00:08Today, we have exciting details about the new Kia Zyros,

00:12an extraordinary crossover that is about to make its official debut.

00:17This model will be an important addition to the Kia Crossover product range

00:21and promises a fresh approach to design and comfort.

00:24The Kia Zyros, whose world premiere will take place in India on December 19,

00:32is characterized by its minivan-inspired proportions and a lounge-like interior.

00:39With this mix, Kia aims to bridge the gap between the Sonet and the Zeltos.

00:45The strategic importance of the model is great,

00:48as it forms an essential part of the Kia 2.0 strategy for India.

00:52The aim is to meet the specific needs of the local customer base,

00:57while at the same time maintaining a global market appeal.

01:01The choice of the name Zyros follows the well-known Kia tradition of naming SUV models with names

01:07beginning with S, such as the Sonet, Zeltos, Sportage or Sorento.

01:13Interestingly, Zyros is also the name of a Greek island in the EGS.

01:17Whether this inspiration had a direct influence on the vehicle has not been officially confirmed.

01:24The design of the Zyros features an angular silhouette reminiscent of a smaller version

01:29of the Kia Carnival with a flat roof and almost vertical tailgate.

01:34Particularly striking are the LED headlights on the outer ends of the bumpers and the L-shaped

01:39taillights that frame the rear window.

01:40Other design elements such as a dominant B-pillar area are reminiscent of models such as the

01:47Hyundai Casper.

01:49According to Kia, the Zyros reflects a progressive SUV design language that deliberately dispenses

01:54with conventional SUV designs.

01:58Inside, customers can expect a futuristic ambience with innovative seating arrangements.

02:03Special features include a 10-inch infotainment display, electrically adjustable and ventilated

02:10seats, a panoramic glass roof, a Bose audio system as well as up to six airbags and advanced

02:16safety functions.

02:18As a result, the Zyros will set new standards not only visually but also functionally.

02:24The vehicle will initially be powered by two internal combustion engines, a 1.0-liter turbocharged

02:30gasoline engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.

02:34Power is transmitted via a 6-speed manual transmission or optional automatic options, including a 6-speed

02:40torque converter or a C-bang dual-clutch transmission.

02:45A fully electric variant of the Zyros is also expected, but at a later date.

02:52The Kia Zyros is scheduled to launch in India in early 2025 and there are indications that the

02:58Zyros could also be introduced in other markets.
