00:00I mean, we've been told by some of the analysts we've spoken to that, you know, perhaps President Trump's preferred
00:06way to wrap up this this conflict to to to to disengage will be once the Strait of Hormuz is
00:15reopened, declare some sort of a unilateral victory for him to do that.
00:21What do you think he would need to show the American people for that victory to have some some credibility
00:29behind it?
00:30Well, he has been very clear, consistently clear, and so has Secretary of State Rubio and Secretary of Defense Hegseth
00:37on what the entering arguments are for peace.
00:41One is handing over all nuclear material to the IAEA, ceasing enrichment, shutting down ballistic missile development, cutting back on
00:58support of proxies like Hezbollah and Hamas and the Houthis,
01:03and opening the Strait of Hormuz.
01:07If he were to say the Strait of Hormuz is over or is open, it's all over, that would not
01:15be suitable answer for many people, because that would be one element and nothing else has changed.
01:24It is my expectation that we have essentially destroyed their ballistic missile production capability.
01:32Wonderful.
01:33We have destroyed their economy to the point where supporting Hezbollah or Hamas is extremely difficult.
01:41And by the way, Israel is hammering that problem themselves.
01:46But until you get the refined nuclear material in whatever condition it is, you have not answered the problem.
01:58The problem that started everything with Midnight Hammer last year and that continues this year,
02:04which is, are you going to allow Iran to become a nuclear power and everyone at the top of the
02:14United States government is emphatic about this is an entire impossibility.
02:19This cannot be allowed to happen.
02:21So I would be extremely surprised if the president took that exit because it would hang over him.
02:30I am sure he is concerned about his legacy and his entire drum beating has been Iran cannot be a
02:39nuclear power.
02:41And to just say the Strait of Hormuz is open, we are going to have peace, that makes no sense.
02:48No one would understand it.
