04:26wirklich, wirklich fast,
04:27und es ist eine absolute Honour
04:29zu sein mit diesem Team.
04:30So, ich bin ein T4 Parapelagic,
04:33so ich kann nicht meine Legen,
04:34so Brian Hurta Autosport und Hyundai
04:37haben eine vollen Hand-Control-System
04:41in partnership with Bosch.
04:43So, I use a Bosch electronic braking system
04:46to produce brake pressure that I use
04:48by squeezing a ring with my hands.
06:33ein paar Fahrrad-Dynamik,
06:35die Fahrrad ist sehr leer,
06:36weil es nicht möglich ist.
06:37Es gibt nur noch einen Rennen.
06:39Die Fahrrad-Dynamik
06:40auf eine Fahrrad-Dynamik
06:42auf die Fahrrad-Dynamik
06:43kann das Fahrrad-Dynamik
06:44nutzen.
06:45Die Fahrrad-Dynamik
06:47werden wir gefÀhrdet.
06:48Die Fahrrad-Dynamik
06:49kann man die Fahrrad-Dynamik
06:51auf die Fahrrad-Dynamik
06:52einfach nicht mehr nach vorne
06:53die Fahrrad-Dynamik
06:54sehr gut.
06:55Wir machen die Fahrrad-Dynamik
06:56So for brake changes and small mechanical issues, the team can repair the car in the pit lane.
07:02But for bigger crashes or major issues, the car should be brought pedoxide and it can be replaced.
07:11And it doesn't get hit by Daniel, it doesn't get hit.
07:14It absolutely does, it's the 831, it is the 831 second place car.
07:18So unfortunate for the team, we're in a code 60 and I did not expect him to go for such a small gap on the left.
07:27I was unable to continue after that because of all the damage that it caused.
07:31Yeah, code 60 is a special thing here at the Nurburgring, that means we have no safety car.
07:35You have to drive 60k until you reach the green flag and from the green flag on you are allowed to accelerate again.
07:42Even after 24 hours of wheel-to-wheel battling, it can come down to near seconds at the end.
08:12Since 2016, after we finalized the first Nurburgring 24 hours race, a lot has changed over the past 10 years.
08:19In Korea, junior driver programs have opened the door to more racers.
08:24And now, thanks to the growing familiarity with N1 and TCL cars in China and the US,
08:30drivers from around the world can take on the 24 hours race challenge.
08:35The result wasn't achieved overnight.
08:37Through countless rounds of car development, testing, and real-world racing,
08:42we identified issues, improved them, and ultimately build a near-perfect winning machine and the team behind it.
08:50And N1 has proven its technology and endurance by entering actual production models in the 24 hours race.
08:57Once again, we've proven that value this year.
09:00We will keep challenging, and we will succeed again.

10:33Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the End Day 2025 here at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
10:42My name is Becky Evans and I'm delighted to be your host today.
10:45Now whether you're a lifelong car enthusiast like myself, a thrill seeker, or somebody who
10:51simply believes that cars are more than machines, we welcome you. Today you will be the first to
10:57see the all-new IONX 6N. Not only that, you will also witness a commitment towards the future
11:03of driving by Hyundai N. So to walk us through the journey N has taken over the past 10 years
11:09and where it's heading, please welcome the head of N Management Group, June Park.
11:21Wow, excited. Thanks, Becky. Hello, everyone. My name is June Park with the capital letter N here.
11:292025 is a very special year for us as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hyundai N.
11:38It was an honor for me to start N at the very beginning,
11:43eyewitnessing its growth with better cars, stronger race results, and passionate fans.
11:49Let me begin with my most cherished memory of N. This is our first 100 fans and their brand new
11:59I-30 N first edition at the Neuburgring Nordschleife. Neuburgring is our second home,
12:07a place where we dedicate the brand, our brand N. N was launched in 2015 with the N 2025 Vision
12:16Grand Trizmo, which envisioned a sustainable high-performance future powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
12:25In 2016, our prototype 2.0 turbo engine was raced at the Neuburgring 24-hour race
12:32as a part of its development program. Since then, we developed N with the three pillars,
12:40corner rescue, race rate capability, and everyday sports car.
12:44And a year later, the I-30 N finally arrived as our first production model.
