00:10at the new second-generation Audi Q5 Sportback. This sleek SUV is primarily intended for the
00:17European market and complements the popular Q5 model range. With the Sportback, Audi combines
00:24a sporty, dynamic silhouette with the advantages of a classic SUV, all in a modern, technologically
00:30advanced overall package. The Audi Q5 Sportback is identical to the classic Q5 SUV in terms of
00:38length, width, and wheelbase. However, it differs in that it has a slightly lower roofline. This
00:45gives it a visually taut and more dynamic appearance. The boot volume is 515L and can be expanded to up
00:52to 1415L with the seat bench folded down, which means that the Sportback remains very practical
00:58despite its elegant shape. For those who want to tow a trailer, the Q5 Sportback offers an impressive
01:05towing capacity of 2400kg. The exterior design of the Q5 Sportback is characterized by a wide
01:14single-frame grille, flanked by functional air curtains. The flat rear window and the sloping
01:21roofline from the B-pillar create a sporty appearance, which is rounded off by raised bumpers and reel
01:26tailpipes. The advanced and SLINE equipment lines set different accents. While the advanced line
01:36shines with stylish contrasts such as scandium gray and selenite silver, the S-line underscores its
01:42dynamic aspirations with larger air intakes and a sportier diffuser. In the interior, Audi relies on
01:49high-quality materials such as recycled polyester, which is used in both the upholstery fabric
01:54cascade and the microfiber material dynamica. The Audi MMI panoramic display and the front passenger
02:02display are already familiar and are framed by a continuous soft wrap design that extends from the
02:06doors to the center console. These modern accents give the interior an elegant and at the same time
02:13sustainable ambiance. In terms of technology, the Q5 Sportback impresses with MHEV Plus technology,
02:21which uses a 48-volt onboard network to support the combustion engine. This enables purely electric
02:27maneuvering and parking. The belt starter generator RSG ensures efficient energy management by recovering
02:35energy and thus reducing consumption. A drivetrain generator delivers up to 230 Nm of additional
02:43torque and 24 horsepower, making the Q5 Sportback more dynamic and environmentally friendly. Three engine
02:50versions are available at market launch. The 2.0 TFSI offers 204 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque,
02:58while the 2.0 TDI combines the same power with 400 Nm of torque. Both variants use a 7-speed dual-clutch
03:07transmission, with the diesel only available with all-wheel drive. For those who want more power,
03:13Audi offers the SQ5 Sportback with a 3.0 V6 TFSI engine. It delivers 367 horsepower and an impressive
03:22550 Nm of torque. Prices for the Audi Q5 Sportback start at €54,800. While the Sportier SQ5 model is
03:32available from €85,400. This makes the Sportback slightly more expensive than the classic Q5 SUV.
03:39But the dynamic look and the extended equipment justify the extra cost.
03:44The vehicle can be ordered from December 2024 with first deliveries in the second quarter of 2025.
