00:00But I want to ask you this, Paul, because were you surprised that I'm not saying like the energy was flat at the little part of practice that that we can watch, which is like warm ups in Indy or individual.
00:12Are you surprised that the fan base is acting like someone died?
00:17Like it's everyone's so somber.
00:19So like you lost Malik Nabors. Why is everyone more, I guess, more sad that they lost Cam Scadaboo over losing Malik Nabors, who was a proven playmaker and top wide receiver in this league?
00:34You know, I think it's more about the losing than the losing Cam Scadaboo.
00:38You know, look, everyone loves Cam Scadaboo.
00:40You know, don't you feel cheated that we're not going to see him down the stretch in the second half?
00:44You just feel cheated. You want to watch him play.
00:45You want to watch Malik Nabors. And, you know, it's not about rooting for someone.
00:49I mean, any great player, you don't want to see them go down.
00:52I mean, we love sports because we want to watch great players and young players.
00:57We want to watch them. We don't want to see them wheeled off and in rehab.
01:00But look, that's the reality of the NFL and of sports.
01:03But I think, look, two weeks ago we mentioned it, and I think you called me Debbie Downer or, you know, criticized me.
01:11Their highest moment, right?
01:13They beat the Eagles at home on Thursday night football, 34-17.
01:17It was a great moment for the Giants and for Scadaboo, three touchdowns, and for Jackson Dart, you know, beating the Eagles.
01:24And, you know, really the offensive and defensive lines beat up the Eagles' offensive and defensive lines.
01:29It was a great night.
01:30And then I pointed out, okay, the next time they come back to MetLife Stadium, it will be in November,
01:37and they will have played at Denver and at Philadelphia.
01:41So let's see if they can win a game or two and if they can come back.
01:46They were two and four, right?
01:47If they can come back three and five or four and four, that would be unbelievable.
01:51If they can come back, you know, winning a game or two, now we have a season going into November and they're home.
01:57And I said, I don't know if they can do it.
01:59Denver's a heck of a good team and the Eagles are the Eagles or the Giants going to sweep the Eagles in a series.
02:05And what happened?
02:06For three quarters, my Debbie Downer was completely irrelevant because they looked great, you know,
02:12and then they collapsed in Denver.
02:13We know that.
02:14And then they, you know, they played like they have over the years in Philadelphia,
02:18and they were not very competitive and they lost.
02:20So now they're two and six.
02:21So I think fans are like, we're two and six, we're in last place, we're not fighting for anything.
02:27People got too high after the Eagles game because they're so starved for something.
02:32They're starved for it.
02:34So they got too high and now they're probably too low because they're two and six.
02:39And here we go again.
02:40We're always two and six, three straight years, two and six, you know,
02:44and now, you know, what do we have to watch other than Jackson Dart?
02:46So I get it.
02:47I get it.
02:48I mean, I think we all felt a little flat after they lost.
02:50And then Cam Scadaboo goes down like, eh, you know, what's next?
02:55Giants fans only operate on the two extremes.
02:58It's either you're the highest of all highs or it is the lowest of all lows.
03:03It's like, oh, we're going to the Super Bowl.
03:05We're the greatest thing in the world.
03:06Look at all the swag and all the dances.
03:08And then it's like the movie Waterboy.
03:10Oh, no, we suck again.
