FBI agents raid home in Dearborn as part of an investigation into a terror plot.

The FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple people in Metro Detroit who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend.

00:00This is John Hewitt in Dearborn outside of a home on Middle Point Street which

00:06is near Tireman in Wyoming, one of the three locations raided by the FBI in the

00:11cities of Dearborn and Inkster earlier this morning. This video being shot

00:15around the noon hour. We're told by residents here that the activity began

00:19here in the range of about 6 or 630 in the morning. Some residents thought they

00:24heard gunfire, others thought it might be flash grenades that were used. According

00:29to the agency, they did make multiple arrests and break up what they are

00:34saying is a planned attack over the holiday weekend. Who or whom or what

00:39locations may have been targeted still to be determined. Agents continue to go over

00:44this home. Details also still to be determined as to, you know, the way air home

00:50lease car. Details still to be released as to who was arrested and what, again, they

00:57may have been targeting. This again is one of three locations that were raided

01:03earlier this morning. We hope to learn more from the FBI and of course when we do

01:07we'll share it with you on News Radio 950.
