00:14Today, we're talking about the Hyundai IONIQ 6N with brand new performance parts that transform the already eye-catching electric model into an incompromising sports machine.
00:24The first thing you notice when you look at the IONIQ 6 is its streamlined silhouette.
00:30An aerodynamic dream with a drag coefficient of just over 0.2.
00:36But the new N-Vion, especially with the performance kit, deliberately brakes with this line and instead focuses on downforce and racetrack performance.
00:45With a drag coefficient of 0.27, the IONIQ 6N shows that driving dynamics clearly take precedence over efficiency.
00:52Particularly impressive is the huge double-decker rear wing made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic, which breaks up the clear lines of the basic model and gives the vehicle an aggressive touch.
01:04Mounted on two solid supports, it ensures noticeably greater stability at high speeds, according to Hyundai.
01:13It is supported by a CFRP rear diffuser, while at the front of the vehicle a striking CFRP front splitter absorbs the incoming air and directs it specifically under the vehicle.
01:24A deflector guides the airflow further, which according to the manufacturer reduces lift on the front axle.
01:32The package also includes sporty CFRP side skirts, which round off the aerodynamic package both visually and functionally.
01:39The wheels have also been revised.
01:43The new wheel set consists of forged lightweight rims in 20-inch format, which weigh just over 13 kilograms each and are therefore around 1.3 kilograms lighter than the standard wheels.
01:53The sporty Pirelli P05 tires in the format 7530R20 ensure a high level of grip, with the focus here clearly being on performance and not on maximum range as with the standard versions of the IONIQ 6 with their rolling resistance-optimized tires.
02:11In terms of technology, the Hyundai IONIQ 6N, on the other hand, remains untouched.
02:19The electric all-wheel drive continues to deliver 609 horsepower and a maximum torque of 770 newm.
02:26In the so-called boost mode, the power even increases to 650 horsepower.
02:31This allows the electric sports car to sprint from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.2 seconds.
02:37The top speed is electronically limited to 25 kilometers per hour.
02:44Digital gadgets such as the artificially simulated transmission in ESFT, the engine sound in Active Sound Plus and the track tool in Track Manager are also on board and further enhance the sporty driving experience.
02:58As for the prices, Hyundai has not yet released any official information about the performance kit.
03:03However, given the extensive use of carbon fiber parts and special wheels, it can be assumed that it will not be a cheap pleasure.
03:15An additional charge in the range of several thousand euros can probably be expected.
