00:00Press conferences, press presentations.
00:03So I'll start from the Toyota booth.
00:05Challenge Me is what you see in front of us with the wheelchair.
00:10Probably you'll think it's a very cool wheelchair.
00:13This image was a Land Cruiser.
00:15It's the Land Cruiser of wheelchairs.
00:20And Akio also looking at it, he said that make it real until I become 80.
00:26He's 69 this year, so within 10 years, it should be commercialized.
00:30I think that was a commitment people were forced to make in front of Akio.
00:34Akio also said that he wants to do drifting with this wheelchair.
00:40Usually he uses a car to do drifting, and he's really good at doing donut turns.
00:46Maybe there'll be a day that we'll be able to see him drift and make donut turn in this wheelchair.
00:50Next is Boost Me.
00:52And in the commercial, you probably saw this with a person playing tennis.
00:55So anyone will be able to ride this and play sports.
01:00And I actually tried this.
01:01I did a test ride before.
01:03So there's a photo.
01:04I will put it on the screen.
01:05So you can see it on the screen.
01:07Well, using the center of gravity of yourself, you can do the operation of this.
01:14So you need to practice a little bit to get the feeling.
01:19But it's quite easy.
01:21And if you get used to it, you can use it for many things.
01:25I want to do badminton.
01:26See, you can see people are plodding.
01:28It means that I was successful in the control.
01:31And next, this is Walk Me.
01:33So when we hear mobility, I think everyone thinks of the vehicles that has wheels.
01:39But here, it's standing on four legs.
01:42It means that it will be walking with these four legs.
01:44And it means that it will be opening new areas that this mobility device can go to,
01:50like walking up the stairs.
01:51And this Walk Me, I like how it moves.
01:56When it's sitting down, it stands up.
01:59And when it's sitting down, it's like the madam at the Ryokan Hotels that sits on her knees,
02:06a little slanted in an angle, but then she will stand up very elegantly.
02:10And it resembles that kind of movement of the madam at the Ryokan Hotels.
02:16You'll be able to see demonstrations throughout the show.
02:19Next, this is Kidsmobi.
02:20And this is a mobility that was designed for children's use.
02:25It uses AI and autonomous vehicle to carry the kids in the car,
02:30so you'll no need to have a driver's license to ride this.
02:33Next is the IMB Origin.
02:36And this was having in mind people of Africa.
02:40You can see how simple the structure of this vehicle is.
02:45Try to image this.
02:46When you go to Ikea, the Ikea to buy furniture, it comes all packed in one cardboard box.
02:54Ikea, right?
02:55But it's Ikea in Japan, in Japanese.
02:58Maybe my pronunciation wasn't so good.
03:00So the image is that you get a cardboard box with all of the parts and not assembled,
03:07and then you open the box and assemble itself.
03:10So that's the idea.
03:11IMB Origin.
03:12And next, there was a big focus with the TV commercial.
03:16People were talking about it, saying, what's that car?
03:19And it was the Corolla, this car.
03:22If you look inside, it's quite advanced, state-of-the-art.
03:25And the interior is something that you've never seen before.
03:28And even the, you'll be able to see the interior.
03:32And appearance is quite cool, too.
03:34I hope you can come closer afterwards.
03:38And then, KAYOI BAKO.
03:39Two years ago, at the previous mobility show, we've introduced this KAYOI BAKO.
03:44And it's become much more ready for launch, and quite stylish, too.
03:49And for KAYOI BAKO, after using this, there will be the last mile that we have to fill
03:54with this kind of a compact mobility.
03:57It looks a little bit like the WalkMe I just introduced.
04:00It's called Chibimo, and it also moves with its four legs.
04:04And it's cargo that you don't know what's in.
04:07It might be delicate and sensitive to carry, so it has to be carried very carefully,
04:11and this mobility will realize just that.
04:15And this is what you can get on and try and move the objects and cargo.
04:20And, of course, I'd like to introduce Daihatsu 2.
04:24Daihatsu TV commercial, 1957 launched Mizzet, is also here.
04:30The first-generation Mizzet is here, and the future Mizzet X is right next to it, displayed there.
04:36And from this Mizzet X to the future Mizzet X, you won't be able to see it because there's
04:43so much people, but on the floor, there is the connection between these two with a line,
04:50and it talks about how the invention, what kind of inventions took place in the meantime.
04:55So if you look at the floor, there will be also some interesting information about the
04:59car.
05:00So maybe it will be interesting to watch the floor and see which car is connected to which
05:04car.
05:05That's something to keep in mind for Daihatsu.
05:08And for Daihatsu, when we talk about Daihatsu, it's about Kopen.
05:11And Sato-san, he has been very much focused on Kopen.
05:16He was saying to me that he wants to become a chief engineer of the Kopen, and I'm trying
05:20to comment down and say that you're the president of Toyota, you're not able to do that.
05:24But he's always been talking very excitedly about this Kopen, and he is always talking
05:30about the Kopen when we talk about the Japan Mobility Show, and that's how much he is impressed
05:35with the technology and engineering in this car.
05:39So we've been a little creative.
05:41We put a mirror on the floor of the Kopen, so you'll be able to see how it is on the floor
05:47of the Kopen.
05:48So now that was a quick introduction to the booth of Toyota and Daihatsu.