12:53This was the moment that we celebrate together with our first 100 fans.
12:59In 2018, we expanded globally with the launch of Veloster N and I-30 Fastback N.
13:06In 2019, our first WRC Manufacturer Championship was achieved alongside our winning form in WTCR a year earlier.
13:19COVID could not contain our growth with the new I-20N and electric motorsports with the Veloster N ETCR.
13:28By 2021, our lineup had expanded to six different models with the launch of Kona N and famous Elantra N.
13:402022 marked the acceleration of our electrification strategy with the debut of RN22E,
13:49which is a rolling lap for IONIQ 5N and IONIQ 6N, and the iconic N-Vision 74 behind.
13:58The groundbreaking IONIQ 5N was launched here at Goodwood Festival Suite in 2023,
14:05and set the new standard of high-performance electric vehicle.
14:09In 2024, we announced the RN24, an experimental rolling lap combining our decade-long WRC experience
14:20combined with our award-winning IONIQ 5N to show the future of electric N.
14:28As we cross the finish line of our first decade, some might ask, are we at the finish line?
14:35Instead, now we find ourselves at the starting line again.
14:42Hyundai N is a brand designed and engineered to showcase Hyundai's most advanced technologies.
14:50In a world where speed and horsepower has become commonplace,
14:55our performance vision is simply defined by fun to drive.
15:00And it all starts in motorsports, connected to our rolling lap project.
15:07We compete against the toughest competition and achieved multiple championships in both WRC and TCR World War.
15:16We also achieved our fifth consecutive TCR victory at the New Brookings 24-hour race last month.
15:23The unique sound and N-E shifting in the IONIQ 5N, also IONIQ 6N,
15:30is an example of new ideas we experiment through our rolling lap development.
15:37Winning motorsports DNA not only results in better N models,
15:42but it also improves the overall Hyundai DNA.
15:46This is why N exists.
15:49Our future lineup will preserve the ethos of Hyundai N and expand the choices for future fans.
15:58That means our future is not only limited to EVs,
16:03but we will pursue internal combustion and hybrid powertrains,
16:08as well as the fully electric powertrains.
16:11N is created for all of you here,
16:15the enthusiast drivers around the world.
16:17Your enthusiasm powers our brand.
16:22For the next presentation,
16:24let me introduce Executive Vice President of Global Operations Division,
16:29Mr. Young Lee.
16:38Thank you, Jun.
16:40It's a great honor to be here today in front of so many enthusiastic fans.
16:47It was our first Festival of Speed in 2023,
16:52and a special moment for our first high-performance EV and big boost for future events.
17:00Thanks to the good festival of Speed,
17:05we are able to build on only momentum.
17:09And I required N achieve massive success from the media review
17:15and award the 2024 World Performance Cup.
17:21Motor Sport is the core of N,
17:25and there was no exception for our first EV.
17:29IONIQ 5 N,
17:32E and 1 cup car is based on the production car's high capabilities.
17:38This allows us to race using the same battery,
17:45motor, and cooling system from our production car.
17:49We enter the famous Five-Speak International Hill Climb with IONIQ 5 and TA-SPAC and achieve a class win.
18:02The RN24 Rolling Lab combine our real experience of World Rally Championship with IONIQ 5 N.
18:12And this research points to the future of a lighter, more agile, and exciting to drive EVs.
18:21And finally, today, here we are confident to unleash full potential of the IONIQ 6 N.
18:31However, before we share our story of IONIQ 6 N,
18:36please welcome a very special guest,
18:40it's Grace Duke of Richmond.
18:50Your Grace, we would like to thank you for joining us on this very special occasion.
18:54Now, when we speak to the M brand,
18:55they stressed how important 2023's Festival of Speed was for the brand
19:00and the success of their first EV.
19:02And we would be honored if you could offer us a few words of encouragement.
19:06Well, 2023 was the very first time we hosted Hyundai N at Goodwood.
19:15And we were delighted to play a part in their story of pushing,
19:20really pushing the boundaries of electric high-performance technology in recent years.
19:25And it was a big high point for the Festival of Speed.
19:27And at Goodwood, as you all know, we very much celebrate the past, present, and the future.
