00:00I just got home from California in Hawaii, like literally just walked through the door probably about an hour ago

00:07and instead of taking a nap, because I'm exhausted, but instead of taking a nap

00:11I decided to make this video because something happened while I was on vacation that really grinds my gears

00:19Yeah, not feeling great right now after the several back-to-back plane rides I had to take

00:24From Hawaii, to another place in Hawaii, to LA, to Chicago, finally back to Massachusetts

00:32I have a headache, my ass cheeks hurt from sitting for so long, and also, I-

00:38I think I caught something on the fucking plane

00:42That being said, this video is not about my travels back to the hometown of Massachusetts

00:46I did say a while back that I was only gonna post plush videos on this channel

00:51And I'm breaking that streak because this is too important to put on a side channel

00:55And I need people to see this

00:57Long story short, if you don't feel like hearing me talk for however long

01:00There's an Elsagate problem in the plush community

01:02If you've been active on the plush tubing discord community

01:06Then you've probably heard of what's been going on

01:09And of course, anybody I talk about in this video, don't go and harass them

01:13Anybody wanna clip that so it's on record of me saying not to do that in case anything happens?

01:19Basically, Brett, aka SMLYTP, aka Magical Mario Bros, posted a video called Rose's Punishment

01:25Where Marvin, ahem, where Marvin, um, sexually harasses Rose, basically

01:32She loses, like, a bet or something, and Marvin makes her wear, like, these vibrator underwear

01:36And he keeps turning it on throughout the day

01:39It's- it's fucking gross

01:41I mean, there's no other way to put it

01:44It's literally just fucking disgusting

01:45I was one of the few unlucky people who watched the entire video out of curiosity

01:50And there's a line at the end of- I'm not gonna show anything here, by the way

01:53But there's a- there's a line at the end of the video

01:55Where Rose literally says, I'm gonna come

01:58And then a bunch of people, like, walk into the room

02:00As she's about to, like, orgasm

02:03I'm probably gonna have to center this so I can monetize it

02:05Now, making trend hopping plush videos or, like, just the brain rot kids plush videos

02:11In- in- it's nothing new to the SML parody community or plush community

02:15Um, but it's crossed the line here

02:18I don't know, maybe I've just, like, never noticed it before or something

02:21But it- it seems a lot more prominent this year than I've ever seen it

02:26And actually, MPK Review's video is what made me realize how bad it's actually getting in the community

02:32I'll talk about his videos more in a second

02:34Cause I'm sure you guys wanna hear my opinions on what his opinions are

02:37This isn't anything, like, brand new

02:39It's- it's not something that's never happened before

02:41Elsagate isn't a new concept

02:43It just seems like it's becoming more common in the plush community than it ever has

02:48And whether it's intentional Elsagate or not is up for debate

02:51I don't even know what that means

02:52I- I- I don't- it's- it's bad either way

02:56Even if it's unintentional Elsagate, it's still really fucking bad

03:00And if you don't know what Elsagate is, I've been saying it a lot

03:03It's basically that era on YouTube where weird, like, kids channels would upload videos of, like, Disney characters getting pregnant

03:09Or, like, going to the doctors and getting shots in their ass and shit like that

03:13And it was basically, uh, kids content, but a dis- a barely disguised- you know that meme?

03:20A writer's barely disguised fetish, that thing?

03:22Yeah

03:23And once enough people complained about it, YouTube eventually went on a purge to eliminate a bunch of Elsagate channels

03:28And with this information, I wanna make it very clear that I am not accusing Brett

03:32Or any of the weird SML parody channels of getting off this shit

03:36I'm not accusing it of being anyone's fetish

03:38All I'm saying is that the content they're making is getting very close to what the definition of Elsagate is

03:44Shout out to Cable10 cause he doesn't do any of this weird shit

03:47And maybe Tom Bomb to a certain degree

03:49Some exceptions could be made

03:50As far as I know, for the Rose's punishment situation, Brett didn't have full control over that video

03:56He was sick so he sent his crew to make it for him and then he just recorded some of his scenes afterwards

04:01And you know, admittedly on first hand, it's not a terrible defense

04:05You're sick, you gotta get a video out, so you send your crew out to film a video for you and then you upload it when they're done

04:10It's not a bad excuse

04:12If you weren't the owner of the channel and had full say in what gets uploaded and what doesn't

04:18Even if you didn't have full involvement with making the video itself

04:21For god's sakes, you're the channel owner!

04:23You have full say in whether or not it gets uploaded

04:26You should watch it to make sure that your crew didn't make some fucked up shit like this

04:30And then give it the okay

04:32Well, in this case, don't give it the okay cause that thing should not be uploaded at all

04:36The point is, it's hard to come up with a proper excuse for this

04:39Because it's such an easily avoidable situation, but it happened anyway

04:43Brett did make a community post talking about this and admitting to his wrongs and

04:48Uh, offering an explanation and I'm not gonna get into whether I think it's good or not

04:53Could use some work

04:55Okay, now do I think MPK's reaction to this situation is justifiable?

