00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog, where today we take a closer look at the brand new QJ Motor SRT800RX.
00:15If you don't want to miss anything, subscribe to stay up to date.
00:19This sports enduro is already causing a stir, because with a total weight of just 198kg and over 90hp, the SRT800RX delivers impressive performance figures for its class.
00:35The SRT800RX was first presented at the Kenton Motorcycle Fair in October 2024.
00:41Here, QJ Motor, the motorcycle brand of the Chinese Qijong Group, shows that they can produce much more than just chubby travel enduros.
00:49In fact, the new SRT800X has slimmed down by over 60kg compared to its heavier relatives and tips the scales at under 200kg with a full 20-liter tank.
01:03This ambitious lightweight design can already be seen in the aluminum rear swingarm, which is visually reminiscent of KTM.
01:11The sturdy bridge frame and the bolted frame rear are made of steel, which makes it very easy to repair.
01:19Under the hood, Kai Motor has installed a water-cooled, pure two-cylinder engine with 799 cubic centimeters.
01:28This engine produces an impressive 92.5 horsepower at 9,000 revolutions per minute and 77 newton meters of torque at 8,000 revolutions per minute.
01:37This engine is equipped with a six-speed transmission, while a quickshifter has not yet been mentioned.
01:47In terms of off-road performance, the SRT800RX rolls on knobby tires and has tubeless cross-spoke wheels that save a few hundred grams of unsprung mass.
01:56The upside-down telescopic fork and the central shock absorber are apparently from Masachi and suggest high-quality suspension here.
02:06Even if the exact suspension travel is currently unknown, it is probably safe to assume that the suspension travel is over 200 millimeters.
02:12For braking, Brembo supplies the SRT800RX with 4K piston brake calipers at the front.
02:20Abs and traction control are also standard.
02:24Other highlights of the equipment include LED lights, adjustable auxiliary headlights and the stylishly integrated turn signals in the hand protectors,
02:32although these can be a bit impractical in the event of a fall-off road.
02:35The rotary knob for adjusting the windshield height is particularly practical.
02:42A modern TFT display with connectivity functions is also part of the standard equipment.
02:48It is not yet known exactly when the KU Motor SRT800RX will be launched on the market,
02:53but Spring 2025 seems realistic, also here in Europe.
02:59And if you don't want to miss any future updates on the SRT800RX, don't forget to subscribe.
