In diesem Video klĂ€ren wir, was wirklich hinter MOQBA steckt.

00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today, we're talking about Suzuki and the allegedly marketed robot dog transporter Amor.
00:12Since May 2025, there has been a rumor circulating on the internet that Suzuki has launched a transportable robot dog called Makuba, priced at just around 2,800 euros.
00:22Numerous posts on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook show a picture of a man riding a large robot dog.
00:33But what's really behind this story?
00:38In fact, MMOA, which stands for Modular Quadrant Architecture, is a concept vehicle that Suzuki presented at the Japan Mobility Show in October 2023.
00:47The modular robot is not available as a product, but has so far only existed as a technological vision.
00:56The aim is to support people with mobility impairments by allowing the vehicle to climb stairs and negotiate difficult terrain.
01:05It is supposed to move around on flat roads with the help of wheels, while legs are used for rough terrain.
01:13The special feature of Makuba lies in its flexibility.
01:17Depending on the situation, the system can be used in three different configurations as a seat, standing platform, or carrying device.
01:26This should make it possible to transport both people and goods to hard-to-reach areas, such as in disaster relief operations or in confined urban environments.
01:37However, Suzuki never mentioned a sales price or a market country.
01:41The original press release and a video from Reuters about the trade fair also confirmed that it is a pure concept that still requires development work.
01:50The image of a man on a supposed robot dog that was circulating on social media is also not authentic.
02:00Several image recognition tools classified it as AI generated with a high probability, with a hit rate of up to 99%.
02:07As of June 2025, Suzuki has not publicly commented on the rumor that such a robot dog is ready for series production or will be sold.
02:23Even when asked, there has been no confirmation so far that a corresponding product is in development.
02:34The story is a classic example of the mixture of reality and fiction that spreads quickly on social networks and shows how an ambitious concept can turn into a viral hoax.
02:43As always, you can read the full article in the video description.
