00:37What's particularly interesting is that BYD is now using an 800-volt architecture for most versions of the vehicle.
00:44In plain language, this means that the car can be charged even faster and more efficiently.
00:50What's impressive is that despite this technical upgrade, the price has even been reduced.
00:55The basic version remains at around €230,000, which is the equivalent of around €22,000.

01:06The plug-in hybrid model, for example, costs between €21,000 and €28,000.
01:11The Haan offers many options, both as a fully electric model and as a plug-in hybrid.
01:20The plug-in hybrid uses BYD's brand new 5 German Marks system, which enables an electric range of an impressive 125 km.
01:28This should be particularly useful in city traffic if you want to travel in an environmentally friendly way without constantly having to rely on a power outlet.

01:43You can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, which gives you a lot of flexibility, especially if you often travel longer distances.

02:30The Haan can sprint from 0 to 100 km per hour in 7.9 seconds.
02:34Those who want it faster should take a look at the all-wheel drive, which reduces this time to a sporty 3.9 seconds.
02:45Incidentally, the torque of the all-wheel drive version is a whopping 380 kN and guarantees a truly dynamic driving experience.
02:52Another plus point of the new BYD Haan is the various battery options, which enable ranges of 506 to 701 km, depending on which model you choose.
03:08These ranges are more than sufficient for longer journeys without having to constantly look for a charging station.
03:13In conclusion, BYD has really impressed with the new Haan, both in terms of technology and price.
