04:49A 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 194 horsepower and a 2.5-liter turbo engine with 285 horsepower without hybridization are also available for the U.S. market.

05:46However, stricter intervention thresholds often apply in the European market,

05:55It is also reported that some assistance have to be deactivated again after each restart, which is due to EU regulatory requirements.
06:07The fundamental qualities of the Sorento remain unchanged, with the facelift primarily ensuring an even more appealing exterior.
06:14In Germany, the entry-level price starts at 53,190 euros for the Vision with a diesel engine and front-wheel drive.
06:23An additional 2,000 euros is charged for all-wheel drive technology.
06:28The hybrid models are to follow at a later date.
06:32Compared to similarly equipped SUVs such as the VW Tiguan, the Sorento is priced slightly higher,
06:38but remains significantly cheaper than a Mercedes-Benz GLC.
06:41However, many prospective buyers expressed the wish that more off-road variants similar to the XPO line should be available here in Germany.
