02:02The proportions of the car are just amazing.
02:06It's very sporty.
02:08It's having a very low roof.
02:10It's having a very long wheelbase.
02:12Super short overhangs.
02:15The wheels are sticking to the corners of the car.
02:18It's having a very upright, but flat and sporty front.
02:23We wanted to sharpen the character of the front, first of all.
02:28And we still wanted to keep the single frame mask as the main character of the car.
02:34And that single frame mask is now supported by a very clean surfacing.
02:38And the car is now even more looking sporty with the prominent expressive air intakes we are having at the side.
02:44And especially the width we are showing on the front end and the sportivity.
02:49On the rear end, it's a little bit like we were doing it on the front end.
02:55We have a lot cleaner design.
02:57We are having a brand new diffuser which is surrounded by this very white clasp on top of the diffuser.
03:05We are having fully working exhaust pipes and we are having a very sporty kind of looking diffuser part in the middle which is inspired by our race cars.
03:14The Q8 is, to me, it's kind of a statement car.
03:21The front of the car is the face of the car.
03:26And when we design an Audi, the headlights are always kind of the eyes.
03:31We sharpened the character of the Q8 by putting the horizontal base of the daytime running light a bit upwards, just below the bonnet, to make the car look as wide as possible.
03:48We have these super sharp angles and surfaces, kind of creating like an architecture of an X.
03:56We have optional laser light in these headlights.
03:59And for us, this X architecture is a symbol for the precision and the power of the laser.
04:05And you can see we marked the top option here with this little blue stripe.
04:10You can see all these super sharp edges and surfaces, super stretched.
04:17They, like, cascade from one angle to another through the whole rear, which makes it look fast, even though the car is standing right now.
04:27You can see it's accelerating.
04:29We have this super wide light band.
04:34On top, we added our digital OLED elements, which are there for individualization, so the customer can choose from four graphics.
04:42With this strong wing marking the end of the rear lamp, this is this bold appearance we wanted to achieve for the Audi Q8.
