00:31The concept vehicle combines modern technologies, sustainable materials and an innovative design.
00:38The development was largely carried out at the Sherry Advanced Design Center Europe in Ronheim in Maine,
00:44where a team of 30 people designed the vehicle.
00:48With a length of 5.2 meters, a height of 1.87 meters and a width of 2.1 meters,
00:54the concept combines robustness with comfort and luxury for family travel.
01:00With the new Jirneo concept, we are taking on the challenge of making mobility even smarter,
01:05more efficient and more environmentally friendly, explains Jokun Tuing,
01:09managing director of Sherry's European Development and Design Center.
01:14The four-seater vehicle is designed for adventures off the beaten track
01:18and offers off-road capability while still offering luxurious features.
01:22Once you reach your destination, it can be converted into a mobile base cam.
01:29The aerodynamically optimized body is designed as a single-piece body and is designed for spaciousness.
01:36A movable instrument panel and an extendable tailgate extend the interior by 150 centimeters.
01:42The minimalist dashboard features a yoke steering wheel and concealed air outlets.
01:49Flexibility in the interior is achieved through movable front seats and a console on concealed rails.
01:56Two rows of seats with a centrally positioned island ensure an open interior design,
02:00while the front seats can be rotated 180 degrees.
02:03A special highlight is the 40 centimeters extendable rear bench seat,
02:09which creates additional space for relaxing.
02:13When extended to the maximum, the interior is transformed into a spacious lounge
02:17with an unobstructed view through the large glass hatch.
02:20The rear panoramic window is 1.3 meters large and provides impressive views,

02:30Additional comfort is provided by a modular front trunk,
02:34which is equipped with variable bench seats, a mobile kitchen and a grill.
02:39Removable door inserts, which can be used as cushions, further increase the versatility.
02:43The roof has solar cells that supply external devices with power and support the onboard electronics.
02:53A retractable umbrella and a shade providing cover increase comfort during longer periods outdoors.
03:00The vehicle is powered by a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine in combination with an electric motor.
03:06The plug-in hybrid drive enables an impressive range of up to 2,500 kilometers.
03:13The combustion engine acts as a so-called range extender,
03:17supplying the battery and the electric motor with energy.
03:21The body is made of over 55% hot rolled steel and an aluminum alloy.
03:28Safety features such as side airbags, rear airbags and extra-long curtain airbags are also integrated.
03:35The chassis is equipped with height-adjustable air suspension.
03:38The concept vehicle also features the Advanced Salat 5.0 Driver Assistance System,
03:45which offers functions such as intelligent scanning of the surroundings for optimized navigation at high speeds.
03:53In urban areas, the system supports parking.
03:58In the future, it should also be able to detect unpaved roads
04:01and automatically adjust the shock absorbers to the respective ground conditions.
