00:11a breathtaking electric hypercar from China. With an incredible 12,525 electric horsepower,

00:18the Hyper SSR sets new standards and leaves competitors like Remark or Tesla in the shade.

00:24But it's not just the performance that impresses, the price is surprisingly low for a vehicle in

00:29this class. The GXON Hyper SSR was first announced in 2022 and has been causing a stir ever since.

00:37In 2024, the gay group used the renowned Meander Design Week to introduce itself to the European

00:43market. The Hyper SSR was presented as part of the Fury Salon, marking the first public appearance

00:51of the Chinese hypercar in Europe. The Hyper SSR also recently celebrated its international debut

00:57in Thailand at the Burra Circuit racetrack, about 15 kilometers from Pattaya. There, the vehicle

01:04impressively demonstrated what its extraordinary performance data is capable of. The Hyper SSR is

01:11equipped with three electric motors, which together generate a breathtaking output of 1,225 horsepower,

01:18913 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 12,000 newtonum at the wheels.

01:22The result is acceleration that will amaze even die-hard motorsport fans.

01:30The basic version of the Hyper SSR accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.3 seconds.

01:37The ultimate version even achieves this in just 1.9 seconds.

01:43Values that are exceptional even in the hypercar segment.

01:46Another technical highlight is the vehicle's 900-volt architecture, which enables extremely

01:52fast charging. This feature is a major advantage in view of the expected energy consumption.

02:00However, Jian has not yet published details on the consumption figures, which is not unusual

02:06for Chinese car manufacturers. Nevertheless, the Hyper SSR impresses not only with its performance,

02:12but also with its pricing. The basic version is available in China for 1.28 million yuan,

02:19which corresponds to around 164,000 euros. The Sprint variant costs the equivalent of around 176,000

02:27euros and the top-of-the-range SSR Ultimate model is offered for around 215,000 euros.

02:33These prices are remarkably low for an electric hypercar with this performance.

02:37Visually, the Hyper SSR is based on well-known Italian sports cars and thus relies on a proven

02:44sporty design. The interior, on the other hand, remains rather plain, as photos on the manufacturer's

02:52website show. In terms of innovation and technology, however, the Hyper SSR stands out

02:58and offers an overall package that is hard to beat in its price range.

03:03Deliveries in China already began in autumn 2023 and Gion is also active in Thailand.

03:09A factory is currently being built there in order to strengthen its presence on the international

03:14market. However, it is currently unclear whether the Hyper SSR will come to Europe. What is certain,

03:20however, is that this electric hypercar is a real game-changer.
