00:05My gosh, you talk about buzzkill. I did not think we would be here week 10 into the season,

00:10especially what John Mara said early in January when he spoke to the media about why he retained

00:17Joe Shane and Brian Dable. If I'm sitting here a year from now, you're asking me these questions,

00:23I'll take the heat. But at the end of the day, we've got to make a decision and we've made one.

00:28If you're going to draft a rookie quarterback and then change the head coach and GM after that,

00:33is this really a two-year commitment to them? I understand the question, but I'm not going to put

00:37any kind of time living on it, but I certainly understand where you're going with that.

00:41You know, he shouldn't have to take the heat because after free agency, the draft, the roster

00:45construction, and the preseason where they put up like a bajillion points, I, we, all of us thought

00:52at worst, we'd be talking about Jackson Dart two to three games into taking over for Russell Wilson

00:57and making some sort of run or, or at least keeping them in playoff contention. But here we are two

01:04and seven for the third straight season. And we're talking about who gets fired and who stays and who

01:10goes and who gets the custodial rights to Jackson Dart. If there is some sort of divorce, they got the

01:16quarterback that they wanted. This roster was a quarterback away. We should be talking contract

01:22extension on the back page, not who's getting fired. And it's a complex situation. So to be

01:28sitting here trying to pick and choose who stays and who goes like it's a la carte, it's a little

01:33bit harder than that because the fans and the media will all agree. It's not a perfect roster,

01:38but it's a better roster than what the record indicates. There've been injuries to some premier

01:44players, this or that Nick whack, Patty whack, give a dog a bone. But to be honest, this team just

01:49hasn't been able to close out and finish games. There's no way any decisions are going to be made

01:55right now. But look, eight weeks left in the season. Unfortunately, it's getting late early
