00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about the most brutal model in the Defender series,
00:07the new Land Rover Defender OZ2 Black.
00:10This special edition combines maximum performance with an incompromisingly dark design
00:15and is a real highlight for anyone looking for an SUV with presence and power.
00:20The Defender Octa Black is not only a visual statement, but also a technical powerhouse.
00:25With its 4.4-liter V8 buturbo petrol engine,
00:30it delivers a whopping 635 horsepower and an impressive 749 newton-meters to the road.
00:38This allows the powerful all-wheel-drive vehicle to sprint to 100 kilometers per hour
00:42in just 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of up to 250 kilometers per hour.
00:49Visually, the OZ2 Black is a prime example of understatement with maximum effect.
00:56The body is painted in deep Narvik black, probably the darkest color in the Land Rover range.
01:03The vehicle comes in a high-gloss finish as standard,
01:06but can optionally be fitted with a matte protective film to lend the vehicle even more character.
01:11The look is complemented by 30 details in black, including satin-finished skid plates,
01:20black towing eyes, a gloss black exhaust system with four tailpipes,
01:24a black radiator grille and dark silver Defender lettering.
01:26The design is also continued on the wheels.
01:33Buyers can choose between 20 or 22-inch wheels in high-gloss black.
01:39Black hubcaps and a brake system with gloss black brake calipers complete the look.
01:43The interior continues seamlessly in the dark.
01:48Black dominates the cockpit, from the powder-coated cross-member to the controls and steering wheel.
01:54The interior can optionally be designed with a chopped carbon finish,
02:00which lends the interior a modern, technical touch.
02:04The seats are made of black semi-aniline leather with square accents.
02:09This combination is not only visually appealing, but also pleasing to the touch.
02:14The seats also feature perforated inserts and striking contrasting stitching in the upper area of the backrests.
02:20In addition to the increased performance and exclusive looks,
02:25the auto black also benefits from the latest model updates for the 206 model year.
02:32These include revised lighting graphics, a larger screen with a diagonal of 13.1 inches,
02:37as well as new color and material options.
02:42An official price for the auto black has not yet been announced.
02:47However, given the equipment and performance,
02:49the starting price is likely to be in the region of around 190,000 euros.
