00:12The practical crossover MPV from France has not only received a fresh design, but also comes with a number of technical and comfort-oriented innovations.
00:21The new edition is available in four so-called personas.
00:25That's what Renault calls the different equipment variants.
00:28Even the entry-level version, called Authentic, offers surprisingly solid basic equipment.
00:36On the outside, there are halogen injection headlights, halogen taillights and black 14-inch steel rims, but without hubcaps and LED lighting.
00:46The interior is presented in a two-tone black and gray with black fabric upholstery.
00:52Practically, all four windows can be operated electrically and there are charging ports in the front.
00:58However, you have to do without an infotainment system here.
01:03In terms of safety, you're well-equipped with six airbags, a hill start assist, rear parking sensors, a tire pressure monitoring system and ISOFIX attachments for child seats.
01:13The next higher equipment level, Evolution, adds a central 20-centimeter touchscreen infotainment system that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay via cable.
01:25There are also four speakers for the audio system.
01:32While the exterior appearance remains unchanged, there are practical additional features on the inside, such as grab handles for the second and third rows of seats and separate air vents for these seats.
01:42The reversing camera usefully complements the safety equipment.
01:48The techno variant adds even more style and functionality.
01:52There are LED taillights, larger 14-inch steel rims with design covers, LED indicators on the exterior mirrors and a roof rail.
02:04Inside, there is two-tone seat upholstery, a cooled center console and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors.
02:10Steering wheel controls and a power connection for the second row of seats are also added.
02:16The interior rear-view mirrors now have automatic dimming and a rear window wiper with washer function ensures better visibility in bad weather.
02:25Finally, the top version, Emotion, offers almost everything you could wish for in this vehicle class.
02:31On the outside, Renault relies on automatic LED projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED fog lights at the front and stylized two-tone 14-inch rims.
02:43A contrasting black roof paint finish can be ordered as an option.
02:50Inside, there is a larger 20-centimeters driver display, a wireless charging option for smartphones, a start button and cruise control, which only works in conjunction with the manual transmission.
03:01In terms of safety, there are front parking sensors, rain sensors for the windscreen wipers and a rear window heater.
03:10This is also the only variant that is offered with both a manual transmission and an automated transmission.
03:17Under the hood, everything remains the same.
03:20The Triber is powered by a 1L petrol engine with natural aspiration.
03:24The output is 72 horsepower.
03:27The torque is 96 Nm.
03:31It is shifted via a manual 5-speed gearbox or an automated pendulum.
03:36If desired, a retrofitted CNG system can also be installed by authorized Renault dealers.
03:42Anyone interested in the new Renault Triber should note that prices in India range from around 8,000 euros to 11,000 euros, depending on the equipment.
03:56This makes the Triber a very affordable option in the compact family vehicle segment.
