00:00I want to tell you about a San Antonio teacher who is the victim of a porch pirate.

00:09You know what happens, especially if you live in an apartment building.
00:13I know this has happened to me a number of times when I was in a condo.
00:16People just walking by and say, that looks good.
00:19It stinks, man.
00:20Takes a package right off your front step.
00:22So rude.
00:23And so it's the reality that some people do bad things, right?
00:27Well, here's the sad thing.
00:28In that package, it was Kathleen Sanchez's wedding dress.
00:33Oh, she had a Halloween wedding planned.
00:38Now, she's big in a spooky season.
00:39So she decided to kind of do something different.
00:42Being that she was getting married on Halloween, she had a black wedding dress.
00:46Oh, man.
00:47Which is so cool, right?
00:48That is cool.
00:49Theme it up, babe.
00:50In that package was that wedding dress.
00:52Okay.
00:53Gone.
00:54And I would imagine, you know, you're not just running down a David's bridal thing.
00:59And just picking up another black wedding gown.
01:01It's probably not going to happen.
01:02So she's a local teacher, right?
01:04And kind of news got around.
01:05And somebody ended up doing a story.
01:07A local news station did a story on this about porch pirates.
01:10And this was one of the many stories that they told surrounding it.
01:13And a kind stranger who wishes to not be named reached out to her personally.
01:18Was able to find her work email.
01:20Messaged her and said, I want to buy another wedding dress for you.
01:24No way.
01:25And did.
01:26And so she was able to have the exact dress that she wanted.
01:29And ultimately, she did say, like, hey, it wasn't even that expensive.
01:32I mean, I'm buying a wedding dress that comes in a package, right?
01:35Right.
01:35But she's a teacher.
01:36Yeah.
01:36And she's doing this fun wedding on Halloween night.
01:39But she said it really wasn't about the price of the dress.
01:42It was about the act of somebody wanting to go out of their way to buy one for her.