19:32We're also very eager to see how new technologies expand the joy of mobility,
19:38which is, of course, why we're all here and why we love what we do.
19:41The whole driving experience, man and machine, is really important to what we do at Goodwood and to our future.
19:48It's something we all want to hold on to, and that is exactly what we are celebrating here today.
19:52And in that sense, Hyundai N has and continues to be a perfect fit for the Goodwood Festival of Speed and all that happens here on the estate.
20:02We're delighted that they have once again chosen Goodwood to showcase their spectacular new vehicle.
20:11And much look forward, we all much look forward to seeing its dynamic debut here on Goodwood's Famous Hill.
20:19Thank you, Your Grace, for your kind encouragement and for hosting such a meaningful event for Car Enthusiast.
20:28Yes, thank you, Your Grace. We truly appreciate the opportunity to be part of this special occasion.
20:33Now, may I kindly ask yourself and Mr. Lee to sit at the designated spots as we approach the moment we've all been waiting for.
20:40And now, let's welcome the all-new IONX 6N!
21:10Please give a big round of applause for young Lee and the Duke of Richmond.
21:16Okay, next, to tell us about the IONX 6N's stunning design, it is my great pleasure to welcome to the stage the head of Hyundai Design Europe, Eduardo Ramirez.
21:28Thank you, Becky.
21:29Thank you.
21:34What a fantastic place to be.
21:37Every time we come to Goodwood, the feeling is electric.
21:41The sound, the energy, the shared passion.
21:44It never loses its magic.
21:47As a designer and car enthusiast, there is nothing more exciting than sharing a car like this with those who truly feel the thrill.
21:56Because that's why we designed in the first place, to create something that connects with people.
22:04And that's exactly how we work at Hyundai.
22:08With a deep commitment to customer-centric design that understands our customers' needs and aspirations.
22:16And to enrich their lives with meaningful and emotional design solutions.
22:22We begin by studying their lifestyles, their values, and even their unspoken needs.
22:30A foundation that enables us to create a broad bandwidth in design.
22:35From the small and playful Insta, full of character, to the large and confident Pali set.
22:42Each was designed to fit to a different lifestyle.
22:46But they all have one thing in common.
22:50They begin with the customer.
22:53And for this car, something more than just a machine.
22:57We began with a very special group.
23:00The enthusiasts.
23:02The passionate fans who never just drive.
23:06The ones who look for emotion in every turn.
23:10Connection in every detail.
23:12And joy in every drive.
23:14Two years ago, RN22E Rolling Lab stood here at Goodwood after its global debut in 2022.
23:26A true rolling lab and a clear statement of intent created by the bold passion and vision of our engineers and designers.
23:36And just a few months ago, in Seoul, we revealed the new IONIQ-6 and IONIQ-6 N-line.
23:45Shaped by motion itself.
23:49And defined by the sleek and streamlined silhouette.
23:53But we had one more thing waiting in the shadows.
23:57A glimpse of what was coming next.
24:00Something every designer has dreamed of.
24:03It's a joke.
24:18It's a joke.
24:19It's a joke.
24:22It's a joke.
24:26Das war's fĂŒr heute.
24:56Ja, und heute haben wir endlich die Geschichte mit dieser lange-awaiten Icon.
25:03Die all-neu Ioniq 6N stands out right away mit ihren wide-body und extendeden Fenders,
25:10giving es eine muscular, planted-stanz.
25:13Von der Seite, die Schott-Front-Overhand gibt es eine agile Profile,
25:18while the longer rear adds tension and power.
25:23And thanks to its extended wheelbase, the proportions appear more dynamic,
25:29showing its readiness for the race.
25:32This powerful presence is further accentuated by the new color, Performance Blue Pearl.
25:39It carries forward the iconic identity of the original Performance Blue,
25:46and it's now enriched with a white-pearled clear coat,
25:51revealing a deeper and more premium expression of high performance.
25:54At the front, it wears a distinctive N-mask,
26:00framed by the winglets and the luminous orange accent line
26:04that traces the edge of the front splitter
26:07and wraps around the entire body,
26:10highlighting its aggressive, race-ready stance.
26:14At the back, the rear wing commands attention,
26:20a bold statement that speaks pure performance.
