00:00The Jeep Convoy concept is based on the 2025 Jeep Gladiator MOHA and was developed as a military-inspired conversion that not only looks reminiscent of past Jeep models, but is also technically prepared for demanding off-road use.
00:17This concept vehicle pays tribute to the long history of Jeep trucks. It begins with the Gladiator Esser, which was introduced in 1962 for the 1963 model year.
00:30This was the first Jeep truck developed specifically for civilian use after the Second World War.
00:37In the decades that followed, the Gladiator SJI evolved into the so-called J-Series, which was produced until 1987.
00:45The Convoy concept picks up on precisely this lineage and honors it with a clear commitment to the classic Jeep design language, especially the striking J-Truck nose design, which is particularly popular with both designers and Jeep fans.
01:00The Jeep Convoy concept has been significantly redesigned on the outside and now features a special matte paint finish in the color Ghost Orbs.
01:09The front end is a modern interpretation of the classic J-Truck look and includes a special hood and a redesigned front end, which integrates a powerful Vaughan winch with a towing capacity of approximately 5,400 kg.
01:24Particularly striking is the Soar-inspired sieve slot grill with embedded amber LED lighting facing forward, which is used for the first time.
01:35Other exclusive body elements include semi-raw doors made of chocolate brown canvas, as well as a matching roof and cargo area cover made of the same material.
01:46To ensure superior performance even in the most difficult terrain, the Convoy concept features extra-high wheel arches, 17-inch warning rims, and massive 40-inch DFG crawler off-road tires.
02:00The interior of the Jeep Convoy concept also remains true to its military inspiration.
02:07The floor surfaces and selected components are lined with a bed protection material in the special color Mills Beko D-Green, which is not only functionally robust but also visually matches the overall appearance.
02:19The seats inside have been replaced by low backs and are upholstered in heavily patinated brown leather that is reminiscent of the rough and tumbled everyday usability of earlier off-road vehicles.

02:44Vince I'm the Head of Design for Jeep and I'm here to introduce you to one of our Easter Jeep Safari concepts for 2025.
02:51So this one we call the Convoy and this started life as a 2025 Gladiator MOHA and what we wanted to do is give it a really military-uh inspired look.
03:01Uh so the first thing we did is look at our heritage and we did a completely new custom front end inspired by our 60s and 70s military.
03:09We call the J-Trucks of the time, so that's where you get this kind of slanted forward front.
03:14This one uh has high fenders on it as well to support these 40-inch KM3 tires.
03:21Now you'll notice the tread pattern on these is super blocky and we wanted this for rock crawling,
03:25but mainly the big centerpiece of this is the front end and the super military inspired look.
03:29Uh you'll notice the headlight, upper headlights and lower fog lights are both off-road specific super bright yellow uh lights that'll help you during the night.
03:40With the military heritage, one of the most powerful ways to show that is color.
03:44So on this one, we're featuring an all-new color, we call Ghost.
03:47It's finished in a matte finish with a matte clear coat.
03:50To complement that, we have this chocolate brown canvas adores and rufa color that we have used before.
03:59And then on the inside you notice that same ghost gray and a lot of black but then kind of a surprise of this aqua color that we put inside that was inspired by the military aircraft of the past.
04:09I think from the side you'll really see the lift that you get from these 40-inch tires and also we put an extra 2 inches in suspension.
04:17Here we at the back of the convoy and first thing you notice here is that the lift gate has been we changed the letters out with a more military inspired letter again from ours.
04:31And from this angle you can easily just see a peek of the interior color uh which is super bright aqua you wonder this is military inspired everything else is drab why is the interior this aqua this aqua blue aqua green color.
04:43So we were looking at military aircraft and we noticed a lot of them contrasting colors like greens and bless and what that does is it makes everything around you disappear.
04:51So you can focus just on the gauges which one we finished with a gloss black finish around them again to help focus your eye little cool story there inspired by some military aircraft.
