00:00Cameroonian opposition leader Issa Chiroma Bakari has announced a new plan of action,
00:05calling on supporters to shut down the country for three days next week.
00:10In an audio message posted early on Friday, Chiroma urged citizens to cease all activities
00:15on November 3rd, 4th and 5th as part of what he called a nationwide ghost town protest.
00:21According to official results, Chiroma came second in the October 12th presidential vote,
00:26losing to incumbent Paul Beer, who's been in power since 1982.
00:31But Chiroma and his supporters say the results were manipulated
00:34and protesters have taken to the streets across the country.
00:38In the message, Chiroma said he'd been taken to a secure location for his protection.
00:43He urged his supporters to stay calm but determined, vowing that our victory will not be stolen.
