00:03Today, it's all about the new Ford Explorer Tremor,
00:06which finally represents a true off-road version of the popular SUV.
00:12With larger tires, a chassis raised by around 2 cm and additional underbody protection,
00:17it continues to show that the Explorer can now do more than just glide comfortably over asphalt.
00:24The Explorer Tremor joins other robust Ford models such as the Maverick,
00:28the Expedition and the F-150, which already bear the Trurr label.
00:35For the 2026 model year, Ford is launching a more off-road capable version with this variant,
00:40which features, among other things, a specially tuned suspension with improved approach and
00:45departure angles. The corners are fitted with 18-inch rims with Bridgestone DLER all-terrain rims.
00:52There are also striking orange toe eyes and other accents in the color electric spice,
00:59which give the vehicle a unique look.
01:03Under the hood, the familiar 3L EcoBoost V6 engine, which is also used in the Explorer ST,
01:09is standard. It delivers a whopping 406 horsepower and 563 newton-meters of torque.
01:16Alternatively, Ford also offers a 2.3-liter four-cylinder with around 304 horsepower.
01:25All-wheel drive is also standard, as is a limited-slip differential and robust underbody
01:30protection, which is advantageous for serious off-road use.
01:33Inside, the Traymore presents itself with the so-called Ford Digital Experience System as well
01:41as the Driver Assistance Technology Co-Pilot 360 Inversion 2.0 Assist.
01:48Those who want can order additional extras such as a massage function for the front seats,
01:52a B&O sound system with 14 speakers or the semi-autonomous driving function Blue Cruise 1.5.
01:58Although Ford has not yet revealed the official price, an initial estimate can be made based on
02:05the current price list. The top model Explorer ST currently starts at around âŹ60,000.
02:13The TRER is likely to be slightly lower or even higher, depending on the equipment.
02:19A starting price in the range of around âŹ55,000 is quite conceivable.
