00:00But one of those games that we take a look at in the Big 12, Texas Tech and Kansas State,

00:03seven and a half point favorite for the road team today.

00:06That's Texas Tech, Joe, and that 51 and a half that's listed.

00:09So obviously handicapping the game and breaking it down.

00:12We're trying to take more of a prop perspective in this game.

00:14So the passing yards, Joe, Avery Johnson, Kansas State, Barron Morton here for Texas Tech,

00:20256 and a half, 207 and a half, Joe.

00:23Who are you looking at maybe from a quarterback prop perspective?

00:25Well, I would take Barron Morton through his passing prop.

00:28I think Texas Tech and I understand that they're a run-heavy offense

00:32and physicality with the offensive line.

00:34But Barron Morton potentially has to break through and challenge that defense

00:38over Kansas State over the top.

00:40Why?

00:40Because Kansas State struggles typically when they play from behind, right?

00:45Avery Johnson's a good quarterback.

00:47He's not a lead.

00:47He's a better runner than he is passer.

00:49Do like Avery Johnson anytime touchdown and rushing prop.

00:53But if we're talking passing totals only, it's got to be Morton.

00:57But again, I'm a little concerned coming back from a long hiatus.

01:01You know, is there any ring rust?

01:02And potentially the quarterback, the wide receiver relationship timing-wise is always

01:08a cause of concern.

01:09Some of those fun markets I like to take a look at, Joe, is take a look at the totality

01:12of the offense themselves.

01:14Kansas State total yards in this game, Joe, 350 and a half.

01:17Texas Tech, 411 and a half.

01:19If you had one way to go on total yards to the over or the under, which way would you

01:23lean in this one?

01:23I mean, you would say that it would have to be K-State.

01:27But again, you know, the reason why I say over 350 for K-State, that means they're having

01:34a balanced attack.

01:35They're throwing the football.

01:36They're running the football.

01:37They're certainly not going to put up, I don't think, 280 on that front seven.

01:40Led by David Bailey.

01:42That's a very dominant run support.

01:44Holding opposing offenses.

01:45Well under four yards per carry.

01:47The problem is going to be third downs.

01:50Can Avery Johnson win on third downs?

01:51So again, when we look at yardage-wise, I would still lean to Texas Tech 411, which

01:57even though it's under their potential total, right?

02:00They love to throw it.

02:01They love to run it.

02:02Kansas State and the Little Apple that has dominated the series, 8th Street, is going

02:08to look to slow down tempo.

02:10But I still think Texas Tech gets there.
