00:00Welcome to the video of the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:09Today, it's all about the brand new 2025 Jeep Commander.
00:13An exciting model that was developed for the Mexican market.
00:18Jeep, the popular brand of Stellantis, has created a three-row SUV that offers comfort, space and an affordable price-performance ratio.
00:26Unfortunately, this exciting vehicle remains unavailable not only to fans in the USA, but also in Europe.
00:35It is not offered here either.
00:38Too bad, because this SUV would certainly have been very well received in Germany and other European countries.
00:45The new Jeep Commander is built in Brazil and is based on the platform of the smaller Jeep Compass.
00:50Nevertheless, it offers space for up to seven people and ranks Mexico among Jeep's compact and mid-size SUVs.
01:00With a starting price of 734,900 Mexican pesos, which is equivalent to around 32,600 euros,
01:08it is significantly cheaper than a Jeep Grand Cherokee L, which is considerably more expensive in Mexico than in the USA or Europe.
01:15The Commander will be launched in the luxurious Overland trim, which impresses with numerous features.
01:24These include a two-tone exterior paint finish, 19-inch wheels, LED lighting, a 10.25-inch digital instrument display, and a 10.1-inch Uconnect infotainment system.
01:35The interior is enhanced by elegant brown Knapper leather.
01:42In addition, the Commander offers a variety of modern technologies, including a 450-watt Haran Kardon audio system,
01:50dual-zone air conditioning, and support for Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto.
01:56Five different exterior paint colors are available.
01:58Under the hood is a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine that produces 173 horsepower and 270 newton-meters of torque.
02:10This is combined with a six-speed automatic transmission, and although Jeep has not provided any information on the price of all-wheel drive,
02:17the Commander will probably be delivered with front-wheel drive.
02:20Unfortunately, the 2D25 Jeep Commander remains a vehicle that is exclusively intended for select markets such as Mexico and Brazil.
02:30It will also not be available in Europe or Germany.
02:34A real forbidden fruit, especially for SUV fans on this side of the Atlantic.
