Der Opel Frontera GRAVEL feiert seine Premiere auf der XS Carnight in Wörthersee und zeigt, wie viel Offroad im neuen Elektro-SUV steckt. Das Konzeptfahrzeug kommt mit grobstolligen All-Terrain-Reifen, Seilwinde, DachgepĂ€cktrĂ€ger und auffĂ€lligem Design in „Desert Stone“.

Technisch basiert der GRAVEL auf dem Frontera Electric, wurde aber massiv fĂŒr den GelĂ€ndeeinsatz aufgerĂŒstet. ZusĂ€tzlich sorgen orange Akzente, LED-Zusatzscheinwerfer und funktionale Upgrades fĂŒr ein starkes Erscheinungsbild. Premiere ist am 30. Mai in der Messe Klagenfurt.

00:06An electric concept car that surprises with its off-road potential and cool looks.

00:22The stage for this statement is aptly chosen, the XS Car Night in Wartesee.
00:26A hotspot for car freaks and tuning enthusiasts,
00:31where the vehicle will be presented to the public for the first time on May 30th.
00:35Technically, the gravel is based on the new Frontera Electric,
00:39but has been significantly upgraded for use off-road.
00:45Coarse tread all-terrain tires on 16-inch Borbit rims, a winch,
00:49a massive front hook and side storage compartments
00:51underline the claim to genuine off-road capability.
00:56Added to this is an eye-catching desert stone wrap,
01:00which is complemented by a matte black roof
01:02and orange accents on the mirrors, spoilers and the Opel Lightning Bolt.
01:08A look that clearly signals that this is not a classic city SUV.
01:14Additional LED headlights on the roof and bonnet
01:17ensure good visibility when driving at night,
01:19while a grid-shaped roof rack provides additional functionality.
01:21Opel consistently follows the same lines in the interior.
01:29Black headliner, orange microfiber seats and a sporty, minimalist ambience
01:33create an atmosphere that is clearly geared towards adventure rather than everyday routine.
01:40Everything appears functional but well thought out,
01:43ideal for tours off-road or if you want to spend the night in the vehicle on a whim.
01:46Despite its concept status, the gravel is no gimmick.
01:52The technology comes directly from the Frontera Electric,
01:55which means fully electric drive.
01:58Solid range and modern infotainment.
02:01Although specific performance data is still lacking,
02:04the installed hardware shows that Opel not only wants to show what is possible with the gravel,
02:08but also what could come.
02:09The XS car night itself runs from May 28th to June 1st
02:15and transforms Clogginfort into a mecca for car fans.
02:18Those who are there will also see the Frontera gravel in the Opel Hall
02:22alongside show cars and big names in the scene.