05:00Fucking yes it is, are you fucking joking me? It's 100% justifiable

05:04I understand the criticism towards MPK

05:06I know not a lot of people like it when reviewers yell

05:09And MPK does get quite riled up in his reviews

05:12Whether you think MPK's yelling is justifiable is up for debate

05:16But what he's saying is fucking true

05:18Like if you ignore his yelling, he's saying facts!

05:22This is becoming a big problem, MPK is right, whether you think he's being too harsh or not

05:26I don't know, that's up for debate

05:27But what he's saying is true

05:29You cannot see thumbnails like this and titles like this and then look at me directly in the eye and say this is fine

05:36It's not fine! Stop acting like it's fine! It's not okay!

05:41This doesn't mean you have to make your videos for kids

05:44I mean if you're an SML parody channel, your audience is automatically children anyway

05:48And I get it, marketing towards kids makes you more money

05:52But you cannot make your thumbnails look like they're for kids and then have a sex toy in it

06:06I won't deny that I've definitely made some questionable videos when I was first starting plush videos

06:11I was figuring out my channel's identity

06:13But even the videos I made that look bad on the outside

06:16If you watch the actual video, nothing fucking creepy or weird happens in them

06:19Like the Snoot's OnlyFans video, nothing happens to Snoot

06:23Snoot is literally just used as a decoy to catch EVP 445

06:27That video makes fun of those predator catcher YouTube channels

06:41In 2021, I made a No Nut November plush video

06:45One of the worst videos I've made

06:47It's disgusting, I hate it, I regret making it

06:49And it didn't stay on YouTube for that long

06:51Because I removed it

06:52The video was basically Peach sexually harassing Coconut and Kermit

06:56To try and get them to fail No Nut November

06:57I made it at the start of my plush tubing journey

07:00So I was trying to be as edgy as possible

07:03That's what my channel was trying to go for at the time

07:05But I recognized how gross it was

07:07I removed it from YouTube

07:09And I never made a video like that ever again

07:11I don't know why SML parody channels can't do the same when they make a weird video

07:15Just admit that you made a weird fucking video

07:17And never do it again

07:18Or just keep making the same mistake over and over again

07:20If you could even call that a mistake

07:22Also I want to clarify

07:23Because I know damn well there's gonna be somebody who points this out

07:25I am not bragging about how gross the video I made was

07:28I'm just using it as a comparison for the situation

07:31I made a gross video, I deleted it, never made anything like it again

07:35It's for comparison and just so you guys know that

07:38I did make a weird video quite a while back

07:42And I never did anything like that ever again

07:44This isn't an issue with just SML YTP

07:47There's a bunch of other SML parody channels that just make this

07:51Elsa gate clickbaity type shit

07:53And it's just gross and it has to stop

07:55Now I'm gonna go off on a little bit of a tangent here

07:57And talk about SML himself

07:59Because he is also responsible for doing this same thing

08:02And MPK has talked about this as well before

08:05So maybe a little bit of a recap for you guys

08:08During SML's demonetization and age restriction purge

08:11He went family friendly for a little bit hoping that it would fix the problem

08:15And he officially called himself a family friendly plus channel for families to enjoy

08:21This lasted a certain amount of time

08:23Not long at all but it's still amount of time

08:26And then he got hit by a CND from Nintendo

08:28And then had to use original puppet characters

08:30But he kind of used this CND as an excuse to get back to making mature content again

08:36Which if you've already declared that your channel is family friendly

08:40You can't just switch with barely any warning like that

08:42It's ridiculous

08:43You are aware you have child fans

08:46A majority of your fans are children

08:48Or teens on the spectrum

08:50Point is

08:51Logan constantly whines on Chili's vlog channel about

08:54Oh my videos aren't for kids

08:56I want to cuss in them and all that

08:58And then proceeds to make the thumbnails for the gaming videos look like this

09:03Fucking bull ass fucking shit

09:05Like dude what are you doing?

09:07Pick your audience Logan

09:08Do you even know who your own demographic is at this point?

09:11Not to mention you have a whole ass store at the mall with a play area

09:15You cannot tell me your videos are not made for kids when you have a fucking play area

09:21And on discord I have seen some of the most unbelievably stupid stupid takes on this

09:27Someone responded to MPK's sml video saying

09:30That's like saying you want to take south park off the air because of its jokes

09:34No you fucking idiot

09:36That's not the same thing sml and south park are two completely different things

09:40Yes because an adult plus channel that targets itself towards kids is completely comparable to south park

09:46Which is on an adult cartoon channel

09:48Like what even is this thought process?

09:51Actually you know what yeah at one point I did also have this same thought process

09:55When I was in fucking middle school

09:57Comparing sml to an actual adult cartoon made for adults

10:08Because I think that pretty much speaks for itself in how stupid it is

10:12I think something that all plus channels could do

10:16If they're targeted towards somebody older

10:19Add warnings at the beginning of your videos

10:21It's so simple I do that

10:23And I listen my videos aren't for kids

10:26But they're not for adults

10:27They're for teenagers

10:28And teenagers who may or may not be on the spectrum

10:31For the most part I would say my videos are most likely PG-13 leaning