26:23And beneath it, the flash 2D pixel lighting
26:26stretches across the rear to distinguish it as an Ioniq.
26:32But it's not just about the looks.
26:34Every single detail was designed for performance.
26:38The active air flap and the front splitter optimize drag and aero balance.
26:45The air curtains guide the airflow around the bumper and wheels,
26:50while the forged 20-inch lightweight aero wheels help reduce turbulence.
26:56The rear wing generates significant downforce,
27:00working together with the rear undercover and diffuser
27:03that manage airflow and enhance high-speed stability.
27:07And together, all these details speak the unmistakable language of N.
27:15And the story continues inside,
27:18because the all-new Ioniq 6N is a car that makes your heart race
27:23the moment you see it,
27:25and even more so once you are behind the wheel.
27:30It's a performance sanctuary,
27:32built with true motorsport energy.
27:35Bucket seats for support,
27:38Alcantara surfaces,
27:40checkered graphics to reinforce its racing spirit.
27:44It's a space designed to sharpen driving instincts
27:47and bring the driver into perfect alignment with the car.
27:52The all-new Ioniq 6N is the result of our designers' and engineers'
27:59relentless passion,
28:01obsession,
28:02and love for performance.
28:04A car built for those who never just drive.
28:08Thank you for being part of this moment,
28:10and we hope you feel the same excitement
28:13as we did bringing this car to life.
28:15Now, please welcome,
28:18Head of Vehicle Design Tech Unit,
28:20Mr. Manfred Harrer.
28:24Thank you.
28:28Good afternoon.
28:30Well, welcome.
28:31I'd like to focus more,
28:33now more a little bit,
28:34on the technical side of the high-performance car.
28:37And when we talk about the Ioniq 6N,
28:41we talk about five dimensions
28:43we developed and optimized for this great car.
28:47High-power electric drive motors at front and rear.
28:51Performance battery with a state-of-the-art cooling system.
28:55A performance-oriented mechanical chassis.
28:58Mechatronic control systems.
29:00And don't forget the immersive driver experience.
29:04Before we dive into the chassis engineering,
29:07I'd like to begin with the power electrification system.
29:10Please welcome Dong-Hee Han,
29:12Head of Electrified Propulsion Development Tech Unit.
29:22So, thank you, Manfred.
29:25Hello.
29:26It is truly an honor to be here today,
29:29where we unleash the technology of the new Ioniq 6N in full display.
29:35Let's go straight into the headline figures.
29:39Ioniq 6N is basically the quickest and highest-performing EV Hyundai has ever made.
29:45But as any Hyundai N cars,
29:47there is a story beyond the numbers.
29:50Many people like to say that motor is already well understood,
29:54quite mature technology,
29:56and no room for innovation.
29:58Let's look into whether this is actually true.
30:00For the Ioniq 6N application,
30:03we definitely focused to improve the motor and battery delaying.
30:07It was partly achieved by enhancing the magnet properties
30:10and also the cooling of the system.
30:12But the core of the delaying,
30:14the delaying point,
30:15is to improve the efficiency of the motor system
30:19at high-speed track driving conditions.
30:21Let's talk about what differentiates
30:23Hyundai's motor system in this respect.
30:26The operation of a motor is all about
30:30generating a smoothly rotating magnetic field
30:33using alternating current AC.
30:36Invertors normally do this job.
30:38Contrary to normal inverters,
30:40which use one set of switching devices,
30:43consisting of six switches,
30:44we actually use two.
30:46One set with highly efficient silicon carbide switches,
30:50and the other set with normal silicon IGBT switches.
30:53In addition to this,
30:55we have a special mode-changing switches as well.
30:58You could see that we have a unique
31:00and specially designed power module
31:02inside our inverter,
31:04fully dedicated for this purpose.
31:06When the switches are closed,
31:09the AC generated in the main silicon carbide inverter
31:12actually drives the motor.
31:14This connection forms high inductance,
31:16and also with more efficient silicon carbide switches,
31:19we can achieve high efficiency,
31:21especially in low-speed normal driving conditions
31:24under 160 kW range.
31:28In the meantime,
31:29when the switches are open,
31:30both inverter sets are activated,
31:33and the resulting voltage differences
31:34between these two ACs
31:37actually drives the motor.
