00:00Right on target, Salah raves about dirt as he prepares to stop him Sunday.
00:04And here's what he had to say about the Giants' new QB1.
00:08He is uber talented.
00:09I understand why Dayball went to the blue tent.
00:12I probably would have went too.
00:14I mean, kid's good, man.
00:16He's a really, really, really good kid.
00:18I think New York hit on this one, big time.
00:20You know what?
00:21That's exactly what buyer's remorse sounds like.
00:25You talk about coulda, shoulda, or woulda.
00:27If Zach Wilson coulda played as half as good as Dart, the Jets shoulda won some games they
00:33were supposed to, and Robert Salah and Joe Douglas woulda kept their jobs and looked like
00:37absolutely geniuses for drafting that kid second overall.
00:42But you know what?
00:43I think I've heard what I needed to hear about Dart from some football minds that we all know
00:47and respect.
00:48First it was Sean Payton, and now it's Robert Salah.
00:52Giants fans, you haven't seen or heard a head coach and defensive coordinator speak so highly
00:57about one of your quarterbacks since, what, prime Eli days?
01:02The hype is real, and this kid has a stamp of approval around the NFL.
01:07But now, it's all about getting him more weapons and beefing up the protection to make sure
01:12you get the most out of him, and you do that in the offseason.
01:16Dave Gettleman got Daniel Jones, Kenny Galladay, and Nate Soder in free agency, and he drafted
01:21Kadarius Toney in the first round.
01:24No disrespect to any one of those guys, but all of those guys were premier picks and signings
01:29that got no ROI, return on investment.
01:32Get Jackson Dart what he wants and who he needs so you don't end up like a Robert Salah, a coulda,
01:39woulda, shoulda been good head coach with buyer's remorse.
