Ab 2026 eröffnet zudem ein 100 Hektar großer Erlebnis-Campus in New York.

00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about an extraordinary vehicle that sets new standards in luxury, craftsmanship and electromobility.
00:10The first ultra-luxury car from Decora Motors.
00:15Decora Motors is a new American company that is challenging the Cadillac Solastat with an impressive debut.
00:21With a deliberately minimalist, completely modular interior concept that completely dispenses with plastic and instead relies on materials such as hardwood, woven wool and non-toxic bio-renewable leather, Decora wants to define new standards.
00:37The cockpit is particularly innovative.
00:41Instead of a classic screen, the display is hidden behind a semi-transparent wood paneling when not in use.
00:47Information such as navigation or system settings are projected onto the wood when needed.
00:55A radical brake with screen-dominated interiors.
00:58All controls are analog, mechanical and designed for muscle memory, not distraction.
01:05The aim is a sensual, slow-paced driving experience.
01:08The interior can also be adapted to the season with semi-annual material collections comparable to fashion, wool in winter, linen in summer, as well as limited special materials for individual expression.
01:23The seating configuration can also be customized from three to seven seats, including an executive lounge area or a family-friendly bench solution.
01:32Each seat has its own climate and lighting control.
01:35The floor height is individually adjustable to ergonomically suit every body size.
01:42Even personal materials such as an heirloom wood can be integrated into the interior design on request.
01:48The vehicle is lovingly handcrafted in the Hudson Valley near New York using exclusively American components.
01:56Decora sees itself as a manufacturer that consciously produces locally.
02:00Demand is already enormous.
02:02Even before production has started, reservations have already reached more than one and a half times the planned annual volume.
02:09The starting price is around €460,000.
02:14Decora Motors was founded by MIT-trained engineers Christy and Eric D'Ambrosio Coral.
02:21Christy, who is also CEO, is the first woman to start her own automotive company and lead it to the top.
02:28A historic moment.
02:29It is supported by the Female Founders Fund, a venture capitalist that focuses specifically on women-led companies.
02:38Together, Christy and Eric bring over 30 years of experience in product design, systems engineering and hardware innovation.
02:44The model was designed in collaboration with the renowned Italian design house Pinin in Farina and visually reflects the elegant design language of the streamlined Moderna of the 1930s, with long hoods, sculptural fenders and an expressive fastback hatch.
03:00The electric vehicle delivers over 800 horsepower, offers an estimated range of over 650 kilometers and offers 45 centimeters of legroom in the rear.
03:17The trunk holds around 700 L and can be adapted in many ways.
03:25A hybrid drive is also available on request.
03:28In addition to the technology, the brand philosophy is in the foreground.
03:33Deora does not simply sell cars, but creates a personal experience.
03:36Every customer is assigned a personal consultant for the entire configuration process.
03:43The Hudson Valley Garage will also open by 2026 at the latest.
03:48A 100-acre property with a design studio, production facilities, accommodations, and exclusive events.
03:54New vehicle owners will receive symbolic keys that grant them access to all areas and events, including meetings with designers and craftspeople.
