interesting because I feel that Trump would really love to have
00:52the kind of history that Europeans have in the U.S.
00:57Because he talks about the U.K. a lot, you know, the sense of history,
01:01and he really loves all of that.
01:02He loves the king.
01:03Yes, he does.
01:03He really kind of got that sense.
01:05So I think this is his way of trying to sort of get some of that,
01:09that ye olde worlde that he craves so much.
01:13So, yeah, he unveiled the plans for it at one of the dinners for the ballroom.
01:20And he said there's a small version, a medium version, and a large version.
01:23I think we can all guess which his preferred version was.
01:26Yes.
01:27It's being fully financed.
01:29And, yeah, the architects have already come out next to talk about it,
01:33saying America needs a triumphal arch.
01:36And, yeah, the architects have already come out next to talk about it.
