00:00Welcome to the new video from Tuningblog about the exciting 2024 Audi RSQ8.
00:24Today we're talking about the latest facelift of this sporty SUV, which not only looks
00:31great, but also sets new standards in terms of performance with a performance version.
00:38But before we really get started, remember to subscribe so you don't miss any videos.
00:45The Audi RSQ8 brings an additional portion of aggression to the luxury class of SUVs
00:50and impresses with its eye-catching design.
00:54The strikingly larger air intakes, a wider single-frame grille and the sporty diffuser
00:58underline the already impressive appearance.
01:04Under the hood of the RSQ8 beats as before a powerful 4L Baturbo V8 engine, which in the
01:08new performance version delivers a whopping 640 horsepower and 850 newm of torque.
01:17This makes it the most powerful series model that Audi has ever put on the road with a combustion
01:21engine.
01:23From the standard model, the same engine delivers 600 horsepower and 800 newton meters of torque,
01:29accelerating the heavy vehicle to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.8 seconds.
01:36The performance version even steps it up a notch and completes the sprint to 100 kilometers
01:40per hour in a sporty 3.6 seconds.
01:47Both versions reach a governed top speed of 250 kilometers per hour, with Audi offering an
01:52option to increase this to 280 or even 305 kilometers per hour for those who really want to let it rip.
02:02The weight-optimized sports exhaust system of the performance model not only provides a slight increase in performance,
02:08but also gives the RSQ8 a particularly powerful and unmistakable sound.
02:13This even surpasses the previous powerhouse from Audi, the 6 rupees performance.
02:19Of course, the RSQ8 also offers everything that Audi fans love about the brand in terms
02:25of technology.
02:27The permanent Quadro all-wheel drive and the 8-speed automatic transmission with even more refined
02:32shift times guarantee precise handling and optimum acceleration.
02:37In normal operation, the mechanical center differential distributes 40% of the power to the front axle
02:43and 60% to the rear axle.
02:47If required, the torque can be flexibly directed up to 70% to the front or 85% to the rear,
02:53which promises improved cornering and less understeer.
03:00The RSQ8 is equipped with an adaptive air suspension as standard, which can optionally be upgraded
03:05with electromechanical side-roll stabilization.
03:11With the help of a 48-volt lithium-ion battery, this ensures that lateral inclination in curves
03:16is minimized and noticeably increases driving comfort.
03:22For lovers of extremely sporty performance, there is the Dynamic Package Plus, which not
03:26only increases the top speed to 35 kilometers per hour, but also includes electromechanical side-roll
03:32stabilization, the Quadro's port differential and powerful RS ceramic brakes.
03:40All-wheel steering is of course included as standard and ensures even more agile steering
03:44and more precise steering at high speeds.
03:50Audi has also upgraded the headlights and now offers Matrix LED technology as standard with
03:54optional HD Matrix LED headlights and additional laser light as high beam.
04:01The laser light not only increases the range, but also stands out visually from the base model
04:05with a darker bezel.
04:08Five digital daytime running light signatures are available for even more individuality.
04:14New paint finishes such as elegant secure gold, sporty Ascari blue and eye-catching chilly
04:19red round off the exterior appearance.
04:25In addition, optional 23-inch alloy wheels in a 6 wide-spoke design offer a weight-optimized
04:30version compared to the standard 22-inch wheels, which results in a weight reduction of 20 kilograms
04:36in the performance version.
04:40The interior of the RS Q8 also shines with a sporty, elegant design and high-quality equipment.
04:46Three RS design packages in red, grey or blue are available, the latter being reserved exclusively
04:53for the performance version and underlining the sporty flair with blue seat belts and an
04:57Alcantara steering wheel.
05:01The revised RS Q8 does come at a price, however, as the entry-level model costs a whopping âŹ141,900.
05:11The car can be ordered from June 27.
05:14With these improvements, Audi is definitely setting new standards and should have a small
05:17but decisive advantage over BMW and Mercedes in the competition for high-performance SUVs.
05:27That concludes our video.