31:38In this way,
31:39we could expose the inductors of the motor
31:41into a lower current
31:43and improve the power and efficiency
31:46in high-speed track driving conditions.
31:49So we could imagine that it is acting very similarly
31:52as a conventional transmission,
31:55but operated by electrical switches
31:57better than the mechanical devices,
32:00and therefore,
32:01it acts seamlessly
32:02and literally lightning fast,
32:05and also makes the system super efficient
32:07in the track driving.
32:09And believe me,
32:10in high performance,
32:11efficiency actually means power.
32:14With that,
32:15let's shift gears
32:16and explore our battery thermal management,
32:18which play a critical role
32:20in battery temperature conditioning.
32:23We've optimized the power
32:24of the battery heating and cooling,
32:26and this helps the battery
32:27to reach the optimized temperatures
32:29for the high-performance driving
32:31more promptly.
32:33These are only small portion
32:34of the story
32:35that our engineers have created.
32:37But for the complete story,
32:39we hope that you could experience
32:40the car yourself.
32:43With that,
32:43I'd like to ask Manfred
32:44for the more exciting remaining stories
32:47for our Unix 6M.
32:48Thank you.
32:54So, thank you very much,
32:56Dongy,
32:56for your insightful look
32:58in the power electrification system,
33:00very deep.
33:00I would like to direct you now
33:04your attention to the chassis.
33:06And this is a crucial improvement
33:09in the Unix 6M.
33:11We developed a new stiffer wheel carrier
33:14and lowered the roll center height.
33:16With the help of higher spring rates
33:18and damping coefficient,
33:19we are controlling the roll
33:21of the vehicle significantly
33:23and improve the mechanical grip
33:25of the new performance tires.
33:27The wheel carrier
33:28has also optimized caster trail
33:30to improve the steering feel
33:32and the steering feedback,
33:33especially at the handling limit.
33:35The control system
33:37I want to highlight
33:38consists of in-house developed
33:40four-wheel drive system
33:42in combination
33:42with our torque vectoring
33:44at the rear.
33:46The system ensures
33:47outstanding traction
33:48and driving agility
33:50and is calibrated
33:51for a predictable
33:52and easy-to-control vehicle.
33:55In the end,
33:56the system elevates traction
33:58agility and stability.
34:01And here is now an overview
34:03about our unique N features
34:06which we implement in the car.
34:08First is the N Active Sound Plus,
34:12a new sound concept
34:13inspired by the N Motorsport.
34:16We improved hereby
34:17the sound characteristics
34:18along with upgraded audio processor
34:21and speakers.
34:26Sounds good, eh?
34:27The N e-shift
34:30inspired by our race transmission,
34:33our unique shift feature
34:34simulates now
34:35shorter gear ratio
34:36at lower speed
34:37delivering more shifts
34:39and more fun.
34:40So, I like it.
34:58The N-ambient shift light
35:01indicates the right moment
35:03to shift with the steering pedal
35:04in a manual drive mode
35:06and our N-drift optimizer
35:08makes the car highly adjustable
35:10with individual control
35:12of drift initiation,
35:14slip angle,
35:16wheel spin
35:16for better controllability
35:17to meet every driver's preference.
35:20And finally,
35:22the N-track manager
35:23improves your driving skills
35:25based on recorded
35:27and processed driving data
35:28and we also have
35:29a real-time ghost car
35:30for you,
35:31visualized for you
35:33and you can compete with.
35:35With all the feedback
35:36we received
35:37from your fans,
35:39from the customers,
35:40ideas coming
35:41from our passionate engineers,
35:43we improved
35:44each single further
35:45and hereby
35:46we kept always in mind
35:48N stands for
35:49fun to drive.
35:52And for the final session,
35:53let's bring Jun back
35:54to the stage.
35:55Thank you, Young,
36:05and thank you, Eduardo,
36:07Manfred,
36:08and Dong Yi
36:09for the great
36:10and passionate presentation.

37:11Performance.
37:12It's the same IONIQ 6N
37:29but different taste,
37:31right?
37:31If somebody wants
37:32to have a little bit
37:33more gentle
37:34and sophisticated one,
37:36this is the choice.
37:37And if somebody
37:38like me,
