00:00And it's a strange one, Dr. Eli, on the basis that it's the same week that we've had the BBC case launched,
00:05five billion twice, so ten billion of a lawsuit against the BBC for editing his interview in an incorrect way.
00:13You're so kind in calling it editing.
00:14Editing was a loose description of what it was.
00:17But he's normally taken quite, as Isabel rightly said, grievance and upset with someone saying something disparaging towards him.
00:25But he's standing by her for this, so it's a rather unusual one, right?
00:28Well, still the official rhetoric is that they took things out of context.
00:32And if he is angry, he will be angry against the media outlet that published this, the Vanity Fair, rather than against her.
00:41On that side, he continues with his process of animosity with the media and so on.
00:46There might have been some things that were edited, as you said, and put out of context just to make sense.
00:54For example, comments on different people in different contexts and put them together to shape a frame or an image of that person due to editorial purposes or just to make a point.
01:06So there is that.
01:07They are not denying because obviously they know that it has been recorded and they have invited in the media and so on.
01:13So I think this is a whole other issue, that he will protect her and attack the media itself.
01:20On her side, she is the iron lady of the White House.
01:24She has been, she promised people a different, better second term of Trump.
01:30And to a certain extent, she is delivering on that.
01:33We have to also remember that Trump's people, Trump's entourage, Trump's administration is not an establishment administration.
01:41It's not people who have been trained in the administration.
01:44It's not people who are colleagues and who know the system.
01:48It's people that come from so many different backgrounds with so many different ideas that are only connected with the image of Trump.
01:55And she is making sure that they are continuing to be in line, that they are holding the line and they are supporting the president no matter what.
02:05So I think she is very crucial to his presidency.
02:08He knows that.
02:09And that's why he would look over any mistakes that she does if we want to call this a mistake in that sense.
02:17And definitely I know we have to say that Trump gets away with things in the media that no other president have gotten away with.
02:25Simply because he is too blunt and he says, OK, I said that or I did that or this is a fact.
02:31I don't care.
02:31I'm moving on.
02:33And the American public opinion is getting acquainted to that little by little and they're getting used to it.
